Losing Weight in the Land of Chocolate and Cheese!

A:grouphug: Big hug x

You have made the right choice, you deserve an award for trying so hard and for so long. YOU ABSOLUTELY HAVE NOT FAILED!!!!!! xxxxxx

Hope his poorly tummy is better now xxxx

:iagree: Joh, you have ABSOLUTELY NOT FAILED! Little Ruben has the best parents in the world & you have persevered where many would have given up long before. I think you will find that there are many more women unable to breast-feed than you are aware of. My Mum was one & I think yours was another. My Mum brought me up to be a happy & very healthy child. I was rarely ill. It would have been very expensive to bottle feed back then & money was scarce so I know she would have given it her best shot too. You, my sweet, are going to be an AWESOME Mum, just like yours. Once the decision is made move on & don't forget to nurture yourself. No punishment. Love, love love yourself Joh. You are not a a failure, you are a lovely person. Sending you lots of love, xoxo Cate

AYOU ARE NOT A FAILURE! You gave it every chance you could...now you are being the best mom possible by giving him what he needs...and just to sooth any worries...my own sons were not breast feed (by choice) and they are loving, affectionate and well adjusted. While it is the ideal nutrition...you will still get that closeness and bonding that you and him need...because you want it so you will make it happen other ways...that is what counts!!

Hang in there Mom...you are doing great!! XOXOX

A:) Thanks, my beatiful friends. I feel so positive about my decision now. I'm still occasionally breastfeeding him, but only out of comfort and not wiith any thought of the milk produced.

Anyway, I lost TWO KILOS!! Being healthy, hot weather and a boy with a bad stomach that requires me always taking him for long walks and jiggling on my feet constantly... it's all added up :) Cool!

I'm back at netball, training to be part of the Swiss team again. Feels great!

Here's me on my way to netbal last week, and here's my gorgeous boy today :)

xxxx :grouphug:

AOooooh that's brilliant! Has your ankle improved loads then? Just promise me you won't be doing any last second, end of tournament, slow motion falls again!!! Bet its great to see the girls on the team again, and it will get you out and about :D

You get the boat to netball as well.... That is totally idyllic :sifone:... hmmmmmmmmmmmm....

Lily's in raptures over how cute Reuben is :)

ALADIES!

I am back. Proper-like ;)

I need a new diary. A post-Ruben diary. This is a very different phase of my life now, and a very different journey, so I'm going to start a-fresh.

But... not everything has changed! So I'm going to call it 'Losing baby-weight in the land of chocolate and cheese'.

Miss you all, and looking forward to doing this!

xxx

P.S. Can't resist... here is Ruben now, six months old! What a big, beautiful happy boy I have!

AAwww, love his outfit! He is such a cutie.

He looks equally like both you and Duncan as well, usually its one parent or the other.

I shall go and find your new diary :) And be lurky around it.
