Calories ended up a bit higher than I was aiming for over the weekend. I'll have to be a bit tighter on calories next week to reach this months target but 100% doable, already made my meal plan. Here is what a junk food-y day looks like when I'm being strict...
100% worth it at the time but then I feel completely starving for the next day or two even though it's more than my daily average calorie goal and I return to normal food straight away. I LOVE ice-cream so much but honestly... 1000cals I could make a huge pile of chips, have some (not as good but still good) halo top, and still have room for cheese and pickles lol.
Husband had 3 days off this week instead of 2 as his roster is going back to what it was so that's been nice!! We have a weird fascination with independent supermarkets and on Friday went hopping between Aldi and a few IGA stores. Can always find fun and weird food and bits and pieces, got some interesting kombucha flavours (like watermelon above). Yea it's a weird thing to do for fun haha. He manages a huge supermarket for work though and I just really like food so I think we both like it for inspiration in different ways. Saturday we went to a burger joint that had just opened and the queue was insane, 30mins in line then 20mins waiting for food for a mediocre fast food burger. Ahhhhhhh. Binge watched a TV show that afternoon.
Sunday I caught up with a friend I haven't seen for a while and got Mexican food for lunch, MUCH higher calorie day because I saw nacho fries and my brain screamed YES. I think it was 1930 for the day yesterday? I'm so glad to be back to normal food today!!
