Lift, Train, Fitness

Oh, Try. Just caught up with with your diary. I think I'm getting a chest infection. I hope I'm wrong. I wish I had your doctor.

Not feeling any better this evening, sweltering in the heat and will have some low level worry as hubby is assigned to the fire front for an overnight shift tonight. Hopefully bub sleeps ok and her cough doesn't keep her awake.

Feeling marginally better but also feeling a little disturbed by something hubby told me he just learned last night. If a koala runs towards you on fire, put them out super quick any way you can because they can explode and shoot sharp bone shards in a 10 metre radius.

Sounds horrible. Did he see that happen or hear it from someone who personally did?
He did not say but there are koala in the area he was last night.

I know there is a myth about them spontaneously combusting in heat, but the heat of a hot day is a bit different to them actually being on fire and eucalyptus explodes with quite a bang in fire.

Naturally. But Australia has been dealing with koalas and bushfires for a long time so if it would happen even rarely you´d expect it to be an official fact. The oils are mixed with a lot of water and very little oxygen inside a koala, making it hard to get an explosive mixture. Maybe if they have severe digestive issues including heavy bloating? Probably wouldn´t be running then, though.

either way, it is a nasty thought, and I have sugested to hubby that somebody might just be pulling his leg.

I was feeling a little better, tried to go into town to get a couple of things, just driving and light walking in town left me struggling to breathe, sitting at home now feeling bloody awful and frustrated I can't get anything done. Hubby took bub into childcare this morning so at least I don't need to chase her around today.

I know how frustrating it can be to be forced to sit still and feel useless. Hope your body keeps forcing you to take it easy as long as necessary though.

It must be really hard for you being a such as an active person to just take it easy but your body needs you to. I hope you get better soon, Tru xo

Breathing a little better this morning.

Last night hubby asked if I needed to carry so much fitness equipment in my car all the time  said it would be nice if I actually had spots for passengers to sit :willy_nilly:

he could be right, my FMS kit takes up a lot of space, my gym bag, a bag with TRX straps, 2 agility ladders, agility poles, parachute for developing running speed, cones, boards for bench press, I think my 25 kg medicine ball could be in there as well. hmm he could be right, time to clean out the car and store stuff where it belongs lol

:rotflmao:
Not going to read that article at this point. I´m sure it´s sensible and interesting but for now I´m happy I´ve got something that works for me and want to keep track of that.

Lots of smoke in the air again this arvo, I think it is from the Fraser Island fire. which is producing a lot of smoke, it is never good when world heritage areas are on fire.

today I was able to fully extend my left arm overhead and only had my left arm pull away from the wall at the very top of wall angels. This is a good improvement and shows my adhesive capsulitis is slowly beginning to unfreeze. Still requires a lot of concentration to keep scapula retracted correctly during exercise.

time to get on the floor to do floor angels whilst on the foam roller.

Breathing is continuing to improve, probably back at the gym Friday after doc appointment tomorrow.

Good to hear you're improving, Tru.
