The pics are lovely. Thank you for posting the lasagne recipe, will give it a try in the next few weeks. I have the dentist this week also, dreading it! It's with the hygienist who is a lot meaner than my dentist and always tells me to quit smoking. She's right of course!

Hope you like the lasagna, I use my husband as a normal person opinion on my food and he loved it hahaha. Also I actually quite like the dentist and I LOVE my hygienist. It's a 40min drive but I won't change who I see. Almost feels like a salon treatment, they put a warm eye mask on and give you an ipod to listen to while they clean and shes so gentle with my sensitive braces teeth.

Was terrifying watching it all come off but I love it!! Also my old blonde that I havent had done since Nov seems to blend with my darker roots pretty well so I'm not too stressed about hurrying off to get it coloured right away. It has so much volume and is so bouncy at this length!

Not much on for today, grocery shopping tonight and then husband leaves for Sydney at 4.30 am tomorrow. Ahhhh. Also today will be a day of soft foods as I couldn't even smile for a selfie my teeth hurt so much.

Today's foody food

Breakfast (446)- 35g oats with 180g almond milk, 1 egg, sweetener, vanilla, 12g peanut flour. Then I mixed together 20g smooth peanut butter and 10g honey and kind of swirled it through. Ah it was amazing.

Snack (156)- Protein pudding and BCAAs

Lunch (577)- 515g light potatoes cooked with 10g butter as chips (air fryer), salmon, steamfresh veg, 5g sriracha

Snack (106)- 210g strawberries, light jelly, kombucha

Dinner (331)- Yopro vanilla (got this on sale instead of the usual chobani and its soooooo much nicer. Going to stock up today), La Zuppa ginger and carrot soup, 2 pieces bread

Totals 1616 calories, 162 carb, 51 fat, 102 protein

Weigh in tomorrow! Ending the week on a 1598 calorie average so almost spot on my 1600 calorie goal! Going to stick with 1600 again next week.

Didn't do much today, just watching more disturbing Netflix documentaries and getting organised for shopping (ya know, throwing out random leftovers from last fortnight I forgot about to make room in the fridge lol). Moved some groceries around too, I had to make myself a designated snack drawer as my Catch order came and it takes up an obscene amount of room. Won't need any protein snacks till the end of the year though!!

Oh man, I wouldn't mind going to see that hygienist myself!

Your hair is stunning. The curls are so lovely. The blonde looks like it was applied that way by design!

Thanks Emily!!!

Just dropping in quickly, weight was 62.5kg. I think my high calorie day might be a bit close to my weigh in day as it usually takes about 3 days for me to get rid of extra fluid so I might have to change weigh in day to Thursday. I'll weigh tomorrow and see.

Got some great fun things grocery shopping last night, really tiny cute packs of mini choc covered rice cakes and pizza flavoured puffed fava beans haha. Keepin my snacks exciting.

Husband is on a plane to Sydney now so all alone for a couple of days.

Will come back and do a proper food post and catch up on diaries later!

I like the sound of pizza flavored fava beans. I like it a LOT.

Me tooooo!!! Only 81cals in a pack and 6g protein too. Will try them in a couple of days when I can handle a bit more crunch.

Today's noms

Breakfast (446)- exact same oats as yesterday with the pb/honey sauce. So good.

Snack (171)- cheesy quinoa puffs, banana yopro

Lunch (527)- yeaaaa had fish n chips again. Slightly less potato than yesterday

Snack (37)- light jelly, kombucha

Dinner (383)- beef and veg soup, sandwich with gherkin dip and pastrami (sounds funky but is one of my fave things ever hahahaha. Was hard to eat with the tooth situation though)

Totals 1564 calories, 140 carb, 55 fat, 104 protein

Having more trouble eating today as I think husband took the nurofen with him on his trip so just sucking up the pain haha. Did mean I had to break my sandwich up into tiny little pieces but it was what I felt like eating, dammit!

Honestly have nothing exciting to say today... :waving:

I thought that sandwich sounded pretty exciting :p

:rotflmao:

-----------------------------------------

62.1kg today so much better than yesterday. Slowly ticking down. I don't think I'll see a loss for the next few weeks (at least) though as I start my new pill today. Pretty sure when I started the last one I gained 2kgs in fluid overnight and didn't lose it till the sugar pill week. So I'll keep weighing in and plugging away, secretly hoping it won't affect me at all but life doesn't work like that.

Todaaaaaay

Breakfast (421)- French toast! I make it with the really cheap home brand raisin toast, dip it in a mix of 2 eggs, 30g light cream cheese, cinnamon and stevia, then cook. Also had 10g butter.

Snack (265)- protein balls and pizza flavoured fava beans. I was too ambitious with this snack, took me about half an hour to eat it with my stupid teeth. Oops.

Lunch (378)- beef and veg soup, sandwich with pastrami and gherkin dip (I'm not weird, you're weird)

Snack (39)- light jelly and kombucha

Dinner (446)- 250g raw weight lite potatoes mashed with 20g milk and 5g butter, 100g chicken breast, steamfresh veg, 1 serve gravy (this is the best comfort food)

Totals 1549 calories, 132 carb, 47 fat, 116 protein

Husband gets home tonight, yay! From what I heard he surprised himself by really enjoying meeting a lot of people at the national head office.

I'd normally have physio tomorrow but its on Sunday this week instead to match Ashs day off as he has an appointment with him too.

Kind of already planned out high calorie day according to cravings, I'm sure you'll all be surprised to know that my main meal will be ice-cream lol.

Enjoy having your husband back. Any plans this weekend?

Not sure yet. We both have physio on Sunday morning, I think that might be a lazy day after. I think we are planning to get coffee and walk around the river one day too, maybe Monday. If we do much more than that it'll be random and unplanned haha. Oh actually I think he might be picking up Overcooked 2 as well for the playstation so will likely play that. So much fun.

Breakfast (422)- protein pancakes with sugar free maple syrup and 20g smooth peanut butter

Snack (243)- fibre bar and quinoa puffs

Lunch (446)- same as dinner last night (chicken, veg, mash)

Snack (39)- light jelly and kombucha

Dinner (370)- mushroom soup, yopro (I love this stuff), 2 rice cakes with 20g pickle dip

Totals 1520 calories, 124 carb, 58 fat, 100 protein

Dinner was a bit random but I'm trying to get through all the fresh soups I bought as they have a short shelf life. Some of my teeth are still pretty sore, I've been breaking up things like crackers and using my back teeth to break them up haha.

Well hey, its Friday. Whaaaaat. Feels like summer. Actually might need to change my walking route soon which is annoying but snakes have been sighted and theres signs going up about maggies swooping so might have to walk where theres no bush. It's not even spring yet and its summer hahaha. Walk time actually goes up to 45mins tomorrow so I might stick with it another week and then sort something new out.

And that, my friends, is why I don't live in Australia. :p

Hahaha is it silly that I'm way more terrified of magpies than snakes?? I feel like magpies seek you out and snakes just want to get away from you. Also, I have only encountered a snake like once in my whole life walking around (was only last year actually and I only know it was there as my dad pointed it out) but I probably get swooped most seasons. Usually I start walking around with an umbrella to protect my head hahaha.

Magpies are definitely scarier than snakes. We don't get many here & I have never been swooped in Tassie. I have only ever seen 3 snakes in the bush in my life. They want to get away from you quick smart. Have a lovely weekend, Lucy.
