It doesn't have a predicted flatline, because once I get to where I want to be, my calorie intake is going to go up. So theoretically I could still continue losing weight. I actually experimented with those sorts of models, but the simplicity and accuracy of this one I love. I enter one number every day and it takes care of the rest.
235 this morning as indeed today is a zig day. The point of the model really has been to provide a general trend so that I have a much better understanding of my progress and where I currently stand. That it seems to do a pretty accurate job of predicting where I'll be in the future is a bonus.
Yesterday was my rest and recovery day so no workouts. Today I'm on my own and trying to decide what to do. Probably just some treadmill work. Usually on the treadmill these days, I do one day that involves significant jogging at zero incline, and the other days of the week I walk at substantial incline. The walking at incline is substantially less hard on my knees and ankles, and even though I'm not having any problems with those, I'd like to keep it that way so I'm trying not to do too much running, while still building my cardiovascular endurance.
On the other hand, the jogging is almost pure cardio while walking at incline is a substantial hamstring and glute workout, which is good generally but not if I want to give those muscles some rest and time to recover. The elliptical and stationary bike are bears on my quads, so they too don't work well when trying to rest my leg muscles.
