Looking to lose an extra human I apparently picked up along the way

239 this morning. Personal training later today.

Strongly considering going to go visit my sister in New Mexico next week. That means no personal training, but it also means an opportunity to do some mountain hiking that I can't do around here right now, though it looks like the highs will still mostly touch 90 there. And while trips have messed with my diet before, this will be less of a concern because my sister would rather chop off a limb than knock me off my diet.

Haven't done a weight graph lately so:

Trying to take advantage of monsoon action tonight. Time things right and get out after it stops raining for good, and you get nice cool temps for a walk. If the storm doubles back, head for cover.

It doesn't rain often here, but when it does it gets real in a hurry.

Gonna go chance it. Need to get a little more non-gym exercise than I have been.

The graph is great, you have really kept to it. The two lines are in sync.

Mountain hiking sounds great. I myself can walk for hours and hours but the minute there is uphill walking I really struggle.

That graph is very impressive! What a journey you've been on. Keep it up! :)

How did you far in the monsoon? I hope it was a success!

Got a block from my door and saw the lightning flashing all around me and thought better of it.

240 yesterday, 238.5 today.

Looks like I am going to New Mexico. Going to drive out Wednesday morning. Suddenly I'm very busy trying to alternate between work and preparing to leave.

Since I'm leaving the hot to somewhere cooler, I'm going to try and take advantage of the weather while I'm there. That said, it's actually relatively cool today (high of 96) so I'm going to try and get a walk in tonight to go with my workout later today.

Have to break this mini-plateau. My personality just isn't sufficient to make up for 240 pounds. :)

Love the new quote! I know it's hot if NM is cooler. It has still been a relatively mild summer. It makes work easier, but I wish I could enjoy it more otherwise. I'm sure losing the 136 pounds of insulation has helped you deal with the heat a bit. Awesome work as always!

236.5 the last two days. That's a new low and pretty much right on the model pace. It's also 99.5 pounds lost since I joined here last October.

Driving to New Mexico to go visit my sister today. Gonna try and take the scenic route and get some sightseeing in. Not really packed yet, so I should probably go do that now.

So close to being at 100lb lighter! Amazing hard work and dedication on your part. HUGE kudos to you! :)

I hope you enjoyed your visit with your sister. :)

I've got your spreadsheet up and running even if it doesn't have enough data points to predict yet. You continue to be an inspiration to me. I'm attempting to follow in your footsteps. My progress has been unacceptable thus far, but you are the gleaming example of what can be done if you truly commit yourself. This time next year I hope to have similarly grand achievements in my diary. Thank you MrVee!

Wow, fantastic MrVee! We are getting crazy lightening storms around here right now. Had a tornado touch down near the city too!

Last day of my vacation today and I drive home tomorrow. Don't know what my weight is.

I'm glad I can give you a way forward Quercus. We all are different and different things are going to work differently for different people. But I do think there are some things that apply to most everybody.

Will be back to full posting on Wednesday with my final weigh-in of the month. Monthly pictures on Thursday!

Drive safely home vee....stay off the convenience store corn nuts (or insert your junk, crap nasty food item there).
