-- How much weight do you want to lose?
Short term goal: 24 more pounds
Long term goal: 74
-- What is the timeframe for reaching your target weight?
Short term goal: By August 31 (taking me to 300)
Long tearm goal: By December 31 (taking me to 250)
Once I get to 250 I'll see where I want to go from there
-- How do you want to accomplish your goal (what methods do you want to use)?
-Eat 1500 calories or under a day
-Exercise everyday
-Add more fruits and vegetables into my diet and restrict as much junk food as possible
-- Who or what can support you in reaching your goal?
-Friends and family can support me
-Knowing that I'll be healthier in the long run if I do this
-Knowing that if I do this I should be able to fit into clothing at normal stores if I'm already in size 18/20 tops
-- How realistic is your goal?
Pretty realistic
-- When will you start?
Now!
I've got into the worst habit that somebody trying to overhaul their entire lifestyle could ever, ever, get into. Everytime I go into what is basically my own bathroom, I step on my scale after I've done whatever it is I had to do, and it's causing me to go a little nutty because weight increases and decreases all day long, and one minute I'll see a number that I love or I'm okay with, and then I'll see a number I hate and I thought was wayyy behind me. This past week I've expected and accepted higher numbers because I've got the Female Curse. It's so frusterating knowing that I'm doing everything I can here and eating decently and that because I'm a girl there are going to be times where I get on the scale and it's going to say things I'm not going to like and I won't be able to control it. And it's even harder when as each day passes I see changes and the scale isn't changing with me.
I'm also slightly stressed out about college; my dormmate and I have yet to hear about where we're going to be living because we're at the very top of the waiting list for the dorm that we want, and I haven't gotten stuff back for fiancial aid, and I'm worrying about how I'm going to pay for all the stuff I'm going to need and how I'm going to get a computer for myself to use.
I tried pilates this morning through this DVD we had on our shelf; it was relaxing and not as hard as I thought it would be. I didn't have as much trouble with it as I thought, and it was actually kind of relaxing, so maybe it'll help with my stress levels along with writing about my dieting here instead of my Livejournal because my friends there don't really get what I'm going through although they're happy for me.
I hope that after my body returns to normal I can get from 324 to 323 or 322. I'm going to do my usual thing on my stationary bike or play DDR for an hour or so and then do pilates later, and see if it helps my results any.
