Hey all nice to see you kept this place warm for me :D
well i had lots of fun yesterday, i was at work and i was in such a speed mode hehe, my bosses were completely blown away. i have so much energy. must be those 2 lbs off hehe.
after work i had lunch with my friend who i haven't seen in 6 months. she is going to States in august, to Notre dame, to do some kind of research at a philosophy institute or something. and she was living three years in budapest so she was giving me pointers lol. good thing is i will be in a dormitory which has its own gym and the food is apparently very good and has lots of healthy choices. so i'm happy about that.
after the lunch we walked about two miles and just had some really fun discussions about skepticism and free will and God. i missed such philosophical debates.
so today i'm working a bit from home, and i don't really mind, i'm so full of positive energy.
i also measured myself and i lost two inches in my waist and 3.5 inches in my lower stomach since late march :D

That made me so happy to read you had such a great day!! and the inches, IMPRESSIVE!!! Now aren't our girlfriends wonderful!!! I tell ya what, I don't know what I would do without my friends. They inspire us and help keep us going. YEAH TO GIRL POWER!! Well, I hope the rest of your weekend is as good as the last few days!! I look forward to hearing about your next inches lost. Keep it up!

i'm going out tonight to get even more positive energy lol :D yea i really love my girlfriends. they're amazing friends. and i know they will always be there for me. we all have our lives and sometimes we don't have much time for each other, but we're here if there is any need hehe
i just ate half of small (and i mean small) pizza, i made it with tomato sauce, peppers onnions and gouda cheese topped with olives and origano :D yummy stuff, but couldn't eat much.

I know - I was just so damn tickled that I decided maybe it IS better to change the ticker once a week as opposed to once a month ;)
 
had some fun yesterday :) went out with my girls and had few drinks and did a lot of dancing and got home at 4am :D i feel a bit sleepy now but i'll do some pilates exercises today so that might wake me up.

got some major compliments yesterday, from some strangers but also from friends who see me practically every day and they said they can notice a difference from only few days ago. awesome. i also see some difference, so that is definitely a good thing.
i have some texts i need to check for one of the professors... but that is ok, i have the urge to do something intellectual lol, i think i need to catch up on my philosophy :)

Sounds like you had a great night out!! Dancing is sooo much fun and what a great way to work out without feeling like it's a workout!!

hello everyone :)
so its wednesday and it feel like monday a bit. its raining, but i think the sun is eager to go through those clouds hehe.
today i'm having my salsa aerobics. unfortunately tina won't be there, she's out of town for this week, but i guess i'm gonna have to laugh by myself all the time.
before that i'll go and see my niece :D

as for my meals her it goes for today:

breakfast: two small sandwiches, one with turkey ham deluxe and one with cheese
lunch: i made myself 1 cup brown rice (first cooked and then i just stirfried for two minutes on tb spoon olive oil, half onion finely chopped, kurkuma season and some pamiggiano cheese) and one tomato, half cucumber and one green pepper salad
dinner: peas and carrots with turkey breast fillet

Morning Lena!! thanks for the Rep, it still blows my mind when I receive one of those. HAHAHA I just say what I feel and if that helps people, then I guess I'm here for a purpose. :) I love your food choices today, mmmmm I'm now wondering if I should stop by the store and pick up some turkey, it's been awhile and I'm missing it after reading about your sandwiches. And SALSA!! ARIBA, ARIBA!! fun, fun, that is so worth going to! I hope you have a great time with the baby tonight, ENJOY it all!

well Kim you deserve that rep :)
again i'm busy like a bee, so i don't have much time to post. i weighed in this morning and i'm still at 211. which is ok, at least i'm not gaining lol. i realized my body has this tendency of losing 2 lbs every other week. i don't know why. anyone has an idea why let me know. actually this has been going on from the beginning of my losing weight. i lose one week and next one i'm standing still. is that ok?
 
Why would it not be ok, if it's your body's chosen way of doing this?
There's no regularity to this thing, nothing that you can forecast. And since there are so many things that affect the number on the scale, it's long term that counts anyway.
So I'm cheering your 2 lb loss every other week. It makes the perfect average of 1 lb a week, very healthy, very sustainable! Gooooo Lena! :D

hehe thanx juli, you always have this way of putting my mind in the right place lol.
i feel a bit bloated today. and exhausted. not so much mentally, but i feel my body really needs to rest for a few days. its a good thing that it is weekend coming.
 
It's really hard sometimes to balance between being really active and getting enough rest, both for body and mind. But at least the body fortunately seems to remind us to rest...
I hope you have the greatest Friday! Do you have plans for the weekend?

lol mal...i feel like i'm going into tilt mode soon.

i was planning on going out tomorrow night, but now i don't know because i'm so tired. i have a feeling like i could sleep through the entire weekend hehe.
i'll be going for a cup of coffee with friends today after work (in about 40 minutes). i just hope i don't fall asleep lol
