Hey everyone! Thanks for all the support
I have FOUR pieces of good news for you all!
1)
I am 153lbs as of this morning!

(And I REFUSE to moan about how 'it's only a pound'! I am so HAPPY that that one pound of fat is off my body-I worked damn hard for it!)
2)
My exam went great! In one or two of the essays I spent too long waffling at the beginning, and didn't leave enough time for detail at the end, and I forgot a couple of little details about things, but apart from that it really couldn't have gone much better!
3)
I have (so far) resisted the temptation to 'treat myself' to food as a reward for finishing the exam. I was feeling REALLY hungry afterwards (had breakfast stupidly early coz was up cramming!) and I wanted doughnuts, crisps, chocolate, ice cream, all the baddies... I had to drag myself through the high street, full of tempting shops, to get home, but I did and I ate my nice, big HEALTHY lunch as planned, and the cravings are still there but much less and I intend to keep it that way!
4)
It has FINALLY stopped raining! It's been raining, LOTS, for DAYS here (I had to sit through my exam with freezing cold, soaking wet shoes and socks lol!

) But the sun is just starting to come out
Strategy for resisting cravings for the rest of the day:
Probably some of my hunger feelings are actually thirst, I haven't had a
drink since before my exam- ie 5 hours

so step 1 in defeating
cravings = drink lots of water, and a cup of tea! (I'm drinking water as I
type!)
Step 2) eat an apple, a handful of trail mix and a cereal bar to make sure
I'm nice and full!
Step 3) Then I'll brush my teeth! That always helps.
Step 4) I might have a nap! I've got time and I'm less likely to eat if I'm
not sleepy.
Step 5) If, after all that, the cravings are still crazy (which I don't think
they will be-I think it's mostly psychological) I will go and get something,
but I'll make it fairly good! Like, half a bar organic dark choc, something
like that...
