Thanks Sara...yes, I feel enthusiastic and as though my spirit is renewed. I didn't expect it to be renewed this way, but I read Lisa's Master Cleanse thread and it inspired me to try this fast also. I researched it a little and spoke to my neighbourhood health food store guy and today's my first day.
The Master Cleanse is a lemonade-based fast prescribed for detoxification and weight loss. Highly regarded holistic nurses, doctors and naturopaths, are proponents of this drink. The lemons and the maple syrup give all the micronutrients one needs to sustain the body. Grade B syrup has higher contents of those macronutrients. Also, organic lemons are best. The cayenne pepper's role is to help break up toxic deposits within the body. The citrus can do that as well; the cayenne just helps it go faster. For water, I use purified water. Many websites advise using this fast with spiritual goals in mind to achieve great results. The drink:
Dissolves and eliminates toxins and congestion that has formed in any part of the body.
Cleanses the kidneys and the digestive system.
Purifies the glands and cells throughout the entire body.
Eliminates all unusable waste and hardened material in the joints and muscles.
Relieves pressures and irritation in the nerves, arteries, and blood vessels.
Builds a healthy bloodstream.
Keeps youth and elasticity regardless of our years.
This cleanse combined with my horscope, made me take the leap. This is what the scopes said for me:
It's like you were bitten by a Volkswagen-sized spider, and now you're just waiting, paralyzed, for it to return and suck out your insides. Only the waiting can last months or years, and there's no spider venom; this incapacitation is purely self-induced. What you need to know is that it only gets worse; the longer you wait before you act, the harder it will be. The thing you also need to know is that it's never too late to step up and do something. Quit waiting, you delusional creature. Haven't you suffered enough? I guarantee that whatever you do now will hurt you less, in the long run, than not doing anything, and, even if it stings a bit now, you won't regret it.
I think that's a very funny way to describe the inertia in my life.

And I think it's a good time for me to focus on a new direction. So I'm kind of excited about this and will post my process over on Lisa's Master Cleanse thread because she has kindly invited me to do it that way.
