ha ha ha you guys are funny. There'll be a whole lotta torridness soon. Maybe as soon as this weekend. I'm going to a cabaret and the band, Stampeders are playing. Maybe there'll be some unsuspecting fellah there...I'll try to be as torrid as possible. ha ha ha

WIDRT;
Breakfast; Oatmeal porridge 260 calories, 1 oz. walnuts 185 calories, 1/2 cup mixed fruit 50 calories
Snack; small apple 65 calories
Lunch; boiled large egg 75, 1 oz. extra old cheddar 115 calories, 260 cals for a bag of low-fat popcorn, 3.5 oz green pepper 20 calories
Snack; 1/2 cup yogurt 60 cals, .25 cup granola 70 cals, 1/2 cup green grapes 55 calories
Supper; Manchu Wok fried rice 270, vegetables 70, spicy beef 215 cals
Total = 1775

Briskly walked to work and home 4 miles, burned 300 cals. Tomorrow is weigh in day but I know I won't be down much, I'm stalled, but not worried because I know it's muscle from walking and my clothes are looser so I'm going to try and squeeze into a pair of jeans I bought a few weeks ago.
 
Thanks Curvie Girlie and Cannon. Well, I gained two pounds since last week. YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I gained two pounds!! I gained two pounds!!! Okay, I'm joking. This is how I really feel: @#$%**!!
I did notice I was swimming in my blue dress pants and in my little red number, a mini skirt dress with a matching blazer. At least 5 people complimented me on my red dress today. But the funniest compliment came from my dear co-worker Monty. He says on Monday "do you have a job interview or something, come you're all dressed up?" I told him earlier in the week I just felt like it, and I only wear a dress twice a year so he should really REALLY enjoy my dress because it doesn't happen often. Today he comes up to me and says he doesn't know how to live anymore because I wore a dress twice in one week and now his world is completely turned upside down and will he have to start dressing up? Will he have to start wearing dresses? How did this happen?? LMAO If Monty wasn't married ... He's dutch, like me, he plays soccer and he's tall and just damn funny. We flirt and sometimes I wonder if the other people in the office notice. tee hee It's all very tame and respectful because if there's one thing I would NEVER mess with his marriage. I have never, and will never, date a married man. But I do love my Monty.

Now WIDRT:
Breakfast: Oatmeal porridge (yawn) 350 calories, 1 cup pineapple 75
Lunch; 1 cup cucumber 15, 2 cups caesar salad 165, 1 oz. cheese 115, boiled egg 75 calories
Supper; 1 cup whole wheat spaghetti with 1 cup tomato sauce with lean ground beef 475 calories
Total = 1295 but there may be more tonight on account it's too low ...maybe an apple or a DQ fudge bar or a bag of popcorn.
Walked two miles to work & one mile with RUFUS. Had to edit my post to add that last mile in :) Oh, and a 2nd edit to add my nite snack 2 rice crackers 120 cals 1415 cals for the day.

Hey there wtg on the diet and work out, I wish i had a dog to walk.. Maybe I should take the 20 pound cat for a walk, he looks like he needs one right along with me.. He is bad about sitting (on) at the computer with me and we have the stare down about who owns the desk.. I think ill do that, I gotta find his harness..
 
Your food is looking great! You sound great! (Like always!) I saw your comment elsewhere about Notes on a Scandal. I loved that movie too! It was really engrossing. Amazing actresses....Staying tuned here ready for the torrid details! :D
 
Congrats on the muscle!!! I know the 2lbs is hard to see but it works out so much better in the end and just think... the more muscle you have the more you can get away with something non-calorie friendly... not always but enough that you don't feel like a rabbit for the rest of your life lol. Can you tell I've been feeling like a rabbit;) but the muscles will help you burn your calories. I hope you are having a marvalous weekend!!! There needs to be more unmarried Monty's in the world;) He sounds wonderful:)

Yes, the acting was off the richter scale, it was ridiculously good

Thank Mish. I hate feeling like a rabbit tooooooooo. I'm trying to mix up my types of veggies and fruits to keep it interesting. Gonna try Mal's olive oil/garlic roasted brussel sprouts this week

Well, I went to the cabaret last night, but I'm afraid the only torrid behavior I can report is that I drank way too much alcohol. Oh, but it was fun. We danced, and ran into some old friends, even went backstage to see the Stampeders (man they're old) and a good time was had by all. I tried to find a man to be torrid with, but here's the deal; a biker's association put on this cabaret so lots of leather and tats, lots of cowboys. Don't forget, bikers are just old cowboys. 'stead of horses, they jump on their bikes. And I ain't no cowgirl, gawd love every one of 'em. No, I shall have to find another venue for my torridness...will keep you posted.
Not gonna list my food for yesterday...it was good, but the booze wiped me off the richter scale. Tequila & Sourpuss shooters and such...
I took yesterday off exercise but today walked buddy for a couple miles.
Also eating on plan today and drinking a lot of water. Should have gone to the gym today but feel so lazy. Tomorrow. Edited this post to say "I changed my mind". I'm off to the gym right now.

Ummm...I tried that olive oil, garlic brussel sprout thing.

I suppose if you LIKED brussel sprouts, they MIGHT be good.
They got three big thumbs down here though ;)
 
Good for you on heading to the gym. I'm doing my walk in an hour and 10 minutes. After I eat some dinner and let it digest.
 
Hey, I've seen you posting on here and you seem like an awesome person to get to know, so I finally found your diary. I have a hard time actually finding a person's diary, but ah well!

I hope you're having a great day today, don't worry about all the alcohol. It might have wiped you off the scale for that day, but that's just one day ;)

Also, good job on getting to the gym, I know how hard that can be! That's why I joined cardio kickboxing, to do something I enjoy and give myself a break from the gym, lol.

Welcome anytime Risty! I tried cardio kickboxing several months ago and just about died. LOL

Well, I did 60 minutes on the elliptical trainer, 3-12s X three different types of sit-ups, 3-12s core strength, 3-12s heel raises and 3-10s X 7 different upper body free weights. And kept my cals at 1240 today to make up for yesterday. I've been kind of busy lately and not able to pop into other diaries, but plan to catch up this week.
 
Yeah the CK does kick my butt! Like I was saying in my diary, I can't boxer skip the whole time (that I'm not punching and kicking stuff) so I have to work my way up to it.

Total = 1555 calories
Walked 3.5 miles, 2 to work and 1.5 with the Roofster (Rufus). Feeling really good to be in control.. just enjoying that feeling of saying no to the dessert my mom brought when I had her for supper tonight.
