Although I have just lost my tennis buddy:(Im gonna look into lessons and finding a new buddy to play with.

i was a bit of a pain in gym class always trying to get out of things...i was in the gym club...loved floor & box work but hated doing anything else...hockey balls hurt!!! i was quite tidgey at school & was overshadowed by the tall girls in netball. i remember in a hockey game...realising i was in the right place for once...i shouted to the teacher to let her know (god knows why??! such a bloody attention seeker!! LOL) anyway she was just about to hit the ball in at that exact momnent & the ball came flying over, hit my knee & sent me flying...what do you think on purpose or did i just put her off??! knee swelled up & i passed out. but every cloud...i got out of gym class for a few weeks!!!:)

ok ok i am back! tennis was awesome! i was rusty as ever, but i was getting back into the groove towards the end of out session. yesterday i relaxed... something i hadn't done in 6 weeks. and it was nice to have a day off from the gum. but of course i was there today, with 65 min of cardio under my belt. excited about tomorrow as well. i don't know about weight though i am positive about it, and i have taken measures to prevent plateauing, but i may be there for a second. no worries, just makes me push harder. i also did my bowling, rocked ina high of 208, so i was happy about that. rock band was awesome as well. i'll be hitting other threads after dinner, i i'll chat you guys soon/1

so i did my workout today... great times. now the weigh in was today as well. 300.0! i couldn't get the -.1 pound! man o man. someone is playing a joke on me. oh well, next week for sure! anyway time to get ready for work.
 
today is the greatest....... day .....

Man, today i feel great! i had a killer day at the gym! I rocked that elliptical to no return. Today was the first time i hit over 8 miles in less than 60 min. I felt brand new today, which is good because sunday i forgot to eat before i hit the gym and my cardio was rather lackluster. I was famished. But today was completely different. i felt like i had infinite energy until the last 5-10 min.

Also i had my body fat % checked out. It turns out that my body fat percentage is 35%!! The trainer was absolutely shocked. to be in the healthy average, i need to be at 25%, which is the highest you can go. That is only 30 lbs of fat! which means i got a ton of muscle here! i mean seriously 270 is healthy body fat for me?!?! i'm only 5 foot 8 inches, so i am pretty stoked! i must be one buff dude under all this excess! anyway. time to be a little productive here at work.

8 miles in under 60 minutes????? i can do that on an exercise bike.... but NOT on the eliptical..... id fly off the damn thing if i was going that fast...... you got velcroe on your shoes or something????

upped my game a bit this wk re exercise...i've done a few dance workouts dvds that i really enjoyed...but i'm still waaaaay behind you in the commitment stakes...
 
i forgot to mention... the worst thing about cardio days, and today especially, is my shirt.
Man its like i bathed with it on! It literally can be rung out it is so soaked with sweat! i could fill a pool in a couple weeks! well. a kiddie one anyway... but yeah craziness!
 
Good morning all!

Hey everyone, just throwing out a big Goood Morning to all! I am about to trek over to the gym to do the dreaded "leg day" i hope they can survive! be back in an hour or so with results!

Yup. Spaghetti legs. That is the result of today's leg workout. A lot of work indeed. I hope this week i am not as sore as i was last week after doing legs. am still dealing with my back from monday's chest and back workout. I feel great, other than wobbly legs! ah, the joys of a good workout....

the best part is the drive home... i have a manual car so when i push in the clutch my whole leg shakes!!!! lol

i can't tell you enough how efficient this is for me. I love it. I swear for me now its like a job. you just do it. you don't complain and you don't whine, you just do it. I mean i went to bed at midnight last night, which left me only 5 hours of sleep. the thought of just not going never crossed my mind, just that i'll have to work a little harder due to lack of sleep. i feel great right now (although sleepy) and i feel like it everyday! by now people think i obsessed with it, and maybe i am, but its an obsession i can live with the rest of my life!
 
more number crunching..

so i was doing more calculations with my new found body fat percentage, and i realized something. if my goal was to get down to 14% body fat, which is on the cusp of fitness and athlete level, i would weigh 237, if i only lose fat. hitting my goal would me one of two things. i will shrink, losing muscle mass and such, or i will only have 2-3% of body fat. the latter won't happen so i may end up being a little heavier than i anticipated. no worries. i'll still keep my current goal and see what happens on my journey there! good night all gym is calling for in in 7.5 hours

well here i am... another day down. today's carsio day was better than tuesday's,surprisingly. i ened up with a total of 9.03 miles in my 65 min, and the woman on the elliptical next to me was in shock. she was thoroughly impressed. made me happy. i talked to a guy at the gym who is pretty much in a race with me to get below 300. he started at 391 and is at 302 now, so its gonna be close. i feel quite good about this week, so i have high hopes for next week, but not too high. catch you guys later.
 
Great job on your elliptical workouts. I haven't been on one of those in years so I don't really have a point of reference, but 9 miles in 60 min sounds pretty damn impressive. That's also sweet news about your body fat percentage. Has to be nice to learn that you might have 25 pounds less to lose!

I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that you'll have some kind of huge drop this Monday. You'll be expecting 299 and get something crazy like 295! So who's with me in the betting pool?
 
who tied my arms up!?

Well today was bis and tris (biceps and triceps) day, along with some shoulders. my upper arms are like KNOTS! crazy. Its going to be sunny and 40 degrees, so because we are so hardcore tennis may be in the forecast. today as an early day, as i am already at work. want to start the weekend off early so i went in early. was at the gym by 5:30am, out by 7, and at work by 7:25. not bad, not bad..

Schwa, thanks for the vote of confidence, if i do have a huge loss, then i will give you optimism credit for the loss! hahah.. to further my statement about how much i need to lose, there is a guy there in tip top shape who is about 5 foot 7 and weighs 202. he has a significantly smaller frame than me, so unless i turn into a skinny mini, then i will definitely be over 200.

way to go on the arms!!!! I need to work my arms... ive been focusing on my legs and ass because those seem to be my trouble spots....... however... i really would LOVE to eliminate my bingo arms LOL ( aka- cafeteria arms as well)


Way to go with the early morning work outs... still have yet to get my butt there in the morning except like... 8:30 am on weekends... but that doesnt really count.
Ive set my alarm early and i always hit the snooze.... then end up resetting it to go off normal time.. no matter how early i go to sleep.

anyways, have an awesome weekend!!!!! I am excited to be OUT OF WORK for a few days again... ugh... LONG WEEK
