Nope, no fried M&C balls for me! I'm sure something will weaken my defenses, though. Heading out for the hike in a few minutes. Good hiking weather today - mid-60s and no sun makes this sweaty lad a happy lad.
Vee, I think once you see a number that starts with 3 on the scale, regardless of the other two, you're demonstrating some kind of bad personal choice in life unless you're 8 feet tall!
I'm usually OK shunning candy as long I don't have that first one. Scent is a key motivator for me - so pizza will be a challenge, of course. And my wife likes to bake cookies; she's been pretty good about hiding all but 2 or 3 from me, and I'm good at pretending I don't know where she hides them.
Interesting row last night, figured I'd up my game a little by adding in a few higher-speed intervals (1 minute at about 1:50 m/500m, back down to 2:10 the rest of it). That worked well, I ended up burning 600 calories in the row, instead of the usual 530 or so (I know, not a huge difference, but I'm still pleased with it).
BUT(T), halfway through, my nether regions started to grumble and I had to make a run to the bathroom - I blame the junk I ate the night before. Ugh, talk about a motivation killer. Heart rate dropped, I was getting bored with rowing, it would have been an easy sell for me to talk myself out of finishing the row. I didn't, though, and finished it like a boss!
700 calories under goal last night (2216 net goal for the day - 2130 in, 600 out), it was a good day.
