thanks so much guys - and i hate it when i see inspirational threads and the ops disappear!! so i definitely haven't disappeared, i guess work is so busy these days and not having the net at home. but so many times i've wanted to update you guys. ok so phew, this is kinda hard, but at the moment i'm at 63 kilos. arghhhhhh sounds scary, but it would appear its the healthy weight that my body 'wants'.
essentially i guess i was going a bit hungry, started overeating a lot. slowly getting it under control. at the moment i still do my exercise (thank god for exercise bikes eh) so i do 8 and a half hours a week, 600 calories per hour. i ride til i pass out - intermittently running outside if weather permits. sure, running is great, but crikey its tough on the knees right.
so at the moment my daily intake is probably round about 1700 still. i eat a LOT of brocolli, cauliflower, beetroot, beans and stuff. occasionally for a treat i'll have cereal. and my diet jello, diet yoghurt and fruit is still there wit bananas and peaches and apples.
my snacks are also 3 bags of snow peas/sugar snap peas a day.
i guess exercise sort of was taking over my life a bit, i do an hour each morning (get up just before 5am - now that i'm used to it i can't go with out it) and then a half hour 3 nights week. on the weekends i usually do the hour late arvo or sunday night. um. there was a question in regards to chest size haha?? yes i was a 16D (aus). i'm now a 10A. very strange stuff...
i had a lot of trouble with water retention for a while there though. not sure of that...
and weirdly enough. if i have a big binge one night (hate to talk in reference seemingly to eating disorder - but yes, that much restricting for that long has led to a bit of that - you can only go so long without eating bread!!), the next morning i'll weigh less. i literally threw out the scales for a while there. because as soon as i got an exercise bike and my legs started to bulk up a bit - i certainly put on weight.
the weight watchers meals certainly worked for me initially (but they've got nothing taste wise on lean cuisines!!!). i find weight watchers range sucked to be honest. i joined - the support was nothing. the meals had no variety - and looking at stuff occasionally on the shelves, there are heaps of items that you can find that have lower calorie amounts in other brands ie cereals etc.
if i get hungry i try not to be too hard on myself these days - i always carry 4 apples, 4 pears, 3 bananas to work etc.
so yeh, essentially i've put on 10 kilograms. and for a while that was hard. it felt like my hard work was for nothing. but. i won't think of it like that.
some photos of me currently.
