I think Lady Gaga is talented! When I first heard her it was the song "Poker face"I was like....:-O who is this.

I'm into trance/techno/etc I also like rock, reggae...and world music. And I also looove to dance whenever I go out :p but that is so seldom these days :p

Glad to see that your weight went down...TOM is a :cuss: :p

@ Xenon: Thanks Xenon :D I actually listen to pretty much anything, but something about 90s music I just love lol. Lady Gaga is touring Australia right now, and I couldn't afford to go!!!!! SOOOO upset. Think she's in Perth in a week or two... It sucks cuz we live walking distance from the Burswood Dome (it's Perths huge entertainment complex/casino/ 5 star hotel) So if we'd gotten tickets parking wouldn't have even been an issue! Totally SPEWING! I've never been to a concert before!

Nooooooo I'm still a bit sniffly!! It could be me reacting to my kitties- does still happen sometimes- but really worried it's a cold!! Can't even go to the shop yet, it's Sunday and they don't open till 11am. Grrrrr stupid Perth!!!!

I hope you feel better and it is only allergies. Whenever I feel as if I am getting sick I load up on Vitamin C, echinacea and paracetamol :D

Hehe I have two, a ragdoll called Sookie and a Scottish Fold called Teddie :) Sookie is a lazy chubby ball of fluff and if you sit ANYWHERE in our house she will sit on you lol. And Teddie is the weirdest, spazziest animal I have ever come across (which is funny, I've had 2 people tell me that if I were a cat, I would be her lol....wonder what they are trying to tell me?) She sleeps flat on her back in the middle of the cold hard floor, her favourite thing to do is pull herself round on her belly under the chair legs, and if she's ever sitting, 9 times out of 10 she sits like a human. I have actually never been able to catch this with my camera... until YESTERDAY... so here she is for your entertainment lol (scuse the dodge quality, it's the camera on my phone)

Bought this months Healthy Food mag when I went shopping, got some awesome recipes in there this month!!! Including something I want to try for breakfast as a variation on the wraps I make... it's a baked tortilla with beans n tuna n cheese and all sorts of veg, YUM! Good dinner recipes too :) I prefer getting recipes out of magazines cuz recipe books don't usually have nutritional info, and I seriously can't be bothered working it out myself lol.
 
Starting to feel pretty bleh, my nose keeps clogging up!!! NOOOO!!!!! Going to make my gym sesh tomorrow morning a bit harder I think!
Food changed slightly today, I had a protein shake with water after my jog this morning (did 4.399 kms, just kept it on 9km/h so nice and leisurely. Drop it to 7km/h for 1 min after every 10mins so I can have a drink of water and wipe myself with my gym towel lol) Also my pineapple half was only 1 cup when I diced it up.
Soooo calories today were 1769 which is ok, apart from my walk and my jog all I did was sit around lol so only burned 2722.
Oooo trying out a couple of recipes in the mag I got, will let you know how I go!!!

What character! lolol It sounds like you have two cute and fun kitties :D I once took in a stray when she was pregnant and when the kittens got old enough they used to climb me lolol
 
Oh good on you!! I wish so badly there were more people in this world willing to take in a needy animal someone has dumped. It makes me soooo sad seeing overflowing animal shelters and hearing about how many of the poor things are getting put down every week. You have an absolute heart of gold!

Well last night I felt like absolute crap, had a really dodgy sleep but woke up at 5:30 this morning for my gym sesh feeling normal lol. Really hard session today, did 25kg bench presses then drop sets with 15kg... lots of squats and lunges and a terrible version of sit ups with a squishy thing behind my back so I can't lie the whole way down. It was pain lol. Trainer said I'm one of his easiest clients though, apparently I'm easy to train because I don't argue and I try everything. So good on me :sifone:
Feeling a bit sniffly again now I'm sitting down though, having my olive leaf before every meal I think that's holding it back a lot.
OOOOOOOO Excitement!! I've been hunting everywhere for this recipe book I lost since we moved up here... I found it last night, every single recipe is AMAZING and has nutritional info on it, also has a little blurb about each one saying the extra vitamins etc in it!!! I'm setting myself a challenge: Going to cook my way through the entire book to get more variety in my diet, also to get Ash to try new foods (cuz if I'm cooking it he HAS to eat it) Get to improve my cooking skills along the way too!! Going to get some stickers today- just coloured dots- so when I've made a recipe I can stick a dot on it as to whether it was good or not. Also I'm going to start making Sunday 'dessert day'... so on Sundays I'll be making dessert and having some (in my calorie count of course!! the book has a great dessert section) They're pretty small too so what I can see happening is I'll have one serve and Ash will eat all the rest of it in the same night lol. I promise to post any recipes I find extra amazing!! I mean I eat really healthy now but it is pretty much the same thing every day. So WOOOO Challenge on!!

Well on todays menu:
Pre-gym snack: 4 vita weats, cottage cheese, protein shake with skim milk
Breakfast: Toasted sandwich with 2 pieces cheese, 1 egg, tomato, 1 cup spinach
Snack: Banana, fruity oat slice
Lunch: Sandwich with 97%ff deli ham, tomato, 1 cup spinach
Snack: 1 apple, homemade blueberry muffin
Dinner: Nandos medditeranean salad with chicken (hot)

Yea so a bit of takeaway tonight, but it's all healthy :) Exercise is 1hr walk and gym this morning (which I think is going to make the rest of the day hurt, I can barely lift my arms!!!)
 
Today finished really well :) only thing different was I had a wrap from Nandos, not salad... really needed carbs! Finished calories today was 1970 (was aiming for 1985) sooo yay! So tired all day from my dodgy sleep last night though, I kept feeling hungry but knew I wasn't really... guess I did used to binge a lot when I was tired though! Made a casserole for dinner tomorrow night, smells soooo good!
 
Couldn't sleep again last night!!! I got up after being in bed for about 45mins and took a drowsy tablet cuz couldn't be bothered trying to force myself to sleep. Still a little dopey now but that won't last long! BRING ON THE COFFEE!!!! :drool5:

Todays food plan:
Breakfast- Protein shake with skim milk, soft rye wrap with 1 egg, 2 slices of cheese, tomato, and 1 cup mixed salad greens
Snack- Banana, fruity oat bar
Lunch- Sandwich on wholemeal grain with 97%ff ham, tomato, and 1 cup salad greens
Snack- 2 kiwifruit, homemade blueberry muffin
Dinner- Cottage pie (it's a super healthy version... it's supposed to serve 4 but it's fricken HUGE. I've budgeted for me to eat a quarter though, it's mega bulked with veg but.... still it's massive!!)

Exercise:
My usual 1hr walk, 2.5hrs dancing <---- this is SOO happening tonight and I'm super excited!!!! :biggrinjester: :biggrinjester: :biggrinjester:
 
hehe Xenon! I get soooo frustrated with my hubby cuz hes very much a meat n 3 veg kinda guy, not at ALL interested in trying anything new. I normally cook stuff I know he'll eat but it means I miss out on all my favourite foods! So he can get nicked and eat what I cook dammit :) maybe he'll discover he likes more food than he thinks! I'm hopinh so.
Wow I'm so never taking one of those pills again to help me sleep, I feel so foggy and dopey today! Thought I would've snapped out of it by now but just hasn't happened. Its just after 11am and I've already drunk 1.5L of water thinking I could flush it out but no! Also have the sorest shoulders from that workout yesterday morning so I'm a bit blah. I keep feeling hungry too (when I know I'm not!) but haven't had a particular craving for anything which I'm sooo happy about- feeling particularly weak willed right now! Grr just gotta get through today so I can sleep... Which wont be til late cuz dancing goes til 10pm. O well!
 
Eeeee was a little bit naughty tonight, which is BAD because I don't think I'm dancing anymore!!! (drama drama, might bother posting later if I don't go!) So I only had half a serve of the cottage pie, and was fine but I was baking tonight with dried fruit and got into it bit... OMG 21!? prunes, 5 dried apricots and a small handful of raisins... comes in at a shocking 597cals! Bugger bugger bugger!! Waiting for wade to get back to me bout dancing, if it still happens I'm all good. Who the hell would think that bloody little innocent dried fruit tastes like lollies?? OH and apparently has just as many calories!!! At least they aren't empty ones. Boo!

On another note I'm baking prune and zucchini loaf, which went in the oven actually looking like a carrot cake!!! Not much in it at all, it's zucchini, sultanas, prunes, bit of flour, an egg, some apple juice and a bit of oil. Smells amazing!! But I'm not going to try it lol it's getting cut up into portions and frozen.

Have to add: It's soooo awesome not having junk food in the house, I don't have the opportunity to go on a binge at a weak moment

Hm yea famous last words... that cake *IS* delicious, I know because after being stood up for dancing yet again and my husband missing his bus out of the city... I got bored. And it was staring at me. And so I ate half of it :cuss: I also had two pieces of bread too.... :smash: SOOO todays calories ended up on something obscene, Fitday reckons 3627 and I only burned 2793. BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Always right before weigh in!!! Must be super awesome tomorrow!!!!
 
I'm sure you will be awesome today - you never seem to disapoint! That is the first time in a long time you have gone that much over too so I wouldn't stress - just work harder today! Keep it up your doing great!
 
Aww thanks guys :grouphug: On the plus side, I didn't eat anything that would make me break out... Also eating half that loaf means that my binge included half a zucchini so there's another serve of veg :smilielol5: I'm SOOO posting that recipe later, it was soooo incredibly nice!! Might divide it into muffins next time though, it was a bit crumbly cutting it up.

So woke up early to go for a jog but felt pretty bloated from last night... was tempted to just go back to sleep and jog tonight after work instead... but then felt the sudden overwhelming urge to clean up the house so I won't have to do that tonight. So yea clean house now, yay!!

Todays plan:
Snack: 2 vita weat with cottage cheese
Breakfast: Leftover cauliflower cottage pie (haven't shopped yet, out of bread after making my lunch!!!)
Snack: Banana, Fruity oat bar
Lunch: Sandwich with 97%ff shaved deli chicken breast, tomato, 1 cup mixed salad greens
Snack: 1/4 honeydew melon, homemade blueberry muffin
Dinner: Red lentil lasagne
Post-gym snack: Protein shake with water

ALso going to try to drink 4.5L of water today- would HATE to be retaining fluid for my weigh in tomorrow morning!
Exercise today is a 1hr walk and 30min jog

Ugh so I'm completely out of whack this morning- had a bad night last night... had a definite 'emotional eating' binge last night! Won't go into the emotional side of it but skipped dinner and protein shake, plus my walk home (got a lift) and gym... instead I had 1/2 a block of chocolate, 1/3 of a 500ml tub of icecream (first icecream I have ever eaten that I didn't like!! spew) 1 WHOLE 185g bag of chips, 7 chock chunk premier cookies, and a hot cross bun...!!! Biggest blowout EVER, fitday reckons I ate about 4900cals or something. SOOOOOOOOOOOO don't even care right now!!! Weighed 69.3kgs today, might weigh again on Sat or Sun cuz I know some of it'll be fluid. BOO!

Woke up this morning to the news that our cafe was robbed last night, and I was the one who took the money to the safe last night... so now I'm second guessing myself, I'm sure I put it in there but how do I know I'm not remembering any other night I put it in?? Eeee I would die if I was responsible for someone getting away with it!!!!! :(

Todays plan is pretty much just to get through it without any junk food!!! But I actually do have a food plan (of course!) Today I'm starting my cooking from that book!

Breakfast: Tuna Quesadillas (soooo YUM!!! only 5mins to cook too!! Will post when I get the chance), protein shake with water
Snack: Banana, fruity oat slice
Lunch: Sandwich on wholemeal grain with cheese, tomato and 1 cup mixed salad
Snack: 1/4 honeydew melon, prune and zucchini loaf
Pre-dinner snack: Cannellini bean and chickpea dip with 4 vita weats
Dinner: Penne with meatballs

Exercise: 1hr walk, 1hr group gym sesh.

Gotta go to work!! Will post later!
 
Luz, for your tuna quesedillas do you use fresh or canned tuna?

Sorry to hear that the cafe got robbed! I know I wasn't there but I'm sure you put the money in the safe. I know we second guess ourselves when these sorts of things happen!
