Lukewarm's Weight Loss Diary

Yeah Claudia is stunning. She doesn't acknowledge that ever though does she! Oh my gosh PLEASE COME VISIT! Right now (or whenever :)) the weather is beautiful and we would have FUN! I think we might have a lot in common!

Doesn't C have a condo in Florida?? I know she was trying to rent it, but I wonder if she can just waltz in and stay there when she wants?? We'd have a WHOLE lot of fun and we could weight train, ha ha ha ha....I'm always pushing it. I started not really liking it as much as I did BUT I'm determined to do it twice a week because there's no denying, it makes you look hot, no doubt about it!

I dont want her feeling unattractive EVER because she is so very cute and one day, SEVERAL years down the road that will become more and more apparent and she'll wish she had felt better about herself then. Like when I used to feel fat at my goal weight when now I just wish I could get back there. Ha ha. One day.

And you girls both come visit me as well. Val, I know you personally like couches and I have a large sectional for you to sleep.

I get it!! And DAMN I just found out you turned 39 in Kim's diary!!!:eek: I really do want to visit...I need to see what my immediate future holds before I can commit to anything, there's a lot going on and everything is uncertain, but my challenge is facing it with courage!! Rrrrow!

Bartending is actually far more strenuous than you might initially think, and I know I get worn out.

As a person who frequents bars far too often (but not THIS week!) I totally understand. Some bars out here in S.C. are NUTZ on Fridays!!!:eek: I'd say some days you could probably eat 2000 calories and still lose, but that's for you and Leigh to decide, of course.

except I do have a prof that says 'mmmkay?' like Mr. Garrison (Southpark) which drives me crazy.

[but I WAS STRONG! I resisted! HELL YEAH! I used to eat all of the appetizers at work, garlic bread, etc...but it really doesn't enter my head any longer. I mean it does still look delicious, but not enough for me to order it. That's a big step in my opinion. I just feel in control! This is fabulous. I'm loving school, my job, my mind...what a good time for me.

[My diary always turns into a full life diary rather than just a weight loss log, but since every aspect of my life is connected to my progress in some form, I think it's really helpful for me to rant. Thanks ;)

I know exactly how you feel, as you well know by now!! I can hardly believe that you're able to do all your daily stuff AND read our diaries!! WOW!!

No hotties in any of your classes? You must be turning some heads this semester!

LOL!!! Leave it to Claudia to ask that!! Sorry there aren't a lot of hot guys, but I'm looking forward to when you DO find one...and when you do, run over to my diary and tell me if I can't read it first, promise?!?! Or when ANYTHING important happens, I really want to stay up on my WLF friends but its rough sometimes.

Great job on the weights, and YES plank is tough, I shake too. Psycho Michael makes us do regular, then stay in that position and lift our left arm, then switch to right arm, then left leg, then right arm...ain't bobody can do it, sheesh! 15 seconds on each one....

ANYWAY, take care of yourself, rest if you get too tired or you might get REAL sick, and good luck with the Mr Garrison-esque professor gettin on your nerves!!!

it was so nice coming into your diary and see all this positivity. i'm so happy things are going great for you sara :D

and its great you are sticking to the weights. i've learned to like them (not all the time lol) and now when i didn't do any weight training for almost 2 weeks i feel really lazy and i'm craving some hard exercise, especially weights.

I bet you are just so busy with school and bartending and *hopefully* some really nice, hot guy ;)

Just want to let you know that when you come back, don't worry yourself with our diaries, we know you're there for us and we know how busy you are. I'll let you know that I did great this past week and I did weight training 3xs! In addition to running 3xs!! And last night me and the BF reconciled and it went well and we're going to continue being an item for now. Ok, there, now you don't have to feel obligated to read! ;) I'm messin with you, even if you never come back we'll all be glad we had Sara on WLF for at least as long as you were. We love you!!!:beating:
 
I love all of you. Thank you for being so understanding. I really want to crawl back in bed right now because I'm fully exhausted from this weekend. I have to get ready for work in about 10 minutes though so I just have time for a quick update. I made a much needed $400 in the past 3 days though so at least my rent check won't bounce. 14 hour work days are not something I'm used to at the moment. I'm coming to all of your diaries TONIGHT I swear to God, I have been wondering for DAYS how you are all doing, oh and quickly, Val I'm so happy for you! I weighed 145 this morning, 4 pounds down from 149. I've been doing all of my workouts, except I missed my weight training before my spinning class on Saturday. I've been doing well keeping to my calorie intake, the only thing I'm not doing well on is coming here and updating. This week my goal is to manage my time so that I have an hour each day to come on WLF and post, because I need it, and I miss you! Alright starting today, I'm going to be back and posting regularly.

Its great to hear from you Sara. Usually the first few weeks of a new schedule are the most difficult and after that you'll adapt and have some more time for leisure activities like coming on WLF.

I cannot believe you dropped another 4 pounds! Was that in one week?! You are doing astoundingly well my dear :). I cannot believe you've kept up all the working out notwithstanding your new and very hectic schedule. I'm a total wimp when it comes to business, and the work outs are the first to get "deleted" from my schedule. Bad bad bad. I'm so proud of your determination and its all paying off for you isnt it!
 
Great Job on hitting 145!!!!! That is so awesome. You have come so far. Your successes are great motivation. Keep up the good work. Guess we are both working on Labor Day :mad: Oh well....

Yay 145 :) well done! 14h days sounds hectic tho, esp with all these workouts! Maybe you should take 2 days off and chilll.... You're obviously very motivated though - very impressed :)

Woohoo on 145! That's amazing! I've been a bad girl and haven't come by and visited your diary recently, and I really should have. You're doing so well now that I'm totally left behind in the dust! But no longer! VB has started and I'm going to lose 30lbs in 2 and a half months! see if I don't! :D

Val Thank you! YES! I'm at a healthy BMI! I'm so happy. I met a girl last night that's totally cool, she reminds me of you!

Claudia It was in one week, BUT I hadn't lost any weight for the two weeks prior to that, so Leigh predicted that my body would hover for a little while to regain balance, and then like she predicted, I dropped the 4 in the 3rd week. I am so busy right now (and I think you're right, it's just going to take some time to fully adjust to the new schedule) that I am going to accept that I don't have time to post food. If I don't feel obligated to post the food then I will have more time to come on here and see how everyone is doing.

Sam Well I hope you had a nice Labor Day besides having to work! I am so happy that you've come and said hello, I can't wait to come over and visit you to see how you've been progressing!

Lula Thank you so much! It is hectic, I actually had a moment at work last night where I had to sit down, and literally catch my breath. I love my Kashi Go Lean, I eat it every single day with frozen raspberries and light soy milk. Part of the reason that I'm not posting my food so much is because I eat the same thing every day. And I mean every day. I know the portions and I hardly think about it. I actually have a harder time stopping myself from eating more on the days where I'm just home studying and going to school.

Kim *transmitting weight loss virus to OK* I see your ticker though, you don't need any of mine, you're doing a fabulous job yourself. I hope you're doing well! I'm over halfway to my goal! I'm ecstatic!

Xorie You have NOT been left in the dust! You know that's not what this is about, you're going to be losing the weight very quickly, I'm simply know it, now that you're back in volleyball and working hard. I'm proud of you for not giving up Jacqui, you can do this.
 
Okay I am just quickly updating. I have lost one more pound, I'm now at 144 down from 145. I have to work in an hour and still have to wash my stuff. I'm so tired you guys! I hope you're all NOT as busy as I am, but I'm sure that you all are, and I will be visiting your diaries tonight or TOMORROW. I just want to crawl back in bed. I'm not posting my food. For obvious reasons, and also because I really do eat the same thing every single day. I've increased my dumbbell weights to 15 lbs for my bicep curls and everything else so I think that's pretty cool. I'm struggling to finish all the reps however, but I am making sure to still perform the exercise correctly. I did go out for a few drinks last night after my heinous day/night at work (4 heinekens, I know I know, BAD!) But I feel good that I made some new friends. I also may have scored an extra lucrative bartending gig a couple times a month. For weddings and scheduled parties, things like that. AND I HAVE THE BEST NON WEIGHT RELATED NEWS IN THE WORLD!!!!!! Guess who has tickets to see BOB DYLAN AND Elvis Costello in Georgia on the 22nd!!!!! ME!!!!! It's so incredible. I'm so thrilled I can hardly type. I have Costello in my record player and Dylan in my truck, and then I just happen to come into the possession of such amazing tickets! Life is perfect for me right now. I can't wait to come and visit all of you, I'm very sorry I've been so totally selfish the past couple weeks. I'm going to be much better. I do feel a little more settled right now, but I do have to get ready for work. And I have to go buy a new phone because I dropped mine in the sink last night. OK I hope you're all doing well and I'll talk to you all soon!
 
Your right, it sounds like everything is going VERY good for you right now, ENJOY ever second of it!! And don't think about us here, we will all still be here for you when you have the time. We all just wish we can be as lucky as you are currently, so relish in it!! :D WOW that is going to be an awesome concert, you LUCKY, LUCKY girl!! ** thanks sending along the weight loss virus** I hope it works!
