Thanks for the tip

And for the sympathy. I never say no to that.
So... not the greatest day, but no surprises there. My doctor wrote down the wrong time on my appointment card, so I arrived at 8.45 but my appointment was for 9.45. I had planned on breakfast when I got back home... But... well, I did a 'Fuckit', seeing as when I try hard I put on a kilo. So I had a soy latte and a raspberry muffin at the cafe next door while I waited. But since then I've been pretty good.
I went shopping and bought myself lots of low cal snacks, seeing as this is where I fall flat. I have also been thinking that it is time to up my fruit intake (Rainbow the inspirer!

) so I got some tinned fruit with low cals (pear halves, apricot halves and plum halves, all in juice. Wow, it took me AGES to remember the English word for 'plum' then!) and just some v.low cal yoghurt. I found some! Usually there is never low fat dairy in this place!
Also stopped by the Asian store on the way home and restocked on edamame, seeing as I was LOVING those as a snack when I had them. And they are ridiculously healthy. Also grabbed a big sack of basmati, some bok choy, some coriander and a bunch of my fave spices. Ah, that place is the greatest shop in the world.
Did some great writing today, despite being bummed about my ankle. Trying not to think that my life is over now that I can't play netball or do any proper exercise for a while. Well, nothing I enjoy, anyway.

15min cycling, 20 min walk, 3 hours furious novel-typing, and generally feeling sorry for myself (takes a lot of energy, that)
- there's been a lot of talk recently about the big lunch, little dinner thing... I'm thinking about it... or at least no carbs with dinner....
