Lift, Train, Fitness

thanks all.

Not as sick today, been able to keep some food down, it is a good thing that I have the time to get extra sleep during the day as I have been exhausted.

Feeling sick and tired, hubby hates seeing me like this.

getting some more good rain today.

as I am sitting here, I can hear the loud chirps of the first chick to hatch in the incubator, more will hatch today.

hard to think or work on the computer when all you feel like doing is vomiting. neither Ginger biscuits or ginger and apple tea are good second time around.

& glad you can take a nap during the day. You're doing all the right things Tru :)
Edit- We are having some well needed rain too. Isn't it refreshing?

I have not been very active on the forum over the last few days, being sick every day takes its toll.

I would say I´m sorry you´re still feeling sick but since it makes you feel everything is going well... I´ll just wish you well :) Not surprised you´re saving your energy for more important things.

So far so good today, have not vomited but still plenty of nausea.

I have mixed feelings about the scan I am due to have on Thursday, I want to see the results but the is so much pressure on my bladder I am seriously worried that I wont be able to hold all the water I have to drink before the scan.

Even though I was sick for the entirety of my pregnancies with my three boys, it is worse this time, hubby is concerned because there is a family history of twins in my family.

I have not been able to get into the gym for a week, not even to coach :(

just feeling sooooo drained.

youngest son got me a new dragon yesterday, so hopefully some assembly and painting will take my mind off how I feel.

Diet wise, I have been ok but not perfect. trial and error finding what I can keep down.

Twins... I guess it would give you the new excuse of eating for 3 if you ever stopped the nausea...

Seriously - you need to take a lot of care of yourself - and just rest up if you are not up to doing things... Your children will keep you busy for the energy you have without thinking of the gym.

Try not to worry too much about the drinking before the scan - the worst that could happen regarding your bladder would be no real problem... There is nothing new to medical staff. You could pop a change of clothes into your bag to keep you confident about coping in case of mishaps.

Well done for keeping your diet ok.

Not feeling too bad today, only vomited once. Have managed to keep an early lunch down, home made spiced rissoles (no breadcrumbs) chillies and herbs from the garden and stuffed with cheese :D

my thoughts are with those north of me this morning, we won't feel the after effects from cyclone Debbie until Thursday when 120 kph are expected from the then ex cyclone. unfortunately this is also the day I will have to drive into town for scans.

raining all night and pissing down rain today, no wind yet but we are now under a flood watch alert, chances are I won't be working at the football on Saturday, likely to be cancelled again like last weekend, however I do hope my sports med shed stays above the flood-line this time if the river busts its banks. Cleaning stinking mud out of buildings after a flood is the WORST chore.

vomited at 4am this morning, have to keep something in my stomach at all times otherwise nausea and dry retching gets worse.

hard to keep diet in check on top of being under doc orders for no exercise. However my Docs suggestion of drinking Milo when I get heartburn works perfectly.

Ex TC Debbie is not done yet

warnings not to drive unless essential, schools are not closed but recommending parents keep kids at home due to wind and risk of flash flooding, many businesses will be closed (son has been told not to come to work today and tomorrow) but hubby just left for work at one of the local high schools.

hubby commented on the empty shelves at the supermarket last night due to panic buying.

lots of heavy rain last night and still heavy now, expected to get worse. our home is on high ground which means no flooding for us but at greater wind risk this afternoon when then damaging wind is supposed to hit.

time to get ready to drink my water and drive into town for scan.
