Kez, I feel your pain!! Less than a week to go til my exams start too, but at the mo im still finishing (erm starting!) my last assingment, I NEED this finished so I can get on with revision, I think after dinner Im gonna have to do your unplugging the internet tip, boooo!!!

Loving your attitude on the no loss too, you had a fab fab week last week, we can all see that from your posts, and if you keep that kinda exercise up you will be mega fit in no time, which i think is something to be really proud of :)

Good luck x

Not great, mainly coz of rice pud! But considering the day I've had, the fact that I managed to get out of the house for a walk, and ended up with a deficit, is quite a feat!

Thanks everyone for support, tomorrow WILL be a better day, and one way or the other, this final exam business will all be over soon anyway!

Remember one of the key elements of preparing for exams is RELAXING :). Make sure to take some non-study time so your brain doesn't overload. I know what you mean about wanting days to end though! Sounds like you're working like crazy!!

Stay positive and confident ;) and TAKE BREAKS :D

~Nic~

...
And this sounds odd, but it felt bad in a good way! I mean, I was VERY out of breath (that's my main prob with all exercise actually) and muscles achey and stuff, but at one point when I was doing one of the running intervals, I actually felt like a runner! Like I didn't look silly and out of place! And I felt so happy and almost powerful! That sounds so silly I'm sure, but I can't think of any other way to explain it. I'm looking forward to the day when I can get that feeling without the terrible out-of-breathness!

When I got back from my run (about 8am) I had a shower then went back to bed for a while! Lots of fun with the bf, can I count sex as exercise for the day too?! ;) :p
...

I just keep telling myself, this time in only 16 days it will all be over! Bring on the summer!!!!...:)

I love your description of having your running feel right. You know you might find there even comes a time when you look forward to that terrible out-of-breathness too. I love the way that makes my chest feel later on, and I reckon it's a signal that you have worked to the max. and added a bit onto what you will be able to do another time.

You can count sex. :) But don't try to put it on the Walk around the World Challenge. :) (It might help you for your own backpacking though.) Bonus from all the exercise for future sex: more strength and endurance and FUN! :D

It's a bugger about the uncooperative scales but you have done everything right and logged it so that you KNOW you have done it right, and now it's just a matter of keeping going with that. It's GREAT that you already know that and are not getting phased by the issue. :)

First off ~hugs~ for Kez, I hope you got some good rest tonight!:p Hey what is a Rocky Bar?? Is it like a protein bar?? Never heard of it. I hope in the morning your feeling a lot better. I'll check in on you then. :p Night!

Hi eveyone!!

Thanks for all your nice comments!

I am feeling SO much better today! I had started to panic yesterday, about revision, but when I forced myself to focus and just DO IT, without really thinking about it, it was fine! And my bf came over at 10 which was great as he is such a great influence on me! Him just being in the room helps calm me and cheer me up, and he put everything into perspective for me! Just one of the reasons I know he is The One  :)

I've already doen lots of exercise today btw!

Anyway, I gotta go and get on with todays work! I just wanted to check in and say thanks :)

PS Miss ladyb a rocky bar is a naught biscuit with chocolate and caramel, but its very small, as a redeeming feature! I find that something like that often helps prevent REAL chocolate cravings that would result in eating much more, and much naughtier things! Although I probably shouldn't have had 2 yesterday

Thanks Sunshine!

I've just seen that I am now a fully fledged Member, where has that 'Junior' gone?! Flippin 'eck...

Overall a good day health-wise, just very stressful again!

14 days now til its over

How are you liking the couch to 5k plan? is it helpful? I'm debating whether I want to attempt it when i hit a certain milestone..

Hi Mal! I've only done the first week, but so far so good! It's not exactly as easy as I'd hoped it would be, considering it is the first week, and I get very out of breath, but I'm hoping to see obvious improvement soon! I'll let you know on Thursday, which will be the beginning of week 2, and it gets a little harder!

Good food today!! Your just trucking along, GOOD JOB!! And a coffee drinker, AHHHHHH I love coffee, that's one thing I will never give up, unless of course my doc says I had to. Hope the rest of your day goes well!!

Hahaha I've only just noticed (after 8 months on this forum, on and off) the funny things it says if you hover the cursor over the little green cylinder things on peoples posts!

Mal is a glorious beacon of light, yay go Mal!! :p

Today I have been eating little and often (and you will see!), trying to keep my energy levels up and feeding my brain. I am also taking supplements-vitamins and iron, fish oil and Kalms. I am still struggling with a huge mountain of revision but I have made more headway today than for the past 2 days. You know, I have worked my ARSE off for these exams, I really do deserve to do well if I say so myself!

(I'm posting before the end of day so this includes what I'm GOING to do in the next couple of hours!)
