M.L.B's Road to happiness

I love chicken and rice. It tastes sooo good.

Great job with the treadmill. I love those, they're pretty easy, and simple. What does your iphone app do?

Good that you kept with it, rather than give up. I know that sometimes when I get frustrated by technology I tend to throw a fit and stop what I'm doing lol.

By the by, I feel that way after a workout too...I felt like it wasn't very challenging. That's partly why I stopped going to my gym, that, and I gained 3lbs. Anything is better than nothing! Keep at it ^^.

It lets me choose between 3 different Program type's..
1. walking
2. walking-jogging
3. Running

you can choose between 3 different fitness leves for each program beginner, intermediate and advanced. Each day the app gives you different training routines, so you don't feel like you are doing the same routine every day. The App also increases the intensity of the workout by itself slowly over time. It also has a voice that guides you through the whole workout (it doesn't speak through the whole workout, if it gives you now to run for 3 minutes, the voice tells you how much time you have left).

I find the App really usefull, because one of the things that I hate in workouts, is getting stuck doing the same thing over and over, I like to change it up from time to time.

Hey there Michael!

I found my way also to your diary. Keep updating your daily routines to us, and you will see how encouraging place this can be! We're all here for each other to support. Weightloss is the most hardest things in life, thats just the way it is.. And it took me a while to get how you really must change the whole direction of your life -> healthy lifestyle. Otherwise the weight will yo-yo and it becomes the lose and gain play.

There is SO MUCH information online you can just google and get.. So it isnt difficult to search for info about weightloss (like how to eat healthy, how much calories you should eat etc..) Nowadays many things are possible cos of internet! :)

Anyway, I just wanted to let you know Im also here for you. Later! xoxo

thanks for you kind words eerikam, as for me my training has gone pretty good this last week, and am hoping for a atleast a 1kg loss. next week I am going to start adding a little extra to my workouts, and go for 6 days of training.

For the last couple of days I have been getting cravings (not for anything in particular), so instead of eating everything in the house, I just ate a little more healthy food than I usually would. really wish there was a way to get rid of the cravings. just gotta get throught these slow weeks, and push through it.

AFinished my week 4 workout, and today was a real killer. I am on day 2 of the 9 week workout on the active sports 2, and After 25 minutes on that, and another 45 minutes on the treadmill, my legs are are killing me ( but in a good way).

Hope to get in a good loss this week after working my ass off, at least 1kg anything above that is a bonus. I will weigh myself on Sunday morning and hope for the best.

Sounds like you're doing really well! Im heading to the body pump class myself today after almost 3 weeks of NOT working out, I bet I will die to the class! ;))

Ive noticed that exercising makes the whole weight loss process much faster, and also shapes your body more toned..

The progress photos of you was looking stunning! Dont give up! :)

lol I didn't post any progress photos yet, but I will soon (maybe), I didn't take a picture before I started to diet and workout, so I am looking for something that is close enough.

Anyway today I weighed in and lost another 1.4kg (3 lbs), wich brings my current weight down to 123.4kg (272 lbs).

so far total loss 6.6kg (14.5 lbs)

hope to keep losing this much every week but we shall see. if anyone is interested in what I had for lunch today, I had this all mixed together with a bit of soy sauce and a salad.

AOh YOU DIDNT?! What photos I was looking yesterday then.. I thought I found your progress photos from here! I must be mistaken then :)

ASo far this week my training has been going pretty good, except for the fact that I started doing lunges and squats so my legs are killing me. I couldn't run for long with the pain in my legs so I had to mostly walk on my treadmill, but I hope that the pain will get better with time.

Anyway off topic but last month my first niece came to the world weighing 3.870 kg (which is a lot), but at almost 2 months old she is already turning into the cutest thing ever, and she is quite a handful (for my brother that is :) ).

AOh, sorry to hear about the leg. But you're doing the right thing not running, just take it easy.. Otherwise it gets worse!

When I was born, I weighed 4.900 kg and Ive always been normal weighed, until last few years when I gained some EXTRA.. :D But your niece isnt big at all :D And Im a nurse student also saying this :D

She was the biggest baby there, all the other babies looked like little dolls next to her.

A:hurray: Woohoo :hurray: baby, another 1.7kg loss this week, I am down to 121.7kg and close to passing the 120's. Did I mention that this weigh in was BEFORE my workout today. Felt Like I had to post it now because after tomorrow's BBQ :drool5: , I think I might gain all the weight I lost back and I will be looking something like this :ack2:

So anyway have a great weekend guys and don't forget to have some fun, and remember "don't Drink and Eat" you don't know at what weight you might wake up at.

AGongrats my friend, awesome!!! You will pass 120's SOON! I wish you wont enjoy at the BBQ over your limits.. ;) It is the worst feeling to lose and gain it back.. and then lose it AGAIN!

Ive been struggling today a bit with my eatings, cos Ive had more time to think about eating (didnt have school today).. So Im eating here few hundred exta calories right now for evening meal, but I tried to make good choices.. Used to I had huuuuuuge amount of candy for friday evening, now Im enjoyinh my rasphberry quark and rye crisp with ham and tomatoes! :D So maybe I aloud it for myself. :D

ACongrats on your loss this week!! :hurray: You're doing great! Enjoy your BBQ.....but don't make yourself sick..lol! :)

AA new week has started and it's time to kick some fat ass weight away. My legs and body are feeling great so I should be able to go 100% this week, and work hard for another good loss.

Also the BBQ didn't go to bad, I treated myself to some good meat but didn't over do it.

Have to work hard these next 2 weeks to get under 120kg, and I will reach my first mini goal.

AAfter 2 good days of training, I started having this pain in my lower left leg ( below me calf), and so I can't really do 100% of my training. All I can do is walking at a slow pace on my treadmill, anything other than that and I start feeling sharp pains.

I just hope this is something temporary, and nothing serious. I just wish that I had a bike that I could work on, or an elliptical. I will have to take it easy, and if it doesn't get better till next week I will go see my doctor.

You might not have known this, but at the end of September we are celebrating the Jewish new year, and I am hoping to lose as much weight before that, before my whole family comes together for that.

ASo after not being able to workout for most of the week, my weight hasn't changed and stayed at 121.7kg (thankfully it didn't go up). I still have a little pain in my left leg but it feels a lot better now, so I figure that it will pass in a couple of days.

On another note, for those of you who are Science fiction fans and haven't seen "Tron: Legacy" yet, I highly recommend that you see it ASAP. First of all if you are a Jeff bridges fan, you are going to love him in this movie, he brings out "the dude" from the big lebowski, and if you haven't known till now, he is really like that in real life. Another great thing about the movie (and what really brought me back to see this movie for a 2nd and 3rd time) is the soundtrack. Daft Punk did the whole soundtrack for the movie (other than 2 songs at the beginning), and I must say it is one of the best Soundtracks ever made. Every song fits perfect with the each Scene, and if you like to collect music or soundtracks, than this is a MUST HAVE soundtrack.

So for those that haven't seen the movie yet, I highly recommend this.
