Wow, that must have been nice to have a fresh salad right when you wanted it! I hear you on buying big salad stuff only for it to go bad in the veggie bin. I don't know why I keep thinking I can stock up on salads. They get slimy in 2 days! I haven't grown any leafy edible greens, but this summer I grew tomatoes, bell peppers, hycanith beans, strawberries, herbs(mint,oregano,parsley,basil...) and am working on a sad little lemon tree with only 2 lemons on it! Here's a picture of my ginormous sweet potato that I pulled up the other day:
Yea and not to mention the garden stuff tastes a million times better than store bought. I should have taken advantage of our farmers market this summer ;/. But anyways I had the same problem with salad veggies being slimy in two days. I think I told you I tried those green bags...they don't last a month as they claim but I got two weeks each time I used them so that was pretty cool. And I have a digital food scale now...an oz of cheese was alot more than I thought so I was weighing it for a while there and eating it anyway
and I love your hair! mines always been pin-straight.
Ok so I know this comes with the territory but some people irritate the crap out of me. I noticed a really strange comment in a journal today that seemed completely unrelated to anything anyone was saying.
