I just need a bit of a vent

I cannot understand the stupidity of some people, working at the soccer today I had supporter of one of the clubs come into the sports medicine shed, they asked if they could wait there for one of the club official, I am easy going most of the time and let them stay (I didn't have to) however they then stood below and facing the no smoking sign and lit up :( :( :( this is not only very very wrong but also illegal, they then felt within their rights to bitch, complain and threaten to report me lol when told to leave, which they eventually did. the officials for that club are not happy with their supporters as the expected outcome of the official report will be a club fine.

The supporters who done this are new and I don't think they will try anything with me again.

heading back into the fields in a few minute as a spectator to watch hubby and son play, and needed to vent so I don't snap at idiots I may encounter this arvo.

vomited today but nausea not as bad.

A laudable plan... Some people are just too self-possessed and annoying.

feeling a little better today, I have gained a little weight appropriate to my stage of pregnancy

Nausea is definitely improving, still frustrated I cannot train however I can start to get my eating back on track rather than just eating whatever I can keep down, I do have a few food aversions bot nothing awful and minimal cravings.

So good to hear you´re starting to feel better! Sucks about not being able to train but being able to eat and not puke all day sounds like a great improvement.

Feeling bloated today but not overly nauseous. Going to be a long shift at work tomorrow, hopefully not as eventful as last week. My sons team will be feeling the effects of the fallout after the all in brawl last week, was probably a good thing he didn't play due to work commitment or there would have been more red cards however the arsehole from the other team that started it all unsurprisingly didn't come to the sports medicine room to have his well deserved broken nose seen to.

It is so hard to pull off the appearance of being neutral sometimes lol

Diet is improving as the Nausea lessens, still not allowed to exercise.

I was preparing an info sheet about studies looking at static stretching, thought I would post it here as well in case anybody finds it useful.

remember static stretching is harmful to performance, and does not prevent soreness or injury. Dynamic stretching improves performance.

It was a relatively stress free day yesterday, minimal injuries to deal with, no brawls, fights or arsehole spectators and for the bonus win no vomiting :D

feeling drained and bloated this morning but otherwise ok, going to rest before our regular roleplaying game tonight, good fun but mentally tiring as I I am the DM.

Doc keeps checking to make sure I am following orders for no exercise, had a blood test done yesterday morning in prep for Nuchal scan on Thursday.

Seeing as I can't train at the moment I think I might start putting together some basic training programs and posting them here for people to use, some ideas for me to look at preparing is home workouts with no equipment (household goods only), at home with minimal equipment, gym machine only, gym with free weights. Special requests considered.

Hi Tru, I am always impressed with how active you are and involved you are in your community, even when you are feeling less than your best. It's so important to be passionate about something in life and your posts show how much you are committed to your family and to your fitness and diet. That's really cool.

You should also enjoy being able to kick back for a while, 9 months goes by so fast, it is great to give yourself a little break from the exercise and just relax into your pregnancy. Thanks for the offer of the training programmes as well, I prefer group classes because I am poor at self-motivation but that's really generous of you.

not been such a good day today, if I am feeling ok tomorrow I will write up a basic Dynamic warmup routine to be done before training to reduce injury risk and improve performance.

Yay for reduced nausea :) Broken noses, well-deserved or otherwise, sound painful. What sport does your son play again? I'm always interested in warm-up ideas, would love to see your routine.

My youngest is a Sub Junior powerlifter holding 2 Australian records and he plays soccer most Saturdays work permitting.

Congrats on your pregnancy!! I'm so sorry about all the nausea and vomiting. Hopefully it'll stop soon since you're in your 2nd trimester now. I can totally relate about being so tired. Evenings are the worst for me, as I just want to take a nap, but it's the most inconvenient time to get tired. :drooling: Haha!

Also, way to go with sticking to Keto while pregnant! I did keto last year (20c•75f•120p) and lost a ton of fat and put on lean muscle mass. As soon as I found out I was pregnant, I completely gave up keto, but I find myself missing it. I am enjoying carbs too much at the moment to make the switch though. :/
