Lili's Diary

OMG!!! Dating! Woooo hooooo! torrid details here we come:D *pulls up a chair and some popcorn* ;) he he he. Balancing your work life and your personal life seems like a great thing to be doing! I live vicariously through my dating friends though;) lol. Don't sweat the bad day. You are in a different place and sometimes eating perfectly can't happen when your away from your routine. I ate badly on Sunday and it didn't hurt too much... just will take me a little longer to get into the 150's but overall didn't do much. You are still doing fine and I am sure you will make up for it!! I am looking forward to a burger as my treat for getting into the low 150's. It will be months I am sure;) lol Sounds like you are having a good time!! Have fun!!

Stupid food happens I suppose, but I understand because unfortunately I deal with stress in the same way. It's defeating. I think it's so wonderful that you're going to resign yourself to dating :sigh: :) You make it sound a bit like a chore! You DO need to get out and have fun though so go laugh and dance and make yourself happy, and let these guys hang out with you. Share the goodness you know! I'm waiting for all the details!!!!! I love it that you speak your mind at meetings by the way! I would hate to be a pushover and you are obviously not that. THat is awesome  Hope you're having a good day 2Skinny :)

YAY! I hope the dating goes well, I'm so excited for you! I think Michael Buble got to your head! *giggle* WOO! I'm sure you'll do perfectly fine in the dating department. You're an awesome person and ya looks so good! You have it all!

I just wanted to thank you for the support you've given me during my surgery period and my rough eating/exercising period. It really helped me get through it :)

Part of my problem is I am extremely independent, self sufficient, and yes, opinionated and bossy. Any man who wants to put up with me, does so at his own risk. At his own peril. :rotflmao: In the words of the great Dr. Evil...Oh Behaaaave!

OK the bossy thing can get old real quick, but those other qualities are such a bonus. There is nothing more annoying to me than going out on a date (or heck even with a friend) who is unopinionated and puts all the responsibility for us having fun off on me. Have fun and don't do too much we wouldn't do.

Hey Miz Skinny (that name is more suitable than Anna)! I just read back a bit trying to catch up on you. There are plenty of guys out there who love an independent "bossy" woman, so go for it and be you. I think that's the key to finding someone that makes you happy. Do you, be you and you'll attract the right guy for you...ya know, just be as real and straight up as I can tell you are. Who's this second guy now? I didnt read back that far. As for me, I'm a bit man-crazy. I literally haven't gone a week without dating SOMEBODY (anybody? LOL. Just kidding) since I was about 15. I think when you have kids to love, you dont need a man to the same extent. That's how I feel now, like if I wasn't with Davie I'd be cool with just my little baby. But I do seem to like the attention of a man at all times. Yet I'm also very independent and sometimes bossy (though not usually too bad with men, more at work I'm a real biatch).

What kind of work are you in? How did that scary meeting go a little while back? I was really pulling for you and wondering what happened, but then I just got way too busy for any internet surfing at all so never found out.

Ate on plan, killer workout this morning. My brother and his family (and his two new puppies) are coming to stay with us this weekend. After a full day of meetings, followed by a 5 hour flight, he's not arriving until 11:30 pm. He's a dear, but not overly organized. I'm so tired. But I'll stay up til he gets here...hug the kids and puppies, visit for a bit, get them settled in and go to bed!
Whoa...just wanted to mention I might start dating again. I am not boy crazy...in fact, there's a strong likelihood I'll change my mind after dating one or two! So it's no big deal.
If I get some time this weekend, I'll nose around in everyone's diary...just wanted to record my food/exercise.
Have a good Friday everyone!

I am going to try dating as well. Have told friends now that I'm in the market and I actually answered an okay personal ad last night in the paper. First time. My neighbour pointed it out to me. Okay I said. It probably won't work. But now I know its possible to meet someone special without even trying, someone who knocks your socks off.

Hi 2Skinny

:rotflmao: We all did sort of get excited about the dating thing. Can't help it! It is exciting! Great job on the food and killer workout :) also have fun with the bro and nephews/nieces/pups. Hope it's a great day.

Hi Anna, good to see that all is well with you. I wonder if anyone else notices that you get waylaid by the Army boys and now we are off to work the dating scene! Something quite vicarious in that! For me, I've been happily for a hundred years or so, which means my love life thrills come from living wildly in the details others. Do share!

Having my brother and his kids and 2 adorable puppies over this weekend. We all trucked over to my sister's house for supper last night. My two oldest neices are back from Florida and Quebec where they got their university degrees and it's great to see them again. Today we'll go to the gym and then watch the NHL playoffs together. Sunday I'll have everyone at mine for supper.

My sons are attending a party for one of their friends. Marshall was hurt on a construction site at the tender age of 18 and is permanently wounded (broke his femur amongst other things), so they are throwing him a huge 19th birthday party since he has recovered enough to go out finally. I am proud of the boys for cleaning the house so when I got back from Ottawa, my brother's family arrived two hours later and I didn't have to do anything but clean the bathroom. Like that!

Wow, you got the boys to clean??? How can I get my Davie to clean since he was raised by a grandmother who practically wiped his ass for him? You sound busy but somehow you manage to eat so darn healthy! How in the world do you do it? My eating is so random and all over the place. I will keep reading your diary for ideas. Matter fact, I think I'll go have some Kashi whole grain hot cereal RIGHT NOW! Enjoy with your family, they sound lovely.

Howdy Anna,

Hope my boys are that good at that age :D

Wow, you really ARE determined given that you're exercising while you have a house full of company. Absolutely amazing! I really need to get some of your discipline. How do you make your roast beef? I never cooked a roast but seems like a nice meal for dinner.

Morning Anna, your super women!! Enjoying company and working out, DAMN that makes me feel like a lug. I won't be doing any working out this next week when my family shows up, my only saving grace will be eating really good!!! TWO THUMBS UP! For the boys doing cleaning for mom, wow they must really, really, really love their mom~!! :) Well, keep up the good work, and enjoy the rest of your weekend!! I'll stop in tomorrow to get the latest!

Hi Wishes, yah my sons are like living with adults now..which is great. I'm sure yours will not only be good, but they'll be FIT too with a mom like you.

It was hard to drag my butt to the gym but it helped my brother wanted to go. I put my roast beef overtop potatoes and carrots in a slow cooker and then top the roast with a jar of salsa. 8 hours later...tender and tasty roast beef. So easy
Hi Anna :) Just a quick hello and spreading some forum love your way :)
Thanks T2...I love having family for company but so far the puppies have pissed and pooped on my carpet a few times, and my little nephew even left his own deposit on the toilet seat last night...sigh. This house will get a disinfectant cleansing come Monday! It's very noisy and busy in my house right now. Family. You gotta luv 'em. lol

Thanks Kim. Scale's not budging and every little healthy choice I make throughout the day doesn't seem rewarded. But we forge ahead. I'm lucky because my brother and neice wanted to go to the gym also. My neice just finished playing on a college volleyball team in Savannah, Georgia and my brother eats no sugar in his diet and works out once/week. So the 3 of us went to the gym together. It was cool for me to find out I weigh the same as my 23 year old neice...but that girl is all muscle from the jumping in volleyball and they have strict workout regimes. Today I'm suggesting we leave the dogs and go out to play pool. It rained all weekend and there's only so many movies to watch.
