I just started my journey @ 212 lbs (currently at 210) and my body shape is very similar to yours. This is SO inspiring to me. Congratulations on your success and thank you so much for posting your photos.

thanks guys, feedback such as yours is invaluable
i'm now at the stage where i need to maintain
as i can't afford to lose any more weight really
i've still got flab so i guess i'll jsut work my butt off at toning
but running and elliptical are so addictive its hard!!
anyways at the moment my life is very very busy
struggling with being up at 5 and not to bed til 11 most nights
i've only been doing 5 hours a week!!
but i've kept my same eating routine which is extremely healthy
i basically never ever eat junk food ever so that keeps it easy
literally 'ive had no takeaway or junk food, not even subway, in 2010
if i ever feel the need to binge, i have a few grapes
so at the moment, still losing weight tsk tsk but knocking back the exercise to 5 hours a wk

wow!!! I am overwhelmed to think how far I have to go.

i swear, the fact that it was a challenge made it a bit easier to justify all the hours spent!! if it were easy, everyone would be doing it :) ppl think that i'm strange, i haven't watched television in over 6 months, but when i get home from work and my mates are watching telly, i'd prefer to grab my stuff and get to the gym for an hour. and in the mornings, if i'm tired, i don't care, i'll walk for an hour, better than nothing or going back to bed cos i'm too tired for running. once its a lifestyle - there's no way u can go back!

i find it a MUCH bigger challenge dealing with the people that aren't exactly supportive. its difficult when people constantly comment 'you better not lose anymore!' or 'why are you still losing weight' and 'stop going to the gym'.

i don't want to ruin all my hard work, i never did this short term (hence why this time round it worked and all diets in the past failed - i same them short term), this is the long haul - my lifetime. and by jeepers, if i've paid for a gym membership i'm going!! i come home knackered and ready for a nights sleep, rather than tied from watching the idiot box.

at the moment, i'm at a bit of a lagggggg stage, i haven't even been to the gym this week!! went running for an hour monday night, walking for an hour tuesday morning, then wednesday night socialising with the new boyfriend til after midnight, then had a veryyyyyyy late night thursday night til 3 in the morning!! very naughty, tsk tsk. so by the time i finally made it to bed last night, 8 hours behind on sleep. but tonight, i don't care - its back to the gym for an hour then the same in the morning. oh and no more jack daniels - tsk tsk 1800 calories in a whole bottle??? i thought i was doing the right thing drinking it with coke zero, zero calories.

but not if i was drinking a whole damn bottle in a night. so i've switched to hahn premium light, the lowest calorie full strength beer we have here in oz, only 99 calories in a bottle, and if i get talked into having a few by the new fella, well i don't feel anywhereeeee near as guilty having a six pack on a week night.

finally, i have found a happy medium!!

Wow.. amazing achievement :) You're so pretty you looked fine at 85kg - Then you looked amazing, really healthy and gorgeous at 63kg... but, (and Please don't take this the wrong way, it's your body, your choice) I think you looked healthier at 63kg than now at 55kg *ducks*

Congrats on your achievement again, you're a beautiful young woman at any size, so be the size that feels right for you :)

:) course thats fine, thats just 'feedback'. i have been told i look a bit bony, but i guess its kinda hard - basically in the last week i was too busy to exercise more than 2 hours in total and i still lost weight! think it was because before that i was exercising too much and not enough of a calorie intake.

so its a relief to realise i don't have to go so overboard all the time and may even be able to add in some more grapes daily - which are so my bad bad guilty treat at the moment, but so deter me anytime i feel like having something naughty...

Quality Coffee you look great!!! What a wonderful job! You did so well.

I have a question to ask you because your regimen is similar to how I want mine. Sometimes eating takes too much of my time and I was considering to start some protein shakes or any shakes or bars really that can give me the nutrition I need. Do you have any recommendations?

Wow, I just started in this forum this week. I am glad to have come across your thread as it is definitely inspirational. i have about 60 pounds to lose, although, I don't look like I weigh as much as i do. Nobody has responded to my thread as of yet, but I am finding great motivation through threads like yours that let me know that it can be done, and the race is on for sure. Thanks for that.

True inspiration :D So good when peoples hard work pays off, you look awesome but i think you always had a pretty face :D

Im not looking to lose as much as you did but still your pics are a great motivation,

hey sorry i took so long!!! the brand i buy is 'MUSASHI', in the SLM range. the one i use has the lowest calorie amount for the highest protein amount that i could find anywhere. and my goodness it tastes good. i don't use the bars - way more calories. i see the 40gram juice box looking shakes at my gym though, also in the MUSASHI brand. but yes, a lot more calories!! depends if i was going a bit harder i suppose. so yes mine is called:

MUSASHA
SLM
HIGH PROTEIN FORMULA
14.08 oz 400g
33.8g protein
flavours - vanilla or chocolate
8 serves per container
114 calories per serve/478kj
just mix with water and add ice
bludy wonderful

i also have a tin of tuna which has 14g of protein
and i have 2 diet yoghurts per day, 6g of protein in each
i also get 13g from cabbage daily
13g from mushrooms
and 3g from my bananas

Thanks so much...I bought two tins of this Natura soy blend chocolate protein meal shake thing....so after I finish these I will look for the Musasha. These Natura ones have 150 cal per serving.

Thanks again!

Im lookin at losing 10-12kgs, main concern is my belly after 2 kids (before pic on here somewhere) and toning the rest of my body up.
Im doing a mix of cardio and weights and also a combat class once a week :D and eating lots of steak, chicken, veges, salads and yoghurt 4 my sweet tooth :p
Will be back to look at your pics heaps no doubt lol

WOWWW !! You removed mountains :) Even before you were very beautiful, but after you are very very beautiful and healthy and fit.. :) I thing, you are gonna be my inspiration, you have to be :)

During diet, when you got bored, got upset or doing nothing, how did you block yourself from eating jnky foods or anything???

Hey there :)

I was browsing these forums lastnight and came across your post... You had the exact same body as I have now... Height, Weight everything... And as silly as it sounds I didn't want to lose the weight because I didn't think my body would shrink.. I don't really know what I thought would happen too it!
So the last few days I've been trying to motivate myself to eat healthy and go for walks for a minimum hour everyday- it's hard as I'm currently unemployed so can't afford a treadmill- but that being said I have pllllleeenty of time on my hands to spend time being active haha

You've really inspired me... I hope once I drop this crap attached to my body I can look as AMAZING as you do now :D I never thought I'd be one of those slender girls I see walking around but the more I think about it now the more it motivates me to work out for 10minutes longer everyday :D

Thankyou for sharing <3
You're my aspiration and inspiration :)

I made an account just so I could post here and say thanks!
Maybe I'll start my own thread soon :)
