1 ounce = 28 grams (if we're dealing with solid measures)
1 ounce = 30 ml (if we're dealing with liquid measures)
1 cup = 240 ml
Years ago,I bought a great cookbook in the UK, I spent hours converting all the recipes from metric to something I could understand
then there's the abbreviationsounce = oz, pound = lb

Hello! Just wanted to say Hi!! LOL I can't imagine trying a recipe and not knowing the what everything is!! Good for you for doing it!!![]()
Hello there my friend, I hope your having a really good day today. Are you walking now? Are you feeling better?
Congrats to the BF, oh yi-ah!!
I tried to give you rep and it said, "You have given too much rep in the past 24 hours, yada yada"--pshaw!
This is all so touching, yay!
awww thanx everyonei am trying hehe
ok i have another question. when it says that you can have 1 cup of rice. is that 1 cup of cooked or uncooked rice?
When it says you "can" have one cup of rice, it sounds like this is out of some kind of food plan and probably means one cup of cooked rice. That is the most rice I would eat in one meal while controlling the amount of carbohydrates. On my plan, one serve of carbohydrate = 1/2 cup of rice.
If you are following a recipe and it says 1 cup of rice, that probably means uncooked.
I'm glad you're feeling back on track!!It's great that you're doing so well with your exercise despite the lack of a gym too.
