Afternoon girlfriend!! It was funny you mentioned mowing a lawn for your girlfriend, that's exactly what I did today, and I have a big fat blister in the middle of my palm, I should have wore gloves, I'm an idiot!! I'm also exhausted, it was 75 x 50 and it took forever!!! That's just the dogs area. I'm going to try and take some pics of our yard so everyone can see what we deal with on a weekend basis. I love your family pic, the boys are cuties! Well, I hope the rest of your weekend turns out wonderful for you!!! I'll chat at you later!

A good day..got lots done. Started the day by doing my sit-ups and free weights at home before taking Rufus out on the grid road for a jog. Then groceries and some cleaning, the boys helped.
Breakfast: Flax bagel 320 calories 2 tbsp cream cheese 90 calories
Snack; apple 80 calories
Lunch; 2 slices rye bread 140 calories with 2 tbsp peanut butter 200 calories, 1 cup cucumber 15 calories
Supper; 6 oz. carrots 65, 2 cups spinach 15, 5 oz. broiled chicken breast 230
Dessert; DQ fudge bar 45 calories
Snack; air popped popcorn, no butter/salt 300 calories
Total = 1500 calories
5km jog, sit-ups, 6 upper body free weight exercises. My friend asked me today if he could take me to Las Vegas for a long weekend...hmmm... that could be fun!

Flax is a plant which seeds produce an oil that is full of omega 3 essential fatty acid (EFA), protein and fiber. Flax and hemp seed oils are both very good...for a myriad of good functioning and also have healing properties. My kids actually don't mind these bagels (they taste like a normal bagel) so it's one way to get good stuff in them
This is a script I'm working on: Seagulls scream, as they fly over a huge old house on a wooded bluff above the ocean. A road leads to a large expanse of countryside and a town can be seen in the distance. Inside a living room with high ceilings, furniture is overtaken by scientific equipment, papers, and books. Neurosurgeon, DR. BERTRAM CALDWELL (50s), serious, driven, wears a white lab coat and headlamp and leans over to examine cell cultures. FRANCIS MEYER (18), an impetuous sexpot, is pregnant and her father has ‘loaned‘ her to provide personal care to Dr. Caldwell‘s wheelchair bound wife. A bored Francis tells Dr. Caldwell she's going for a walk and some exercise would probably do him good. He replies “I must get these cultures just right”. Francis lays her hand on his arm and tells him the coneflowers are in full bloom on the bluff this time of season. He reminds her she’s there because of her condition. “Earn your keep by cleaning and cooking and providing personal care to Mrs. Caldwell”. Francis pouts until she sees the face of MARABEL CALDWELL through a glass incubator. Marabel seemingly stares at Francis’ belly, mute and paralyzed in her wheelchair. Francis instinctively places her hands on her stomach.
Research assistant, TONY DE LUCA enters the living room and asks Francis to help him unload some boxes. She leaves with Tony but turns to see Dr. Caldwell go to his wife and tell her how beautiful she is. Caldwell moves a wisp of her hair. Marabel just stares.
Outside while unloading boxes from a van, Tony tells Francis she shouldn't smoke in her condition. “What? Does the whole town know? Why all the boxes?” Tony tells her Dr. Caldwell wants to complete his research at home since he's so close to results. Tony tells Francis he just got promoted to research assistant at the Biomedical Research Center and he'd take care of her, if she wanted. She throws her head back and laughs and teasingly says “You’re just a boy”.
Dr. Caldwell tenderly spoon feeds Marabel in the kitchen, Francis says good night but he doesn’t hear her. From her bedroom, Francis watches the shadow of Dr. Caldwell’s feet pass her door, as he carries Marabel to bed. The next day, Francis is bored and Dr. Caldwell doesn’t have time for her.
Francis goes home to town and asks her dad, GEORGE, “Can’t I please come home?” Dad’s running for mayor in a traditional constituency and doesn’t want a pregnant daughter running around. Mom suggests it’s not too late for an abortion, but Francis insists she wants the baby. Mom, a rendition of a 1950s valium-soaked housewife, agrees a baby will settle Francis down.
Back at the house on the bluff, Francis tucks Marabel into bed, tells her she wants Dr. Caldwell to want her, but he only has eyes for Marabel. “Go figure, look at you”. “This yours?” Francis takes Marabel’s ring from her night stand and places it on her own finger. “It’s mine now”.
Resigned to her sequestered fate, Francis feels caged and, against Dr. Caldwell’s strict orders, she explores the grounds around his house. She wanders into his greenhouse and Tony is waiting there, his shirt open. He sits on one of the benches and leaning his head back, he says “Ahhh, you made it, come here beautiful, and make a boy feel good”. Francis takes the bottle of wine from his hand and guzzles for a long time, slams the bottle down and straddles his lap. He opens the buttons on her dress and his mouth falls open as he looks on her fantastic breasts and body. A look of concern and he asks “Is it…?”. Francis laughs, “of course it’s okay … mmmm… if anything, I’m more horny now than ever". Francis' frenzied motion, bangs the bench against the greenhouse wall so hard the wine bottle falls to the ground and breaks. “STOP it Francis! I can’t take it, shit”. Francis laughs and climbs off an exhausted Tony. He hurriedly dresses and looks nervously out the door, while Francis sexily saunters through the greenhouse. She grabs some soil and rubs it all over her breasts and belly, the inside of her thighs, and throws a clump of dirt at the side of Tony’s head. He turns to look at her …“you’re hopeless girl” and he runs to catch her which makes her run. She finds a little back room and opens the door, but the scary gardener catches them and tells her he’s going to report this to Dr. Caldwell, to which Francis replies “And I’ll tell him I caught you copping a feel with Mrs. Caldwell”. She knows it’s not true, but she’s a quick witted survivor.
Next day, Francis overhears cellular biologist MAKSIM KOROLENKO and neurologist HUI ZHANG argue with Dr. Caldwell. Maksim Korolenko is agitated. “We’ll be the laughing stock of the community and don’t think this won’t have an impact on our funding”. They leave, but ZHANG drops his business card while flinging his suit jacket over his shoulder. Francis sees the card fall on the floor.
Francis is woken by a scream and from her window, sees a woman running from the greenhouse on the grounds. She explores the eerie greenhouse and enters the little back room where she shines her flashlight on high-tech surgical instruments, including a drill which hangs from the ceiling and a silver dome-like apparatus. All of a sudden she sees Dr. Caldwell’s face in the dark, scares the shit out of her. He tells her this greenhouse is off limits. She says "I thought I saw..." He interrupts when he notices his wife’s ring on Francis’ finger, wrenches it off her hand, and orders her back to the house. Francis retorts, “don’t tell my father, or I’ll tell what I saw in the greenhouse”.
Next night, Dr. Caldwell uncharacteristically invites Francis to have tea with him. Dr. Caldwell sadly explains Marabel sustained a skull injury in a car accident, causing her paralysis. He explains the woman who ran from the greenhouse, was a patient whose brain tumor he removed. She reacted negatively to her medication, so he admitted her to hospital. She was discharged months later but never the same and occasionally comes onto his property. The equipment in the room is old and unused but he checks it now and then to see if it’s still working. He talks about his research. Francis is uninterested and falls asleep. The next day, Francis is fatigued and Dr. Caldwell orders her to rest. Tony visits Francis and says he’s helping Dr. Caldwell with a computer problem. He tries to flirt, but Francis seems apathetic.
Later, Francis tries to strike up conversations with Dr. Caldwell, even makes a pass, but he becomes increasingly distant and involved in his research.
Scorned by her parents and ignored by Dr. Caldwell, a lonely Francis turns to Marabel for comfort. A lovely sensual scene at the beach where Francis frolics in the water and later sifts sand on Marabel’s arms and feet. Francis confesses “it was wrong for me to take your ring-I don’t know why I do stuff like that”. She confides some of her childhood secrets to the ever quiet Marabel. She tells Marabel her father was always too busy in politics to have time for her, but remembers a happy memory with her mother, on the beach, before her dad entered politics. Francis confesses she doesn’t know who the father of her baby is, since she slept with a few men in town.

Francis notices things are in different places than she left them. A cooking pot hangs from a rack when she’s sure she put it in a drawer. Dr. Caldwell’s notes are scattered on the floor, when she knows she tidied them away in a bookcase. Francis complains of abdominal cramps and says she’s going to the doctor, but Dr. Caldwell tells her this is normal during pregnancy and gives her some pills.
Francis’ friendship with Marabel deepens. Francis brushes her hair every night, puts nice clothes and pretty hats on her, takes her for walks on the bluff. Tony comes calling, but Francis prefers to spend time with Marabel. She’s growing up. One day, as Francis leaves a room, Marabel utters a phrase that sounds like “feed us”. Francis is very excited, runs to tell Dr. Caldwell, but he downplays it and says it’s just old neurological patterns replaying in her sub conscience. Francis takes Marabel to the kitchen, congratulates her in trying to speak, and gives her some soup.
Another day, while making Marabel’s bed, Francis finds her wheelchair empty and looks all over for her. Francis finds Marabel lying in the garden, staring in a trance. Dr. Caldwell says he brought her there to sit in the garden and she must have fallen over. He gives the gardener heck while he carries Marabel upstairs and places her in the wheelchair. Later at supper, he looks excited and happy about something.
Francis goes for a doctor check-up because she doesn’t feel right, and finds out she’s miscarried. Devastated and demoralized, she sits by the ocean with Tony and tells him a memory of when she was a little girl. She and her parents walked along the bluff, overlooking the ocean. Seagulls were dropping clams and mussels from great heights, to crack open the shells. They swooped down to eat the soft contents. Francis remembers screaming when she discovered a dead baby animal being eaten by crows. Her dad held her and explained animals sometimes can’t take care of their babies. He pointed to the shore and explained there were so many seagulls that year, there wasn’t enough food for the crows. Francis kept crying, as the crows pecked. Her hysteria escalated, until her voice matched the cry of a seagull. Francis soberly drives to her parent’s home to tell them of her miscarriage when all of a sudden she brakes. “Feed us, feed us, fee tus?“ She realizes Marabel had been saying “fetus”. She suspects Dr. Caldwell aborted her fetus, the night she passed out.
Francis hurries to tell Tony. He wants to be supportive, but thinks she’s just distraught. She goes to the nearby town and tells RHETT, the cop. He knows she's promiscuous and thinks she’s just trying to get away from Dr. Caldwell’s care. Francis makes Tony tell her about Dr. Caldwell’s research and begs him to take her to the Biomedical Research Centre, which he does. They learn Dr. Caldwell is conducting an experiment where the cells of aborted fetuses are being cultured and inserted into skulls, as part of an experiment to cure paralysis. Francis learns the apparatus in his greenhouse is used to drill holes in skulls, to implant the cells. They run out with a video tape of evidence.
With her newfound heightened conscience, Francis races back to the house to rescue Marabel, searches the whole place and finally finds the wheelchair empty. Of course it's thundering and lightning outside. She runs to the greenhouse room. Marabel appears behind her, only flashes of lightening reveal her godawful scary face, looming over Francis’ shoulder. "Come here Marabel" says the voice of Dr. Caldwell. Francis snaps her head and sees him seated in a chair. He tells Francis he couldn't wait for governments to play their political games and pass their silly laws to allow scientific procedures that are already being performed in China.
He says Maksim and Hui were getting in the way of how close he was coming to finally curing his wife. "Come here dear". Marabel walks slowly, catatonic. He gives his the-brain-is-an-amazing-thing speech, something about the lobes, how they can be manipulated. "She still can't talk, but there's time for that". Francis accuses him of killing her child. “You ARE a child! A cure for paralysis is more significant than the silly whims of a slut”. “The town will easily believe you drank too much, passed out, and miscarried”.
Zhang appears and calmly tells Francis to go back to the house. Francis races back to the house and finds Maksim dead in a closet, murdered in a gruesome manner. Suddenly, Marabel is walking up the stairs, towards Francis. Francis runs, but trips. She manages to phone her dad, but Marabel reaches her and covers her mouth and no one can hear her scream.
Tony reports what they learned at the lab to Rhett, and tells him of Dr. Caldwell possibly aborting Francis‘ baby. Rhett reluctantly phones Dr. Caldwell, no answer. They visit Francis’ dad, George, who says Dr. Caldwell kindly offered to take Francis and she‘s given to histrionics. Tony tries to convince George of the danger she’s in.
Although still mute, Marabel shows Francis she means her no harm. She takes Francis’ hand and walks slowly down the stairs, leading Francis into the living room.
Tony, Rhett and George arrive and find Dr. Caldwell in the greenhouse, bludgeoned and regaining consciousness. Dr. Caldwell tricks them into thinking Francis hit him.
“No! No, no, no Marabel, we have to get out of here” Francis jerks her head to all directions of the windows and doors. Marabel looks deadpan at Francis and moves to stand in front of a file cabinet. She slowly turns her head to Francis and mumbles incoherently. “The filing cabinet…what?“ Francis looks at the filing cabinet and rushes about the room looking for the key to unlock it. She finally finds it and opens the drawer and flips frantically through folders, occasionally flipping her head around to look at the door. She pulls out a newspaper clipping which suggests police thought Marabel‘s car was tampered with but the trail was left cold. “What? Francis looks at Marabel, “that bastard caused your paralysis to prove cell implantation can cure it?” “Oh my god, oh my god” Francis paces flapping her hands. “Marabel, come with me”.
Francis hides Marabel in the house and runs into the woods. George and Tony look for Francis in the woods but instead find a bludgeoned Dr. Zhang. Dr. Caldwell kills Rhett when he demands to know what’s up with the equipment in the back room. Dr. Caldwell comes to the house and tries to kill Francis, but George comes to the rescue. They chase outside and Dr. Caldwell pushes George off a cliff. George hangs on with one hand, Francis tries to pull her dad up, but can’t. “Daddy .. I can’t” George weakly says “Baby I’m sorry, I love you”. He falls to his death. Dr. Caldwell struggles with Francis and pushes her off the cliff. Francis lands on a stone ledge, and doesn’t move. Tony shoots Dr. Caldwell and looks down at Francis on the ledge.
In the denouement, a woman stands behind another woman in a wheelchair, as they gaze out a window. Marabel stands behind Francis, who now sits in a wheelchair. The two women inextricably bound to one another through Francis’ unborn child.

Suddenly, Marabel is walking up the stairs, towards Francis. Francis runs, but trips. She manages to phone her dad, but Marabel reaches her and covers her mouth and no one can hear her scream.
Tony reports what they learned at the lab to Rhett, and tells him of Dr. Caldwell possibly aborting Francis‘ baby. Rhett reluctantly phones Dr. Caldwell, no answer. They visit Francis’ dad, George, who says Dr. Caldwell kindly offered to take Francis and she‘s given to histrionics. Tony tries to convince George of the danger she’s in.
Although still mute, Marabel shows Francis she means her no harm. She takes Francis’ hand and walks slowly down the stairs, leading Francis into the living room.
Tony, Rhett and George arrive and find Dr. Caldwell in the greenhouse, bludgeoned and regaining consciousness. Dr. Caldwell tricks them into thinking Francis hit him.
“No! No, no, no Marabel, we have to get out of here” Francis jerks her head to all directions of the windows and doors. Marabel looks deadpan at Francis and moves to stand in front of a file cabinet. She slowly turns her head to Francis and mumbles incoherently. “The filing cabinet…what?“ Francis looks at the filing cabinet and rushes about the room looking for the key to unlock it. She finally finds it and opens the drawer and flips frantically through folders, occasionally flipping her head around to look at the door. She pulls out a newspaper clipping which suggests police thought Marabel‘s car was tampered with but the trail was left cold. “What? Francis looks at Marabel, “that bastard caused your paralysis to prove cell implantation can cure it?” “Oh my god, oh my god” Francis paces flapping her hands. “Marabel, come with me”.
Francis hides Marabel in the house and runs into the woods. George and Tony look for Francis in the woods but instead find a bludgeoned Dr. Zhang. Dr. Caldwell kills Rhett when he demands to know what’s up with the equipment in the back room. Dr. Caldwell comes to the house and tries to kill Francis, but George comes to the rescue. They chase outside and Dr. Caldwell pushes George off a cliff. George hangs on with one hand, Francis tries to pull her dad up, but can’t. “Daddy .. I can’t” George weakly says “Baby I’m sorry, I love you”. He falls to his death. Dr. Caldwell struggles with Francis and pushes her off the cliff. Francis lands on a stone ledge, and doesn’t move. Tony shoots Dr. Caldwell and looks down at Francis on the ledge.
In the denouement, a woman stands behind another woman in a wheelchair, as they gaze out a window. Marabel stands behind Francis, who now sits in a wheelchair. The two women inextricably bound to one another through Francis’ unborn child.
Think I should put that into book form? It scared the shit out of me while I was writing it. LOL

Heavy story! I'm with MissLadybug, the greenhouse scene was sexy, and you manipulated emotion well! Francis was a lusty little nymph to start off and then she exhibited other traits towards the end. I totally think you should, because I had great images in mind thanks to your storytelling ability. Very cool 2Skinny!

Hey, good job on the script. It's definately different than what I normally read. I like my fantasy books, lol. However, I did really like it
The series I'm reading is the Sword of Truth series by Terry Goodkind. It's an absolutely awesome series. If you like fantasy you'll definately like it and if you don't like fantasy you'll still like it! I got this one lady at work to read it and she doesn't like fantasy and she said it was so good, she just couldn't put it down. It's a huge series and the last book in the series isn't out yet but it should be soon, I hope by the end of summer. Also, I recently learned that they're going to be making a tv series about it and the guy that made the spiderman movies (very awesome movies just saw the 3rd one yesterday!!!!!) he's the one making the tv series for this book! I'm SOOOOO excited, I definately recommend this series to everyone!
Ok I'm getting so off topic and excited! LOL... man it's just such an awesome series, I so can't wait for the last book and the tv series! When I found out about the tv thing I almost died!

I like the script quite a bit. I used to do a lot of writing in my younger days with both improv and my telelvision job keeping me busy writing at work. However, I've really fallen out of the practice. I can't stress enough how important creative pursuits are . I say go for Vegas.
