Lukewarm's Weight Loss Diary

Girl you look great - damn!!! If I looked like you Id be one happy momma:D:D:DIm glad all is going well and you have lots of reasons to be proud!!!

Blancita Thank you! When you say 'so tiny' it feels so nice. I want to get tini-er. You know I just looked in the mirror the other day when I was wearing my swimsuit, and my legs are not great YET by any means, but I really think that they look good, for my current weight/body type and all. Truthfully I think you look fabulous at your current weight, but I know that when I get there too, I'll want to continue pushing on. I don't want to lose my ass either, although I don't think it's going anywhere. I like the curvy look as well...there's no use in fighting it!

Cinder You are beautiful you should be very happy to look the way you do! Thanks so much as always, I'm sorry it took me so long to come over and check on you by the way :( I tried to last night but my ridiculous internet gave out on me.

Leigh asked me what my 3 goals for the rest of August are and I said this:

1) Lose 2-3 more pounds
2) Formulate a schedule that incorporates classes/exercise/dieting/work/grocery shopping/cleaning/studying.
3) Devise a diet where I do NOT have to think about it and can just grab and go.

This could involve cooking on Sundays for the entire week, seeing as how it is my rest day and I will be working on Sunday nights so it could be the best use of my Sunday morning. I also asked her if she is lowering my caloric range now that I weigh less. I'll let yall know what my new program is when she is finished. OKAY have a beautiful day everyone I hope you're all doing well! :)

YEPPER DOO!! I see some major changes in your new pictures. AWESOME JOB sister! I'm so proud of you!! You are so very pretty Sara. Oh man, oh man those boys are going to be drooling over you, instead of studying that's for sure!! It's good to see your still spinning, keep it up my friend, it's working!!! Your going to be in the 130's in NO TIME!! ahhhhh, how wonderful!!
Kim

Val You are so sweet. Thanks so much :hug2:

Kim Thanks for the support my friend :hug2:

I received my weights routine for the next 2-4 weeks from Leigh this afternoon, and she has me doing the following, but she wants me to begin supersetting, which means I can rest only after completing two consecutive exercises. School starts in 3 days...I'm really anxious for it to begin. My home is so organized at the moment, and I feel prepared. I also was looking in the mirror last night and the nagging insecurities started to infiltrate my head so I did a closet overhaul. I took down all the clothes that no longer fit me and replaced everything with stuff I haven't fit into in years, new clothes I've bought recently, and I must say that doing so helped me out. There's something really wonderful about slipping on a pair of jeans that used to be too tight on you 2 years before. I'm feeling good again ;) Ready to knock off a couple more pounds before September if everything goes well.

WOW!!! I missed a lot when I stopped dropping by here so much!! You have done wonderfully!!! You look amazing and congrats on getting new cloths and fitting into your old ones!! I can't believe you were where I was just like a month ago! Yay!!!!! You are definately inspiring me for that last 15lbs of mine! Good luck getting to 125~!! I am sure you will do wonderfully and will be there before you know it. Don't let negative thoughts get you down. You really look amazing!!!!!

Good job Sara. And you really must stop being hard on yourself. I mean I was really shocked when I saw how gorgeous you are. If I were you, I'd be quite confident and for very good reason. Enjoy your beauty and note that you have it because it'll fade and you'll look back thinking why did I not see the beauty that was in the mirror? And I couldn't say this to everyone because not everyone's as gorgeous as you.

So did you ever hear from Cym? It seems she's disappeared without a goodbye. Hope nothing on here upset her or anything. I assume she got busy or bored with the whole thing.

TTYL.

Mishi and Claudia are right on, Sara--looking great and what you did really is a very positive thing to do--getting rid of old clothes is more emo than we realize sometimes!! I really am glad you're still doing weight training and I hope you keep it up. Take care!:hug2:

Mishi You are an incredible inspiration for ME! I'm so much more motivated after your (and Blancita's and Valerie's) comments, thank you so much.

Blancita Never in my life has someone said such nice things, I'm floored but I'm just going to say thank you, and THANK YOU, even when things are going well for me it's still great to have such support.

Valerie It felt great to tuck away the clothes that I swear I'll never fit in again. To see clothes hanging that were the source of depression 5 months ago are now a source of happiness. It's wonderful. It's important to keep pushing forward though, I can't get off track. Thank you.

:hug2: :hug2: :hug2: :hug2: :hug2: :hug2: :hug2: :hug2:

Also Claudia, I did message Cym the other day, and she said that she feels so on top of her food and habits at the moment that it's now ingrained in her. Sort of like brushing her teeth, so she's not posting regularly any longer... :( at least that's what I think she said. And plus with her new job you know...she's busy, but I miss her already too

Hey honey you still on here?!?! :D :D

I just realized Claud said "it'll fade" as in beauty, how cute is that?!?! HOW OLD IS SHE?? Like barely any older than 25?? Come on Sweetheart!!! She's beautiful, too! Can ya feel me? Anyway, have a fantastic evening and you better invite me to Florida, I"m seriously considering jumping on a plane and getting soome travelling out of my system!!

Yeah Claudia is stunning. She doesn't acknowledge that ever though does she! Oh my gosh PLEASE COME VISIT! Right now (or whenever :)) the weather is beautiful and we would have FUN! I think we might have a lot in common!

LOL. You all are too funny :). Val, I think she's even younger (like 21), but I dont want her feeling unattractive EVER because she is so very cute and one day, SEVERAL years down the road that will become more and more apparent and she'll wish she had felt better about herself then. Like when I used to feel fat at my goal weight when now I just wish I could get back there. Ha ha. One day.

And you girls both come visit me as well. Val, I know you personally like couches and I have a large sectional for you to sleep.

Nah, I'm not conceited but I think I look pretty good much of the time (when I'm not having a fat day or letting my hair go too long before styling again). Especially after some water weight depletes out of my body like it did from yesterday's low calorie day. I'm looking quite good this morning .

I'm so glad to hear she's doing well. She was an interesting person and I hope she comes back sometime to keep us updated.

Blancita I think that one day you will wish you never extended the offer because I really am going to hound you sometime about it. It's only one of my dreams to visit THE city! LOL and I love that you have a healthy self-image, you certainly should! I do actually agree about how we need to be happy in the moment and I should enjoy the fact that yes I'm 22 at the moment. That's one of the reasons I want to get my weight under control now, I would love to have to maintain for the rest of my life rather than trying to reach an elusive number. Cym is so interesting, it's definitely a bummer, I'm just so happy I was around for a while when she was because I learned a lot from her.

-Sunday: AM cardio PM work

Leigh sent me my new schedule today and Thurs/Fri are my rest days (2 rest days!). I am INCREASING my caloric intake by 100 cals each day. She told me not to worry and that this would help me in the long run. Of course I believe her, and she's right because my activity level is about to increase dramatically. Bartending is actually far more strenuous than you might initially think, and I know I get worn out. I think I might pick up a serving shift as well, it's still good money, and I have that drive again! So...

-Rest days: 1400
-Aerobic days: 1500-1550
-Weight days: 1700-1750

Mal You must have bartended as well? I remember you talking about a good scotch once in a thread, but I also remember in the same breadth you said that you choose not to drink. Anyways I do completely agree, the thing I enjoy most about it is that the hours fly by, and by the end of the night, I'm still laughing and it never felt like work for one moment. Until I have to mop the sticky floor.

Drunks paid for part of my college education :) I bartendeded my way thru college... and had great biceps from lugging kegs of beer up a very steep flight of stairs :)

Alcohol has lost it's appeal to me over the past few years... and will very rarely drink...

Mal I'm looking forward to nice arms too ;) The job is physical and I have missed that. Yeah I have to make sure I've got next semester's tuition by Christmastime...wish me good luck...or rather good tips!

I was kind of sick yesterday. I managed to get a lot done but I underate. Today was my first day of school. My first three professors are fantastic, except I do have a prof that says 'mmmkay?' like Mr. Garrison (Southpark) which drives me crazy. I have my French course in a few hours. I'm so excited, I can hardly stand it. Today is supposed to be a rest day but...I am thinking about going to the gym and using the elliptical. I feel like I need it, I'm feeling tired and I have a 4 hour class at 5:30, so maybe I'll run there and get my heartrate up for a little while. Tomorrow is my first real shift back at work, I'm being smart about it this time around though. I am firm with my managers, and will not be working any more than I've proposed, I've bought 3 changes of work uniforms so that I don't HAVE to do laundry after each shift, I've invested in great shoes, and my planner is filled out all the way until January. I'm doing things the right way this year. I hope you're all doing well, I have to run but I will check diaries either tomorrow or Saturday morning.

Hey there,
I know I haven't popped in to say hi in a while. Looks like you've been doing well. Sorry to hear you were feeling under the weather. I hope everything goes well with your first day in school.

I think I'd go crazy too if I had a prof that sounded like Mr. Garrison. Hahaha
