Kez tries again!!!

Hey Kez, AWESOME job keeping up those workouts and doing the swimming even when your arms are screaming!! LOL I'm so happy to hear a lift in your spirit when I read your posts each day to, I can feel a difference right away, you sound happier and you should, your doing a wonderful job. Keep it up!

Goals for today

1) Walk 30 mins
2) Swim 22 lengths in 40 mins (up by 2 lengths from last time!) This may be a struggle as my arms and shoulders are already aching from boxing yesterday, but I'll give it a bloody good shot! Even if it takes longer.
3) Stick to 1700 cals (This should give me a deficit of well over 1000, and be enough to stop me feeling hungry)
4) Drink 2L water

Did 1 and 3 fine. In the end I went for a run instead of a swim coz arms were sore but I'm going today! And the run was GREAT!!! I only managed about 1.5L water, even though I went for a run in the sun which wasn't great!

I'm glad for your good day yesterday. Are you still working in a supermarket? With drunk customers on Saturdays?

Good luck with those magic looking goals. :)

Thanks and yes the customers can be horrible!! (we're a 24 hour supermarket int he middle of a student area- a recipe for disaster!)

Great Exercise Goals!! Let us know how they go! I like the water one too! I need to start setting water goals - in fact, you've inspired me to go do that now! :jump:

~Nicole~

Yay!!!

I love how you're varying your program. Keep that body guessing so that it doesn't get too comfortable. Great job on all that exercise.

Thanks C!!

You're still doing good though Kezzy. One day with a few extra calories won't hurt. :)

I do have to say, the white wine and the cherrios for dinner made me laugh. Tell me Kezzy, what grape goes best with breakfast cereal. :rotflmao:

Nice to see that great verdict yesterday - and also to know that you are still on track here overall.

LOL at Kaika!! :)

Hey Kezzy. Hope all is well for you. Your calories don't look too bad and even if you didn't make it to the gym at least you got some exercise in. Have a great weekend :)

Hey all!

Unfortunately yesterday was a very unhealthy day for me and I ended up with a calorie surplus of 400.

Disappointing, but it doesn't mean anything, and I can easily more than make up for it today :)

I just have to make sure it doesn't happen again

I have just got back from the gym and feel good and very pumped!!

My running is going GREAT!! At the beginning of the couch to 5k plan I was so puffed after only 60 secs of running, and I looked at the schedule for the few weeks ahead convinced that I wouldn't be able to do it, but not only am I doing it, I am also loving it, and I am also ahead with the plan!!!!

So what with the gym and a very long shift at work today, and walking to work and back, I am on track to burn almost 3500 cals today. So I'm aiming to eat between 1800-2000 cals.

Hey! Thats great about the running!! It always feels good when you notice your body getting healthier! It's also good that you're not fretting about an unhealthy day - they're bound to happen and as long as you get back on track, it's all good ;)

Keep it up!

This makes me smile. Congradulations! I'm loving that you're loving it :)

All I can say Kez is GREAT JOB!!! And how funny I re-read some of your past days, and I guess I missed it the first time, that you were eating Cheerios and Wine for dinner. LOL LMAO!! That's the funniest thing I've read in a long time. However, it actually sounds pretty good to me. LOL That's really the funny part. I have a nice bottle of sweet red chilling in my refridge for later tonight. mmmmm, you got me wanting some now. Enjoy your day!!! :)
Kim

Thanks everyone!! I've just got back from a swim and I'm progressing well there too! I did 22 lengths in 35 mins and my style is improving too.

I also sneaked into the gym to weigh myself and the scales say...

drum roll...

147lbs!!!!!!

For the record, yesterday was a bad day for food (although great for exercise) I got depressed at work and binged. 2 egg custard tarts, one brownie and a doughnut. And some wine. It was NOT a pretty sight. But I am feeling much more motivated today, especially with exercise going so well, and having seen I've lost some weight!!

22 lengths? U go gal!:)
147 lbs?! You ROCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:jump:

Sometimes a break once a while recharges our body for the journey ahead. U doing good, keep it up!
