M.L.B's Road to happiness

AHey MLB.....you haven't updated your journal in like a week and 2 days!! What's up with that? Hrmmmm? lol ;) I hope everything is going good for you. Good luck in the New Year!!

AMy sore foot was giving me trouble so I couldn't really exercise, so i was only able to lose 0.2 kg, which brought me down to 103.5kg. But I am back in full throttle and expect a good loss this week.

AHello, thanks for stopping by my diary, ur words of encouragement really picked me up. I haven't had time to read through ur diary but u seem to b doing wonderfully well definately an inspiration.
Thanks again and I look forward to reading ur updates and seeing ur progress :)

AGlad I could be helpful bunny, thats what we are all here for.

So this week I lost another 0.9kg and I'm down to 102.6kg. Getting real close now to passing the 100kg mark.

AThis whole week i was in a training course for my new job, so I only got in 2 workout days so far, but plan on hitting the treadmill tomorrow. I don't except a huge loss this week, but next week I will have more time for working out.

Have been reading a bit of the diary going back a ways and wanted to say congrats on your progress so far. I'm starting back where you began and hope to be able to get to your current weight as an end goal. Keep up the good work and that 100kg mark should be just around the corner.

AThanks gooder, you just got to stick with it, and I promise you that you will get to your goal weight. It's ok if you are not 100% focused all of the time, but just as long as you don't give up.

A
Spot on.. I can't believe you've lost 60lbs MLB! That's mad! You should be VERY proud! Do you have any before/now pictures?
Yah crymlyn I take full front/side/back pictures at the end of every month. I'm gonna post some up when I get below 100kg.

The foot all healed up now MLB? Good luck with the countdown to 100kg!

Nice that you've remembered to take progress shots throughout the journey. I had considered taking the same shots again this time but I already have a weekly set from last time I worked from 290->230.

AThanks Feeling, and yes my foot is all healed up, going strong now. I think you should still take pictures, because time has passed and things might be different. Maybe you gained some muscle last time, and you might be able to see them sooner now.

AI am down another 0.8kg this week, and that brings me down to 101.7kg... not to long now to get under 100kg.

Thanks Jen, yah losing 60 lbs is pretty amazing, I am over half way there.

Hey MLB,

Congratulations on your accomplishments...and way to stick with it! It gives us all motivation to see that perseverance pays off! Way to go man!

Sarah

ASorry for not being around for the last month, but I am still on track.

I am now closer than ever to passing the 100kg mark, as I am now down to 100.2kg (220.9 lbs). So I believe that I will get below 100kg by the end of this week, or next week.

I kinda hit a platue in the last 2 months, but I think it's because I started going to the gym, so I packed on a couple of lbs of muscle ( noob gains).

Nicely done on the approach. Packing on extra muscle is always nice.

I've been noticing that it seems very hard to both gain muscle and lose weight overall at the same time but the muscle gain is going to be helpful in the long run.

Look forward to seeing you hit double digits
