Getting cals under control is a good thing! Even if you start it off maybe not in the more nutritious or proper meals, it at least is a good starting point!
That's an awesome feeling I'm sure having people see what an amazing change you made! You have worked so hard and deserve all the recognition and praise for that!
 
Saw some folks I hadn't seen a long time at the game last night. And they did not recognize me. It never gets old.

168 this morning, 13.9% on the monitor. Had a bad Saturday and a good Sunday.

Gave away a bunch of protein bars to my parents. Bought a whole lot when they were on sale, and have since realized that I can't have these things in my house.
 
I cannot have protein bars in my house either. I get lazy and instead of cooking a chicken breast to go with a salad, I just eat a protein bar and pretend I'm a good girl.
 
I checked out protein bars yesterday & thought of you! Luckily they all seemed to have wheat in them anyway. I don't know what I was thinking!
 
Ohhh in the same boat, I let myself run out of Quest bars and haven't bought more as I think they made me a bit lazy. Also the husband kept eating them :D
 
I still have some left as desserts, but once they're gone, they're gone. Shame too as they're really tasty.

167 this morning 15.0% on the monitor. Adding some cardio to the end of my lifting workouts to try and jump start the downward weight movement.

Very busy at work, though in a few days it should let up considerably. Might even be able to take what passes as a "vacation" for me. I haven't taken an actual legit vacation in almost 20 years. Which is fine because vacationing by yourself is kind of pointless anyway. So if I can swing it, I'll go visit my sister in New Mexico.

Today is cardio day, so I think I'm going to play some basketball. My job is currently taking a turn for the strange, so I may be busy the next few days.
 
For today's throwback Thursday, we're gonna do some old school weight loss: 164 this morning, 14.9% on the monitor. So basketball did me some good yesterday. Headaches this morning though.

Off to workout, it's the dreaded legs day...

Would you want to compete to your goal? Obviously the last 3 pounds when you're already thin are way harder than 3 pounds for someone carrying around an extra 50+. I could do a 7:1 ratio? In other words I lose 21 before you lose 3 and I win. I'm open to other ideas if you're interested, but don't feel obligated. I only want to do it if you think it would be helpful to you.

You never responded to my offer for IT help or a laptop. I guess that means you're set, but the offer stands.

Yeah thanks for the offer. What seemed like a more serious issue was actually just the power supply. The guy at Fry's Electronics was very helpful at suggesting it and when I swapped in a new power supply, everything was golden.

Yeah I'll compete. But 7 to 1 is to unfair. 3 to 1 is fine. If I get to 161 before you lose 9 pounds, I win and shall gloat mercilessly. If not you win and can laugh at my misfortune.

Played golf with the boys tonight on a 9 hole course. My god was it hot. Hit the ball exceptionally well. The last hole is the only driver hole and I stepped on it to the tune of about 285 or 290. Still had no short game. But I'm hitting the ball longer these days being thinner and a touch stronger.

May be traveling out of town to visit my sister next week as there should be a window where work will slow. I'll still be able to stay in touch and do minor work when I need to while out of town anyway. But will be nice to escape the Phoenix heat.
 
Let's meet in the middle at 5:1. Agreed? I want the pressure and I really think that's fair. That would be my 238 to your 161. That would extend past my 6 Kg challenge which would be nice.

Back from my workout. Most of my work business gets resolved (one way or the other) this afternoon, so the chaos should subside a bit. When it does I'll be more diligent about checking other diaries.
 
I'm glad work has sorted itself out. I feel so sorry for people working now there are cell phones. You can't get away from work can you? They can always get at you by phone, even when you are on holiday.
