Lift, Train, Fitness

So back in the ancient days of the 1990s when mrs brawny was pregnant with # 1 son I bought this book called " what to eat while your expecting" and I cooked a lot to be a supportive hubby. I remember thinking wow everyone should eat like this all the time. It was like an explosion of veggies and lean meats.
 
Feeling sick again this morning, don't really feel like hitting the gym, but I will anyway, also need to get my daily 5 k in.

I fucking hate cup day, everybody seems to loose their mind, but at least we don't live in Victoria, they go nuts down there, a state public holiday for a stupid horse race.

I have another scan tomorrow, should be able to see a heartbeat this time.
 
Hmpf, I should be getting to the gym as well and am not motivated at all. But I don´t have the excuse of being pregnant, so I´d better hop to it! Heartbeat sounds exciting!
 
I hate horse racing.. they do it in UK a lot and loads of horses die every year. Hate it.

I don't know if this is "the man" in me, but I have NO idea what the hell I'm looking at there, HAHAHA.

A face? Is that a head or a leg? Does it already have hair? Is it an alien face staring right at me with it's big space eye and disapproving frown?
 
All ultrasounds look like aliens lol but a bit easier to understand when the person doing the scanning is pointing bits out and explaining what they are, but hubby was fascinated by the flickering bit on the screen which was the heart beat, at this stage bub is 7mm long measured from head to bum

Yay for healthy scans! I had a kidney scan ten years ago and got a print-out showing all was well. Had the thing up on my pinwall for two weeks and not one person noticed it and did NOT think I was pregnant :p

Dude, that picture looks disgusting, HAHAHA. It's like a jelly bean that someone stepped on. I can't believe Jen and I are trying to MAKE one of those things. Eww, honey...you're going to have one of those things growing inside of you, HAHAHA.
 
Hopefully by the end of tomorrow I will have more reliable internet, having a dish set up to access the Sky Muster satellite, still slow and expensive compared to people living in town but the NBN rollout stopped 2 km short of our house.

not nauseous today but still tired, will hit the gym this arvo

eating has been good over the last few days but hubby must be a saint putting up with my mood swings lately.
 
The tech should be arriving at 11:30 today to install the satellite dish

no nausea so far today, I have been doing some extra cleaning before the tech gets here, but honestly there is not much I can do with hubbies junk room where the connection will come into the house lol not that it can remain a junk/computer room when the baby comes.

will hit the gym tonight, eating has been good the last few days.

This might just be a bit TMI for the guys here but my tits have been bloody sore and it is almost time to go bra shopping as pregnancy makes those puppies grow and I have gone up at least a cup size.
 
Boobs! I remember boobs. Some are good memories- pregnant & breastfeeding, others not so good-fat!
I'm quite happy these days having little ones :)
 
The Satellite tech injured himself on the job before ours, so no new internet connection, my current connection is sooooo patchy and not much faster than dial up.

not so much when your boobs are already DD

When I bench press, the bar does not need to move very far with a combination of very short arms and big tits lol


It has also been bloody hot today, hubby has been on standby for rural fire callout and I really hope we get a cooling storm later tonight, sub-tropical heat and pregnancy are a very uncomfortable mix.
 
I watched a video of bodybuilders trying ballet and I sort of wondered about that exact problem for one the guys.
 
Exercise: 5k walk, no lifting, too tired
Food: not so queezy today, managed to get my protein in, hard to eat enough when you feel sick
