Mia Terith's diary

Hi Mia!!! I feel like I haven't talked to you in AGES!!!!

I saw where you posted in my diary about eating healthy at the Chinese and passing up all the WATER LEVEL INCREASING foods. Or we can just call them WLI's for short. If my experience earlier this week as a poofball served as any kind of help in showing you the light of the evils of soy sauce, then my suffering was well worth it. LOL!!!!!

Hello there and Hugs to all

Okay this is what I had to eat yesterday

1 Yogurt and 1 smoothie lowfat

2 Bananas

1 Apple

1 Bowl of Total Cereal with Nonfat milk

1 Creme cheese Bagel (This was a carb killer but I was starved)

1 Spicy Chicken wrap that had grilled chicken, lettuce, tomato, onion, cheese, wrapped in a soft flour tortilla shell with no dressing

I sort of had a discouraging night last night. My husband and I went onto to try clothes at the mall and I went into Old Navy clothing store only to find that their size 8 was totally different than Target stores size 8 (which I am loose in) . I know that all stores cut their clothes and sizes differently and I am already seeing weight loss results in the mirror but it still was kinda of a downer. :( I am not losing faith though I guess I still want weight loss results to be automatic but I know they cannot be or it would not be healthy. I have a picnic to go to tommorow and their will be allot of naughty tempting foods their but I know I can resist them. Hugs until next time!

Great job on the food...

Don't forget - every designer and manufacter cuts their clothes different... you might be a size 8 on one designer, a size 4 in another and a size 12 elsewhere - size is just a number - Ge a measuring tape if you don't have one and take your measurements-that's the sure way to tell...

Okay I am actualy going to start dating my journal entries

1 Bowl of Total cereal

1 yogurt (nonfat)

1 yogurt smoothie (nonfat)

2 Bananas

1 Apple

1 small bowl of chicken alfredo with peas, carrots, and noodles in it, this was 9 grams of fat and 240 calories per serving.

I walked over a mile and a half today depsite the humidity outside being a bare. But bad news on the scale and workout video. I have to wait for next payday to come around to get the scale and workout dvd, which I believe is next week. Hugs until next time...

Postponing buying the scale may just mean that you are more pleasantly surprised at the weight you've lost once you buy it. You may be further into your 20 pound goal than you realize!!

Hello there once again,

Hey Scarlett I bet your right, maybe the scale will show some kindness toward my way. One can only hope. Okay here is my food schedule for today

Monday, July 17, 2006

4 cups of coffee with nonfat creamer

1 Bowl of Cinnamon Shredded Wheat cereal with nonfat milk

1 Apple

1 Banana

1 Lowfat yogurt

1 Lowfat yogurt smoothie

Side Comments: I had a wonderful weekend and I really enjoyed the picnic that I went to on Saturday. I did not have any fried foods at all. I ate raw veggies, cheese, and I had a frozen nonfat yogurt as a treat instead of ice cream. I also drank buttloads of water that day too cuz it was hotter than hell at the picnic. All in all, I did very well. Yesterday I just had a bowl of cereal, two yogurts, and Dinner at the Olive Garden in which I ordered Ravioli De Portabella Mushroom and BOY was it tasty! I had a small salad before that and only 1 breadstick with no dessert. So all in all, it was a good weekend foodwise. I did not gorge myself and I watched carefully what I ate. Until next time Hugs xxx ooo

that ravioli sounds delicious... I looooove portobella mushrooms... :)

and even better that you did good all weekend- well done!!

1 lowfat yogurt smoothie

1 bowl of shredded cinnamon wheat cereal with nonfat milk

3 cups of coffee with nonfat creamer

Comment For The Day

Well I did it! I finally purchased a wieght scale and Scarlett was right! I was at 1561bs. and now I am down to 143lbs.! I still have a way to go yet to reach 130lbs. but I am well on my way! Next week I am picking up my exercise video to really jumpstart my weight loss because this heatwave makes it too nasty to do any walking outside. :( At least with the exercise tape I can workout indoors with the AC cranked. On another note my hubby got a new motorbike and for him getting a new motorbike, I am getting two new tatoo's for the exchange. Well, that is it, until next time.

THIRTEEN POUNDS!!!!!

That is incredible...amazing....stupendous!!!!! I am so happy for you!!!! You've been doing so well, being conscientious with your food. So proud of you, honey!!!!! And you only have 13 pounds to go!!!

I do have one question...are you getting enough protein?

Hi Miaterith,

Is that all you are eating today. It seems low. You are doing good and congrats on the weight loss.
Thanks for posting in my diary. I agreed with you it is too hot to be walking. I think I am sticking with the Tae bo tapes for awhile.

Food Intake For The Day

1 Apple

1 Banana

1 Lowfat Yogurt

1 Lowfat Yogurt Smoothie

1 Bowl of mixed veggies, cheese, and chicken

Comment For The Day

Gothika has a point my intake is a little bit low. But this heat really zaps my appetite. I have a tendency to eat more in the winter, ( I think most of us do anyhow) but in the summer especially with this heat wave that we are having, I find it hard to gain an appetite back. Which can be a good and bad thing at the same time. I will be careful and if I am hungry I will eat. Hugs take care until next time...

If you're not starving intentionally, no worries. Just don't make me get the Twiny Stick out.

I can certainly relate to the hot weather - eat less connection. It does exist.

I'm glad to see that chicken in there today, Mia!!!! I'm a stickler about the protein!

Hope you are having a great evening!

Like to see those tat's on a pic on here someday soon :)

Noooooo, not the dreaded plateau!!!! It's okay Mia, just shake things up a little bit and you will overcome that hurdle. Exercising more would definitely do it.

Hope you are having a great Friday!!!

What kind of tatoos are you getting?

Food Intake For The Day

5 cups of coffee with nonfat creamer (yes I am addicted to caffiene)

1 Apple

1 Banana

1 Lowfat Yogurt

1 Lowfat Yogurt Smoothie

1 Bowl of buttered spiral rotini tri-colored pasta with graded cheese for lunch

Comment For The Day

Well to answer Scarlett's question, I am getting a tatoo done to each of my ankles. The design is a Celtic triangle called a Triquatra. They said I was going to be done in about two hours and the design is not that difficult to do. I am looking very forward to it! :p I am going to try and get over the dreaded plateau stage and I was a little bit naughty last night. I ate a small bag of Lifesavers gummi sours and a Sobe drink to try and curb my sweet tooth, it worked but the sugar carbs were a real killer. I figured it was better than me scarfing down a tub full of fatty ice cream. So I picked the lesser of two evils. My husband and I are going out to a buffet tonight so I am going to be good and not overdue it at the buffet. Well, until next time. Hugs xxx ooo
