Hey Mystic... yup, yesterday definately was "springish".... and lake forming around our house too....all that late-winter heavy snow we got is not good...hope your folks do ok at their place...

Lucky You , not having to wade-thru Easter dinners this year, ...I will try & be good at mine.... did ok last nite eating out, had a 1/2size salad with grilled chicken on top.... & a "bit" of hubby's pizza... just a bite. ;)

Plan today:
Exercise... noon walk, treadmill, Koko walk.
food: budget is 1,300cals, have 645 planned so far(breakfst&lunch)....and supper tonite is at home...so should be ok.

Hey Maryann - I am totally NOT worried about you - you are ALWAYS great when you are eating out!!!
It sounds like you gonna have a wonderful weekend ahead of you.
(Jealous you have a long weekend - we won't even have a day off.)
 
I hear you on the weather just motivating you even more. We are almost into summer which means our wedding season is creeping in. And I'm just loving the sun, sea and warmness.

I love your plan and I agree with everyone else, you are really eating healthy and making good choices! I'm sure that as you continue to make the exercise a little tougher, you will lose even more...our body has a way of getting efficient at working those muscles not to burn calories (bummer!) so just keep making thiose win/win choices with Koko and I'm betting you'll get good resu,to! Your walking path a t noon soy des really nice...much better than my options!

BTW - I can't believe you are saying no to Easter chocolate! I have been counting down to this day! I can finally eat chocolate - TOMORROW - i have chocolate egg sitting right next to me !

Hi Maryann, Hope you are having a lovely Easter. We had one small chocolate egg each with the grand-kids & trust me, it was fairly ordinary. Our son buys good quality eggs but milk chocolate tastes like fat & sugar to me. :ack2: Good quality dark chocolate is my treat. I don't want the grand-kids thinking I'm obsessive about food, so usually have something similar or the same as them.
Are you measuring Maryann? I used to find that some weeks I lost weight & others size. You are doing so well. I'm glad you are getting the support you so generously give. Enjoy the thaw! xoxo Cate

-did ok avoiding chocolate over the weekend, but had a fair amount of ham,turkey etc. , ... oh well, I enjoyed the weekend , today....back to diet :)

Plan today:
food: calories 1,200 & aiming for the 7 servings fruit/veg servings
exercise: noon walk, Koko walk & Zumba.

Great on avoiding the chocies! Ham and turkey is protein and that will burn up quickly.

hey folks,

day is going pretty good.... thx for the well-wishes Mands & Justina ;)

noon walk is done, koko walk is done ( she sure got dirty paws with all the puddles & melting everywhere...but she still loved it ! )
...just evening Zumba to go... but am feeling bit tired...the zumba might get swapped-down to just treadmill....

...food doing ok today ...total calories is 1,215.... having my aftn. snak of celery sticks+red pepper strips + tzaziki , ...planned food today includes 3 fruit servings (asian pear, banana, orange) & 4 veg servings (celery,red pepper, 2 x salad)...so got my 7 fruit/veg ...yay.

...I haven't done the tape-measure lately Cate, but clothes are looser..so you may be correct on that one...

...time to go make some supper...we're having shrimp + chicken on th BBQ....*(take advantage of the nicer weather today...)...

Hi Maryanne, iv been reading your diary a bit and been meaning to comment!! . I love your positivety :) . Congrats on your loss so far and good job avoiding choclate!, I some how managed to do the same, mega achievement haha.
