Verdict

Not bad, but I really do think I am going to throw away the rest of that chocolate! I really don't have nearly enough will-power to limit myself to one square at a time! :rolleyes:
 
Yeah, I just threw the rest of the chocolate away! All mushed up and messy at the bottom of the bin. I feel better now! Earlier, when I was just watching telly, I couldn't stop thinking about that chocolate, sitting in the cupboard, and I was having like an inner mental argument with myself, trying to justify just scoffing it all on one go- I feel so much better now I don't have to make that *choice* whether or not to eat it!

I'll just not buy it in the first pace, next time :rolleyes:

So, my last exam is tomorrow. I've been revising, kinda half-heartedly, but its quite difficult, because as I've said before, the questions could be on anything that's been in the news recently, its a very general, 'argue-your-point' kinda paper, so it's kinda down to luck whether you happen to revise one of the topiucs they pick-coz obviously there are a million possibilities!

I've done a bit of reading about a few things: global warming, alternative medicine, vaccinations, drug companies, smoking bans, mobile phones and health, binge drinking, obesity, IVF, the human genome project etc, and I'm rather hoping some of these issues will come up! I only have to answer 2 questions out of 10, so the odds are in my favour, and at the end of the day, my understanding of this paper is that it is more to test the ability to argue, 'think outside the box', and general awareness of issues, than specific statistics etc. So with a pinch of luck I should be alright! And after that, well... I plan to spend the rest of the day in the pub! :jump: There is no doubt that I deserve it :rolleyes:

I will try to be vaguely sensible though, eg alternating alcoholic drinks with non-alcoholic. But I can't make any promises! Last year, when I walked out of the last exam... well, lets just say I let my hair down just a little too much!!!

Hey, don't worry--it's ok to party hardy once in a while--looks like you've been an absolute angel for a long time! Hey--congrats on the 151! Also the BF!! Tests are all so crazy...it's har dto dicipher what is right. And no test can really tell you 100% accurately. Hope you look and feel great!
 
Hey everyone!

so, this is the day after my last exam of my final year! I have officially finished uni... scary! :eek2:

The exam went OK yesterday, I think! I sorta had the rest of the day 'off', food wise, and it will probably be similar today, within reason.

Yesterday food
Muesli with berries and coffee
Tuna mayo sarnies
Bag crisps
Chocolate flapjack
Bowl curly fries with mayo
Bowl muesli for supper
Some popcorn (maple flavour)
LOTS of alcohol (half bottle wine, and probably 10-12 further units, various combos of spirits and mixer!)


Yeah, bad isn't it!! So, my exam finished yesterday at 12.30, and we went straight to the pub! We did a pub crawl down the high street, then at 7 we all went to our various homes, and at 8 all my friends came to my house and we had a mini party til midnight! There were about 12 of us squeezed into my little front room! We watched telly and listened to music and ate and drank and played drinking games and talked and just generally celebrated all night!

I also found out yesterday that two of the group have finally officially got together! So they're all cuddley and coupley now its so cute!

I had various conversations throughout the day/night. One where I mentioned to my friend Luke something along the lines of how I'm trying to lose some weight. He got quite exasperated (sp?) and went off on one about how annoying girls were, and how I didn't need to lose weight, and how I look perfect, and I was (I quote) "slap bang in the middle of gorgeous" !!!! Which was nice to hear I suppose! And I had ANOTHER ego boosting conversation at the end of the night with a really good friend of mine, Kerry. Now, she has a VERY high alcohol tolerance level, and I have honestly never seen her properly drunk til last night! But she really was, and she was going on and ON about how gorgeous I was, and how she is desperate to have kids who look just like me (red hair, pale skin, and freckles!), and how if she DOESN'T have kids who look like me she'll come and steal me away from Dave and adopt me!! It was all VERY wierd, in a brilliantly alcohol-fuzzed, kind of a way, but obviously I'll take it as another compliment!

AND! I've just remembered, when I walked into the bedroom after everyone had gone last night, Dave was saying how gorgeous I looked, and how in year 6 one of his friends told him he'd end up with a beautiful girlfriend and he never believed him but he has! There must be something in the water :rolleyes: of course all this made me feel good though, and I'll take it! :rotflmao:

One blot on the memory of yesterday... I was walking throught the dark living room on my way to the bathroom last night, and I'd forgot that we'd rearranged the furniture to fit everyone in (bear in mind that I was also considerabley intoxicated by this point!), and I fell over a stool thing, quite dramatically! So this morning I have bruises on my legs, and my wrists are sore, but worsed I managed to bang my neck on the furniture (don't ask me how I managed to do that?!?! :rolleyes: ) so this morning I woke up with a nasty graze and a bruise on my neck! It's quite sensitive and achey but nothing serious and hopefully will be better by tomorrow!

It's now 1.20pm, I have deliberately planned (for a LONG time!) not to attempt to do anything today, just to chill! So despite having woken up at 7 (without trace of a hangover, I never get hangovers, I'm so lucky!), I've only just got out of bed! Mainly coz me and Dave have spent most of the morning reviving our sex life (which has rather suffered under the stress of exams!) Plans for the rest of the day... We will maybe go for a long walk, maybe go to the cinema, maybe go out tonight for a curry, hopefully all of the above!

And we have an appointment with our travel agent tomorrow, who is helping us plan our year-round-the-world trip, so today we have to do some talking and planning about that as well, which should be fun! EVERYTHING has been on hold for the past few weeks lol! But finally things will be getitng back to norma l:jump:

There's lots more I could say actually, but I think this post is plenty long and rambley and irrelevant enough! PLUS I have to go and clear up the house after last night shenanigans, before Dave gets back from his- the house looks like its been hit by a bomb lol!

slap bang in the middle of gorgeous :) wow that's a wonderful thing to hear... and properly drunk just made me laugh :) can you be improperly drunk? :D I want the video if you can.. you english have such cute expressions :)

Congrats on finishing uni - that's so exciting for you.... :)
 
Sounds like you had a proper celebration for ending exams!! It's always nice to have people say lovely tihngs about you ;) A nice boost of confidence

End of Uni parties. Can't beat them!
Its OK to have a few days off every now and again. I just have to stop myself having too many off days.:rotflmao:

So, yesterday was SUCH a great day!! We went to the cinema to see spiderman 3 (better than I expected!) Then Indian afterwards (I LOVE Indian food!!!)

So, as expected, yesterday was another terrible food day...

Muesli and berries, coffee, half wholemeal roll and honey for breakfast

2 packets cheese thins, muffin, half choc bar for lunch! :eek:

Chicken tikka dhansak with pilau rice and onion bhajis and salad for dinner!


BUT it could have been worse, because, for one, we WALKED to the cinema!! Its about 4 miles away, in town, and for some reason we've never walked it before, but almost all of the way, you can walk along the canal towpath and its gorgeous!! Such a lovely walk, so I must have walked off at least a bit of that terrible excuse for a lunch!!

And anyhoo....

No more days off!!! Back to counting calories and being good today. 2 days 'off' is more than enough!! :) I may go to the gym later, but I might have to go to work... now exams are finished I have to get back to earning money ha ha!! But we are going to the travel agents in a bit, which means if nothing else I'll get my hours walk in today. If I have to work I may try and do an exercise dvd in the evening too.

So, off to start the day!! I'll try and catch up on some of your diaries when I can :rolleyes:

Good! Today will hopefully cancel out any calorie surplus from the last 2 days :)
 
Today has been odd due to funny working times! So I've kinda had 3 dinners... AND I've eaten a LOT too!!! But I've also done lots of exercise so I guess it could be worse!!
