Lindseybot3k's Diary

what you just said makes me really wonder why people get so hung up on a certain number...

There's really no telling what a specific number looks like... if you're satisfied with how you look and how you feel -then who really cares about the number that's on the scale :)

way to go for looking tiny :) camera usually adds pounds - you're doing awesome then

Yeah, and that's despite not eating as well as I should be and being sick...and uh, a weekend of engaging in certain activities that I shouldn't. The scale went up a bit but I knew it was because of what I ate and drank and not being able to go to the gym because of being ill...it's starting to come back down, but then again I just now started to take the stairs down again since I feel slightly better.

However, after this weekend no matter what, I'm going to get up even earlier than I already do so I can get a work out in prior to class so nothing can get in my way. By the end of March I want to see 27something appear on that scale!

You can do whatever you set your mind to! Keep up the good work that you've been doing. Don't worry about the scale- your body needed rest. Your body got what it needed I hope.

Have a great Friday!

Okay, so February....not a good month, but not a bad month...two months into 2008 and I've lost about 20 pounds. If I keep this up I'll finish 2008 under 250..maybe even near 200. So March...I'm coming at you with full force, even if I'm still a little sick. I think I'm going to start going to the gym and decide what I'm going to eat for the day in the morning and not waiver what so ever when it comes to what I've decided to eat. By April I want to be firmly in the 270s.

That sounds like such a great plan! You are making ME motivated-just by you giving yourself a pep-talk. lol. Keep up the great attitude and you will go far. You already have!

Thanks!

No French = no test till Wednesday = more free time = going to the gym as soon as I finish this = healthy lunch after wards = good day!

Goodness I've missed the gym.:eek2:

yeah, I'm feeling better. I still have cough that likes to pop up every now again, but it's not terrible.

When I left the dorm to go the gym, I got lampooned by my friend who is constantly making me go off track, and instead of going to the gym, she talked me into going for a walk downtown with her and our other friend, and on the way we stopped at the fancy cafeteria and had some of their food. Inside this cafeteria, they've got Chick-Fil-A, Pizza Hut and two other food stations...I decided to play it safe and have an 8 piece thing of chicken nuggets and some fresh pineapple (...which was the best pineapple I've ever had, and makes me love pineapple even more). And then once I got rid of her and went to a meeting I had for a class group project, I THEN went to the gym.

I think tonight calls for a treat of some sort! I think someone is painting her nails!

Oh, and I found out today that I'm in the top 20% of my class and that I've been invited to join the National Society of Collegiate Scholars. I just have to come up with the money to pay for the dues...

So it's 8:05 AM eastern time....

...and I have sweated more than most people do in a whole day, showered, and have discovered the bliss that is going to the gym in the morning.

I don't understand that whole going to the gym in the morning thing... that's just entirely too much effort before a gallon of coffee -not to mention having to shower twice...

Kudos to you...

Yeah, but I have work that I have to do to turn in tomorrow, and I figured if I got it out of the way that I could derail someone's attempts at what could be conscious or unconscious sabotage. Plus, I knew it'd probably be completely and utterly empty and those that would be there would be the people seriously working rather than those that are there to pick up dates and hang out with their friends. I think I might have to start doing that instead of waiting till after my classes, actually.

last wedneday I got out of a client meeting early and was at the gym at like 4:00 - it was awesome being there when no one else was - I'd love to be able to do morning workouts but that'd require a serious amount of effort :) and well -i'm lazy.. Making coffee is my workout :)

I'm impressed that anyone can actually workout in the morning -I am just such not a morning person.. but it does get it out of the way...

Its a good idea to go to the gym in the morning... not only do you get it done early so you don't have to worry about sabotaging the idea... but you also set the mood/pace for the rest of your day!

I finally have someone to go to the gym with again! My next door neighbor saw pictures of me on Facebook of my fatty jeans, and she said something about wanting to go but never having anyone to go with her- so I took her up on it! Today we're going at 3.

Just got back from the gym and dinner....I really liked working out with Jessica. We met there and we both went and did our own thing (which I prefer)...and it's so nice being able to go to the gym and there be one person there that I know and like.

In the past couple of weeks, I've noticed myself modifying school food more and more to my liking...like this evening, I got the barbecue chicken and these weird potato things, and took as much skin as I could off of the chicken and didn't touch the potatoes, and had corn and green beans instead. Another day for lunch I took a fish sandwich, took the fish off the bread and had corn and green beans with it. And when I'm at the cafeteria, I notice that I make longer and sometimes unnecessary trips without realizing it when I begin to.

you gotta love college....the day I wake up, shower, make my hair and myself look overly cut and presentable, is the day I get to class and there is no class- and it also happens to be the day I remembered to email myself the things I did over the weekend.

Ugh.
