Your Mum thinks she can take out her frustration & anger on you. Alzheimer's is a beast. Marsia. Not absorbing other people's stresses & worries & learning to let it bounce off you? I think we can all learn more about that! The mom is another thing, but she always is. I really, really may be learning to let her weirdness roll off my back better - that is a major thing for me. Fingers crossed I can keep it up! Really reading the Alzheimer's forum about other people's relatives who yell at them constantly must be starting to sink in and help. I no longer see her anger as directed at me personally. She just is unhappy and it comes out because she knows me, I think. And I don't have to absorb it - Wow - how did that finally start to sink in?!!
That sounds wonderful!yesterday was The Willystock Festival celebrating the 50th anniversary of Woodstock where my kid performed with a couple of bands. She did amazing and it was a very magical day. People really loved her performing Jimi Hendrix's version of The Star Spankled Banner. The organizer of the event was a professional guitar player in Los Angeles who won all sorts of awards for his playing, and my daughter got to perform with his band and the band of the organizers of open mike that she goes to.
I thought I was the only one!I absolutely hate Nutella & don't get how anyone likes it.
I love that kind of weather! It fogged so hard, it's slightly raining out, which I love. And it makes the air really nice to breathe.
