M.L.B's Road to happiness

Aforgot to enter this before, but tomorrow I am gonna do a project with all my clothes in my closet. I have a lot of clothes that I haven't worn in a long time, so I am going to try them all on tomorrow, and all the clothes that are big on me, I am going to put in a bag to give it away to charity. All the clothes that are small on me, I am going to put aside and have them as my "clothes I need to fit into" Goal.

I think this will help me down the line, by only having clothes that are small on me or clothes that fit me right, will give me something to help me track my weight loss. also not having clothes that are big on me, won't give me some clothes to fall back on if I fall off the wagon for a while.

ASounds good! I like also trying on my old clothes and those which doesnt fit me well yet. Nowadays I have lots of clothes which are little bit baggy, used to those were a bit small to me. I can also use some of my old-new clothes now, cos used to they didnt fit me at all!

Tell us then how the inventory went, have a great weekend! :)

ASo after a week and a half of having leg pains, I finally got back to working out and it feels good to get back to burning that fat. Had a pretty good week as far as eating goes, I ate mostly healthy but I had some small binges here and there. I always feel more motivated to eat healthier while I am working out.

On Friday the family is getting together to celebrate our grandmothers birthday, and there will be a lot of delicious food there, so I will have to count that as my cheat day, other than that the weekend shouldn't be to bad.

Well done on working out!! I have small binges sometimes too, but i find it helps me then to stay on track for the next couple of days afterwards.

I hope you enjoy the party and food at your Grandmothers birthday, and that your Grandmother has a great day!!:)

AAnother good loss this week, I am down another 1.1kg that brings me to 120.6kg. After not being able to workout for a while I see this as a great loss, and hope that by next week to be under 120kg.

AI'm down another 0.7kg (1.5 lbs) this week and even though it's not a big loss, it got me though my first milestone, getting under 120kg.

AWOWWWWW MLB!! Thats huge I know, I would love to get under 85kg already! Thats kind of my milestone vos Ive been months between 86-89kg. Gongrats buddy!! Keep on going! :grouphug:

AHad a great week, and scale shows it. I lost 2.2kg this week and am down to 117.7kg.

It's been nearly 2 months sense I started this, and I have so far lost 12.3kg (27.1 lbs), and if I keep going like this I will be able to reach my goal of getting under 100kg by the new year.

AFor the past week I have been feeling like shit, and although I haven't stopped working out, I haven't been putting 100% into my workouts, but I still continue to workout, seeing that 99kg is not that far away, I just hope that feeling goes away soon.

I didn't post my last weeks loss, so I'll just post it with Fridays weigh in.

AI didn't post last weeks loss, so last week I lost 0.9kg (1.9 lbs), and this week I lost 1.5kg (3.3 lbs).

So my current weight is 115.3kg (254.1 lbs), and I am closer than ever to 99kg which I am hoping to get to by the new year, or early January. I am really hoping to lose all this weight by next summer, because I have a lot of things that I want to do, and this weight always got in the way of that.

AYour totally right crymlyn, I just have to push through this rough patch, and I will make it.

Update for this week:

I lost 1kg this week, and I am now down to 114.3kg (251.9 lbs)

ASorry I haven't stopped by recently. So many journals!

You're doing really well. I'm having up and down days too, I know it can be tough, but we can only keep trying! :)

You'll most certainly get your goal if you keep at it ^^, you seem to be really determined. Determination is our greatest weight loss tool ;).

Athanks for the motivation and things have been looking up lately, and I am more determined to lose this weight, than I was when I started this whole thing.

Athings are going on track and I lost another 1.4kg this week. I am now down to 112.9kg (248.9 lbs).

AI had a horrible day today, I just couldn't stop eating... So I will just write down today as my cheat day for this week, and just keep on going.

Looking back at today I almost didn't drink any water, except when I worked out, so I think that might have been the reason why I was hungry all day long.

AGood luck this week, MLB. You've been doing great.. don't worry about your cheat day slip. Just keep going. :)

Kudos to you MLB! And best of luck to you as well. If you stay consistent and keep believing you can drop the weight, it should happen. My weight has fluctuated over the passed 10 years between 170ish and 200. When I'm heavier, it's usually because I'm lazier (less exercise or none at all), over-eating, and eating lots of junk. As a general rule for weight loss (speaking from experience and what I've read or heard from others), burn more calories than you intake,5 and the weight should drop.
