kelly's diary

Hey you chicky poo :):):) I still havent decided when would be best for me to come on down - I would like to come when the kids are outta school which would be next weekend - plus my youngest and I are taking 2 classes on saturday which begin on July 7th - however if I come over next weekend I will be absolutly broke - as I recieved a whole 300.00 dollar pay cheque this week...and I cant count on my maintance for anything...

Im looking forward to seeing you again - I enjoyed meeting you last time...Im really happy to see you are focusing on your eating agian and exercising :):):) and that you have lost 2 lbs !!!

Hey Kelly :) I have to echo what Rho Rho said. Its something we talked about and you seem to have taken it to heart. Consistency is such a key. People will see a lake or an ocean and think its tranquil and not terribly frantic, but over time that peaceful water wears away rock.

Big congrats on the pounds down. Like you said, they may fluctuate up again, but they will fluctuate up 2 pounds less than they used to. Hitting "new lows" to me is definitely a sign of fat loss even though it is expected that they will fluctuate up again a bit -- they just wont go up as high as before and that's what we want. The quitting smoking is altogether in another league. Anyone who has the will power to kick that habit definitely impresses me. Just an all around excellent job!

Things are coming back together. I went gardening today for the first time in two months. It was hard to get my head around it but okay once I got going. Worked for three hours. Good money.

Calories coming in at around 2000 for a deficit of about 400.

My son's graduation ceremony Thursday night. I am going with my sister and my ex is going to take our younger son (I hope - he is funny that way). I really hope he comes.

Today I decided that I just don't have what it takes for a long term relationship. I sent some pretty crazy emails to the ex and have apologized.

Am glad for one more good weight loss day. See everyone in the morning.

Good for you for getting out and gardening! Also congrats on your son's graduation, you must be very proud. You're doing a great job Kelly :) As far as the emails to the ex, it takes a strong person to be able to apologize. You're a strong woman!

Well, I'm back to thinking life is beautiful. Turbulent at times, but good.

Saving up to send my sons to see Rain, The Beatles Experience, a concert in July. Need to garden up about $120. I saw them last year. My kids like the Beatles, well they'll LOVE them after this. That's good incentive to work.

All things settled for my son's grad night on Thursday. We're all going. Maybe not all sitting together but WE'LL ALL BE THERE. It will be a proud night. I'm bringing lots of Kleenex.

Going babysitting in the morning, gardening in the afternoon. Big money day.

Meaningful times with sister and friends tonight. What a day. What a kid. (me)

It takes a lot of mental fortitude to recognise your deficiencies and try to improve on them. Good on you for wanting to better yourself. It's an attitude I think more people should have, instead of constantly shifting the blame onto others. You're a much better person for it, and I mean that.

Back to weight loss, I wonder how many calories gardening burns... Some people swear by it, but I think it's just too much hard work :D

You must be so excited at your son's graduation. My parents couldn't make it to mine, and this made me sad cos I'll never forget it, even though my friends tried to make it special for me. So I appreciate the effort you're making to be there for your son's. I hope it all goes well and you don't bawl too much - it might be recorded for posterity!

Have loads of fun today - it'll be another good weight loss day..

Is this college or high school graduation? Or some other kind?

In any event, it is surely something to celebrate and shedding happy tears! (speaking from personal experience!) :)

I had no idea you had a child old enough to be graduating. By your picture, you don't look old enough to have a child of that age. Best of luck with the graduation! Go ahead and bawl like a baby, you've earned it.
