I'm bloated like all hell and have YET to be slammed by the Red Dragon... the little bastard.. whereever he is. (Notice how I said "he" and not "it." LMAO!) I weighed in at 163 yesterday even with the bloat, so hopefully once things calm down, I'll be close enough to pinch the 150s ass. LMAO!

I like the idea of a cook book, OH YEAH!! To bad, I don't know a lot of light/low calorie desserts, that sucks! I know with some breads and cakes you can trade butter I believe for apple sauce, oh crap is it butter or oil. SHIT... I'll have to check that out, but I know you can. LOL LOL I can't wait for Thanksgiving, MMMMMM I'm so ready for the turkey and sweet potatoes, am I gross or what?? I know most people can't stand sweet potatoes, but man oh man if they are made just right, I can't get enough! And about the Cholo comment, girly let's not forget I was born and raised in the bayarea, we were a mixed bag for sure, and well I hung around some really nice looking ones, and remember my highschool sweet heart was part japanese/white. He was SMOKING! like 6.3 no kidding. Do you know the actor Brandon Lee?? He was the "crow" That's what he looked like, HOT! We are still good friends. :)

I used to work with a hot computer nerd named Chris, several years ago. WOW Mal, said that she toyed with the idea of getting a TATOO, my H and I give blood regularly, and actually he got me really started again, as he does it as often as the blood bank will allow, as we both have had family in the past that have needed blood, so it's extremely important. Back on the Tatoo thing, my H has like 7 and never have they told him he can't donate, so I'm just not sure what that is all about do you?? My H is part of several organizations, and well every 3 months or so one of them is doing a blood drive, that boy must have 3 dozen t-shirts or more from doing various ones, it's really cool. And this is funny, the last one I did, I got up to fast and well I was sitting next to my H, and WOOOOO I started slipping, and I passed out for like 3 seconds, it was so damn funny, that's what I get for rushing it and not waiting for the blood flow to get back into the brain. Maybe that's my PROBLEM.... LOL

I believe if you have a fresh tattoo, you have to wait.... ummm 12 months before you can give blood. As for older tattoos... nah, as long as you're clean from Hepatitis and whatnot, you're fine to give. Hell, you know the run down with the information packets you have to read beforehand, woman. haha!

See, there's another reason not to get tattoos..hahaha I can claim mad cow if I want to...I was in England and ate beef during a time frame they mention...yeah, I can't wait for all the mad cow jokes you're all gonna send my way...:rotflmao: I've tried to give blood before, but I always get turned down from either my blood pressure being to low, or my iron count.

I agree--Brandon Lee is hot and so are sexy nerds..lmao. Half Korean/half Caucasians are called Kyopos in Korean.
 
Today was blood donation day, so I made sure to get double the water (early in the morning.. drank 8 cups by 11am) and eat a healthy breakfast. Whenever I give blood, the girls are always so happy to see my veins. They call mine, "water hose veins." Ummm thanks.

This morning it seems I got the new girl. I was going to be her "first victim." She was really nervous and I could tell by her face, so I asked her, "Let me guess.... I'm going to be your first real donor, eh?" She answered with a yes and fumbled around with the equipment. She prepped me with iodine, a squeezy thingy, and a cold ass arm brace device. "You're going to feel a little pinch, ok?" She proceeded and before I knew it, it seemed I had sprung a leak. "OMG. You're a squirter." In my head I'm thinking, "Yah... like that's the first time I heard that one, sister." HAHA! I'll admit in saying, she really sucked at getting the vein and lucky for her, I have a high tolerance for pain. Unfortunately, in all my years donating blood, this is the first time I have a huge bruise. Freaking vampire hickey.

Workout:

- 20 min Turbo Jam
- 30 min Arc Trainer (Interval Training, Level 10)
- 120 mins just cruising around the mall

Meals:
Breakfast:
- 1/2 c oatmeal with medium red pear and 1c 1% milk (360 cal)

Snack:
- 2 tb peanut butter on 12 slices of Arnold 12 grain bread with sliced banana
- 1c 1% milk (600 cal)

Lunch:
- whole wheat pasta with chicken breast and veggies (bell peppers, onions, and zuchinni) with provolone cheese (595 cal)

Dinner:
- chicken breast with green bell peppers and onion fajita mix on whole wheat tortilla with 2tb reduced fat sour cream
- Skim Mocha Latte (495 cal)

Total Calories: 2,045 cal (1790-2140)
Notes: Depending on how my arm feels tomorrow (it's a little tight possibly due to today's 'trauma'), I may or may not weight train my back, biceps, and shoulders. I'll just wait and see how I feel early in the morning.

A couple more days until my sister's here. I am soooo excited! I have tons cleaning to do tomorrow and the following day. Also, need to purchase new sheets for the new bed. Yah.. I'm talking out loud.. again. hahaa

Good for you for donating! I had my tattoo done in Samoa with pig's teeth and they don't even clean the utensils....fortunately I didn't catch anything--talk about reckless :eek: But that was over two years ago.

How long will your sis be in? I hope you guys have a great time together during the visit.

My brother just moved back to AR this week. I get to see him and my two gorgeous nieces tomorrow for the first time in 2 years. I'm really excited. I'm "Cool Aunt Amy" to the girls so it should be a lotta fun. I'm gonna take them shopping! Plus, they all haven't met my daughter yet. Should be fun.

Congrats on the weight loss! You are just cruising on down to the 150's. What is your goal?
 
:hug2: for the bruise! :rotflmao: @ squirter I know the thought in everyones head when you said that..:rotflmao: Yay for sis coming into town,I feel lucky in that aspect I have a 15 year old lil sis that lives like 6 blocks away and my brother who is 28 lives like 5 minutes away I would be sooo lonely without them so I hope they don't move to far.I am proud of ya for doing the blood thing I thought about it but me being scared to death of needeles even tho I have 5 do it yourself TATTS from the drunken teen days and I have 4 kids I still hate needles they usualy find the vein by the 4th-5th poke :rolleyes: IV'S are 10 x's worse the anestiaolygyst(wow )has to always be called to my room during labor after 2-3 nurses try the poking game on me then I start getting BITCHY.Anyway you keep on trucking those lbs away and have a gr8 day Tammy:hug2:
