So last night i had and enjoyed my sushi! yum! NO even exercise, i fel i needed a break. i went to bed at 9 woke up at 4 and hit the gym. I 30 min of interval cardio, then full body. Man it took forever! i ended up getting out of there at 7:15. and i got there at 5:05! crazy. i think i did 11 or 12 different workouts, and man was it tiring. people were telling me that i no longer look "fat" but big and more athletic. i'll take it! I have to admit as hard as i usually am on myself, i am pretty happy with my progress! just gotta keep strong. i may not play tennis or run til the weekend because i am just a little worn. a couple more days of long sleep should make things better. anyway, how is everyone doing? later peeps!
 
Hey boy.... you are doing great. Its good to be hard on yourself :)...... plus... thats the whole reason you are successful. People who slack off and dont stay disciplined fall off the wagon....

i should know ive done that many times by now!!!


Looks like you had a good work out this morning!!! Lets see... about when you got up.... i was getting ready to wind down 3 more hours of sleep!!! :)

Sushi is one of my fave things...they even make it with brown rice at some places.

how are you enjoying our weather?? i love it. i should be out enjoying it more.

congrats at seeing 255 (doesnt the .2 just tick you off??? i hate those little ounce thingies....I guess I am very visual).

WOW! That is super that you have the energy to get up that early to go and do a killer workout like that. I cant even get up at 6:30 to do a 20 min power walk haha. Man, i need to take some of your morning energy and invest it in myself. My mind says i want to do something in the morning but my body sure doesn't. Did you have this dilemma to start as well? And, if so, how did you get through it?

Congrats on another lb lost since my last post in here! Keep it going! :)
 
thanks guys. MicheeH, you remind me on of melissa (m_marie) way back in feb when she asked me the same question. I never had a problem with it. Its a mind thing. as i said 30-something pages ago (lol it was a long time ago), I put myself first. which means the first thing that i do every morning is take care of me. mon-friday that means the gym, and even on the weekends tennis when i do play. getting up early just means i go to bed early. Melissa can tell you, i go to bed EARLY. i believe it was 8:30 last night, and i woke up at four to be at the gym by 5. I want this, and this is who i am now. I mentioned in your thread at the gym there are tons of am regs who i have become friends with. there is a couple of guys whom i've lost weight with and we continue to. There were 3 of us in the 300 plus club and all 3 of us are between 266 and 254. Its great to see the changes in us lol. I put it like this, if i can wake up to go to a job, i can wake up to go to the gym. because its my job to take care of my body. and i figure i should give it first dibs on the day lol. i'll be going to bed late because i got tennis at 7:30, but no later than 10. once you find a balance, it becomes second nature.
 
cardio thursday!

So I did cardio today! yay! 65 min (including 5 min cool down) 7 miles (new personal best) 1055 calories. this was a tuffy i tell you. I was pushing for more than 6.5 miles in 60 min. man was i tired shirt completely soaked and dripping. ewwww lol. i hit 6.66 (lol) miles in 60 min. which was hard to the core. but i feel good now after it. i always feel good afterwards so. i just decided to push a little harder, who knows in a couple weeks i could be at 7! anyway, not a big update. rain is here finally so no tennis or running. but i'll be back at it most likely tomorrow, which is supposed to be sunny and 81. so how is everyone doing? talk to yous later!

I love how you put that :) I think next week i will try to get up for 3 days (mon, wed, fri) before work and do something active for 30 mins or so. I still want to do my workouts in the evenings but i really think that i would also benefit from doing a lil something in the morning. I will definitely be taking what you said into consideration and when that alarm goes off at 6 i will have to say to myself..."my body deserves first dibs on today so get up and do something good for it"

hey guys about to hit the gym now! last night my tennis was canceld, so i went and ran a mile. 8.5 min was the time, which is not bad. This time i remembered to stretch after the run, so my calves did tighten up on me! i waked about another quarter mile to relax everything instead of just stopping. dinner was grilled shrimp hummus and broccoli (raw). mmmmm. lol. alright i'll post post workout to let you guys know how that went!

TGIF! todays workout went well. i was there for like 2 hours. it was tough! a lot of weights and i decided to rest a bit more this time between each set. talking to the guys they were saying that no rest with amount i do doesn't allow me to maximize my gains and i start getting sloppy at the end of my sets, so i rested and i feel much better. i feel like i hit each area and i'm glad they let me know. today i have tennis and bowling, and maybe i'll go for a mile run tomorrow. i'll try for to miles agian next week, i just want to build it up, even though i know i can do it. so what's everyone weekend plans. hope everyone has a good workout!
 
not much here. just going to try to enjoy it....try to get in workout both days...i am known for slacking on the weekend but i am going to try to get in a nice walk both days at least

feeling better now here...my plateau seems to have ended and its back to negatives on the scale...

isnt it amazing how you can accomplish so much through your work outs doing them YOUR way for the whole time... and then someone shares tidbits with you and it just maximizes your work out that much more!?!??! LOVE that... totally loveit. Thats like me and this new lifting program im trying out... man was i sore!!!! and ive been working legs and arms for awhile now... but these new motions with free weights etc... totally challange my body in new ways!!!


HOPE TENNIS WAS ROCKIN TODAY!!!!! :cool:
 
a little sunday update.

hey peeps, hope everyone is enjoying their weekend. my weekend is pretty done now, as i'll probably be sleep by 9 pm. yesterday it rained, but it dried up and i managed to get 1 hour of tennis in, which was nice. Today, i got about 2 hours in, before the rained ended our session. went out for a bit, came home and went for a nice run. managed 3 miles in 30 min, which is a new high for me! good times. i'm nowhere near as sore or cramped up as i was last week with the 2.2 miles, so it shows i'm importing! well tomorrow i weigh in and i'll see what i am. hopefully the numbers moved down. yesterday was kinda bad. was hanging out and partying. i had one slice of pizza and like 6 boneless wings. and some cake, but just a could of fork fulls. all in moderation. i should eb fine lol. oh i find i can fit into a size 34 pant, but its a bit too snug for my liking so i'll still claim 36 as my pant size.

Another monday

BLAAAAAAAAAAAH!

i am soooo blah today. went to bed at 11. woke up at 6, which was super late. wanted to be at work by at least 9:30, so i only one circuit of weights and 30 min of cardio, which was intervals. at work now and i still feel tired... blaahhhh. weighed in and dropped another pound, which is two pounds from last moday, but one from the my cheat weigh in lol. tickers moving down, 80lbs here i come. this is pretty exciting. i feel no pain from the 3 mile run, so i guess that means i stretched properly before and after the run. i may try 3.5 miles next sunday, we'll see. tonight is tennis and perhaps i'll run a mile when i get home. debating what i want for lunch. sometimes i feel i don't enough. then other times i feel that i eat more on some days than others and it balances out. we'll see i guess.

oh and THANKS BARE!!!! i love your support.
