Hey thanks everyone!

Well, two down one to go now, but this really is the beginning of the end, coz as I said the last one is very general, hard to revise for, and pretty much impossible to fail!

Todays went well I think, well it should have done, I put the work in!

So I've been to town and bought some running shoes! No more putting off couch to 5k- 5k here I come! They are New Balance shoes, reduced from £60 to £39.99, they felt very springy and supportive when I tried them on, and they came with a free pedometer and body fat analyser- so I couldn't resist! I'm looking forward to trying them out :)

Flippin 'eck I'm REALLY headachey this morning! Probably as I have not had any coffee today, for the first time in a LONG time!! I'm gonna try and resist though, I like coffee and am happy to drink it but getting headaches without it is a sign I am a tad addicted, and being addicted to ANYTHING is not something I'm willing to accept! :mad:
 
It doesn't help that we have builders in today. AGAIN! This time fitting a new fire door. We don't need a big, heavy, automatically closing fire door! We just have a normal house! Grrr... :mad:

Oh, I used my body fat analyser for the first time last night. Here it is:



It said 30.6%, which I was fairly pleased about coz its well within the healthy range! Then I did it again this mornign (it said its more accurate) and it said 29.2%! I don't really know what my ideal BF % would be, 22% is minimum to be healthy, so I guess 25% would be a good first thing to aim for!

So, considering my BF is within healthy, but my BMI is still (just) overweight, that must mean I've got lots of muscle, I guess (or very heavy bones lol!) which is great!

I'm not convinced how accurate the thing is, to be honest, but I guess it will give me an idea, and let me know trends etc! especially if I use averages. So, I'm planning do it every Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday mornings, first thing, then on monday work out those 4 as an average, then post that along with my weight on Monday, let's see how that goes!
 
Here it is! I warn you-very odd meals today! Tomorrow I intend to make a meal plan then go shopping and get back into the habit of cooking properly! I also intend to go to the gym for the first time in aaages.

Hey all!

Today has been a good day so far :) I went to the gym this morning and it was GREAT!!

Not only did I do week 2 session 2 couch to 5k on the treadmill, and I used the stationary bike, elliptical, rowing machine, weights and ab trainer, BUT on all the weights and the ab trainer I added more weights and I still did all my reps! I felt SO pumped afterwards, after I'd had a shower and some breakfast etc, I actually thought I could feel the endorphins pumping around my veins! :jump:

And although I was tired, I am only slightly achey now, and I felt I recovered quicker than usual too- my heart rate slowed down, and my red face returned to its normal colour, quicker than usual :rolleyes:

It makes me feel good, that even though I'm not losing weight at the mo (I weighed this morning and actually seem to be back up to 154- how is that possible?! :mad: ) I can see and feel the improvements in my body and fitness levels- which helps me to care much less about the lack of scale co-operation!

Any minute now some frineds are coming over, to celebrate a birthday. They are all getting pizza and eating a big birthday cake we cooked earlier. This is where my good day could fall down! BUT I've just eaten a HUGE plate of a kinda stew thing I made, which has nothing but veggies in (leeks, onions, mushrooms, sweetcorn, carrots and corgettes, in a spicy lemon and tomato sauce I made) and I had a lo cal hot choc drink too, now I feel STUFFED and all ready to face the pizza temptation and win! I am also only going to have a sliver of choc cake. I helped make it earlier- and ate a spoonful of the cake mix already! (I guessed about 150cals worth :rolleyes: ) So just a sliver will do me! If I feel myself wanting more I'll just brush my teeth lol!

Right, I'll come back on later to post todays stuff- and hopefully will be feeling all proud of resisting all the naughty temptations that will be put in front of me this evening! :jump:

WOW Kez excellent workout, your a maniac for doing all those machines and cardio on one workout, that's awesome! I do the bike and elliptical and I'm done for! You are certainly amazing girl! Remember when I wrote about my inches lost then two weeks later the scale finally moved, take your time, it will drop I promise you that. Don't give up and keep plugging along with those workouts and you WILL see results! And pizza is fine as long as you can stop at one nice slice, and cake too, a sliver is not going to hurt you. Stay on top of it, and you will not fail!! I know you can resist girlfriend, you know you need to, to get to that goal weight. Keep up the fantastic work, you are awesome!:rotflmao:

Awesome resistance!!!! I can't do 100% no cake sliver, if I helped cook it!! :D You are really doing wonderfully well. Feeling fitter and smaller definitely counts a bunch more than those tricksy scales! :D
 
Thanks guys! Though I did have a big slice of that cake today :rolleyes: AND Dave is doing a roast dinner tonight! :eek: AND we're not going to be eating til late, and I am already hungry and wanting to snack, so today is probably going to prove to be not half as good as yesterday! :eek:

Fantastic!! Weighing tomorrow... I am not hopeful as my scales are so mean to me! But fingers crossed anyway :rolleyes:
 
Good luck with the scales - they will have to behave themselves eventually - you just keep up your example of excellent behaviour, and ignore them and they will have to toe the line. :)
