Today was a very calm day. Sean was pretty much out and about since Friday night, so we didn't really get to spend much time together this weekend. That's fine, because next weekend we're going to Utica to see The Tossers and Dropkick Murphys!!!WOOOOT! Jenna, I'm going to take a pic and I hope you like it. :D Since Sean slept almost the whole day away, I decided to make myself busy and make up for not being able to start Power 90 on Monday. Things will get better and as always, the girls are always here to support you. :hug2: Oh.. and Jenna's ass reminds me of Guinness: thick and delicious. ... Amber has me fiending for a steak and onion hoagie, which I'll probably end up making tomorrow... and another thing... I hope Rena took a dump by now...

PS to my girl FatSuitGoing aka Sara, I'm so proud of you with your run! When I read that, I was like, "Well go on, girl!" :) So in honor of your accomplishment.....

Hey, if you all want to come on over, I will whip you up some steak and onion hoagies! I am making one again tomorrow, only today I bought bell peppers so I am going to toss that in, too!

Thanks Sheryl, I'm feeling it a lot today. My left knee is not happy and my thighs are burning! It has made me more hungry too, so today has been hard.
But glad I achieve my goal to do it! :)

You better swing by Michigan and pick me up--I'm on the way...:jump: :jump: What a hell of a raucous and raunchy road trip that would be!! It would be like Thelma and Louise with three...:rotflmao: :rotflmao:

If I start swimming now from Australia will I make it in time for pumpkin pie at Thanks Giving? Amber, can you send a list of the ingredients, it is just that there seems to be some rather 'unsavory recipes' around these days!!! :)

Yucky! I HATE pumpkin pie.

Ingredients for the hoagie: thin sliced lean steak, roasted onion, roasted bell pepper, a hoagie roll and some provolone cheese, if desired.

Absolutely no firecrotches, crabs, croissant dough, or buttery goodness.

But then what is the seasoning?

On the roasted veggies, a little olive oil, salt and pepper. On the steak, steak dust.

Nothing unsavory in my kitchen!!!!

CONGRATS SHERYL!!!! YOU WORKED DAMN HARD TO GET IT!!!!!!!:jump: :jump: :jump:

::RUNNING MAN ALL OVER::

So here I am, sitting at my computer with my oscillating fan blowing through my nappy hair. (It's been a hard day with the heat and I'm greasy looking.) My look screams, "Yes... I smell the way I look." hahaaa! So not hot, but who gives a damn, right?

Okay girl... we started this together, so I wanted to share this moment with you....

Oh so today I accomplished something pretty big in my eyes.
You are 99 % of the way toward the goal of 20000 points for a Bronze Award. Only 98 points to go! Now this is before I go to put in my workout of Turbo Jam. And now..... I'll plug in TJ.

Congratulations ! you have won a Presidential Champions Bronze award. You are 44 % of the way toward the goal of 45000 points for a Silver Award. Only 24800 points to go!

AHHHH! I did it, Jenna! It's "running man time," baby!!! I'm doing the running man and Sean's looking at me and grinning like an idiot. You're next girl!! Keep going!

-Sheryl

For those of you not in "the know," Jenna and I first started talking to one another at the President's Challenge that Mal had posted. I decided to leave this post at Jenna's journal, because she's been a major inspiration to me. Honestly, I believe this challenge helped me to really get on track with my workouts and pushed me beyond what I thought were "my limits." Today, I just earned myself a Bronze award and as silly as that may sound, I'm so proud of myself. This is the first time that I actually took part in anything really physically challenging during my weight loss journey. (Softball and MMA training as exceptions) It freaking feels amazing! :D Anyways, off to my accomplishments:

Workout:
- Brisk Walk (60 mins)
- Power 90 Sculpt 1-2 (30 min)
- Turbo Jam-Cardio Party (43 min)

Meals:

Breakfast:
- oatmeal and strawberries
- bowl of kiwi, cantaloupe and grapes with 1% cottage cheese (415 cal)

Snack:
- Ghetto Banana Burrito with 2 tbs peanut butter (415 cal)

Lunch:
(Thanks to Amber and her delicious meals, I had to copy her!)
- Round steak with green bell peppers, onions, and mushrooms with part skim mozarella cheese on a hoagie roll (It was DELICIOUS!) (470 cal)

Snack:
- cantaloupe slices with a fig
-1.5 c 1% milk (230 cal)

Dinner:
- Rosemary and Garlic Roasted Chicken with red potatoes and green beans
(420 cal)

Total Calories: 1,950 calories (1990-2340)
President's Challenge Points Earned: BRONZE Medal awarded, Baby!
Notes: I haven't quite reached my calories for the day, but damn.. I'm really full at the moment. Being that it is hot, I may have to enjoy myself a Fudgsicle (In honor of ellebelle) or two... haha I'm trying to go to bed earlier, because this staying up late is for the birds. :) My poor old body won't allow it for too much longer. haha Oh.. and another thing, I'm going for silver now! WOOOT! Wishing you all a wonderful night!
