If you notice I hardly NEVER write what I eat......Im not so much into counting calories.....I know before too long I will have to though....right now I am eating so much better than I have had in a long time and that is why I am losing weight.....Plus the " E" word...lol....
But also its about portion control.....I eat all my dinners on a sald plate with a kiddy fork!!!....LOl...
Once again thanks so much for figuring out the newbies end results.
I had planned on asking you since you one of the smartest people I know on here.....Love ya!!!!

woo hoo! I went shopping today - and not only did I buy a MEDIUM coat for winter =) but I also fit into a pair of size 7 juniors jeans!!! =) and luckily they were on sale for $11!

I really used to hate shopping - especially going with other people b/c they would find all of these cute clothes and nothing i found ever fit... it just made me feel so horrible, and worthless... and now shopping has become enjoyable again! If only things weren't so expensive!!! The worst part about losing weight is that you are continually going down in sizes... so you have to keep buying new things... I just got the one pair of pants and a sweater today... hopefully by xmas I'll be where I want to be and can maintain, and then... i'll just have to ask for all new clothes for xmas!
 
stupid bread! if it weren't for the approximately 300 calories of bread I had today - I would have been right on target =)
I also am having trouble getting exercise in.. mostly due to the fact that because of the holidays our campus gym has closed... and its far too cold to run outside... I need to get out the exercise video tonight and do a little kickboxing!!!
 
Wow! You are doing great. I would love to be down in the 130's again!

I have read that green tea can help with metabolism and weight loss. Is that why you are drinking it? Do you think it helps you?
 
Size 7 that is so Awesome Katie you should be so proud. I wore a pair of those before of course that was in High school...LOL. I'll get there again though. You are doing so amazing you are truly an inspiration everytime I read your journal I get so happy for you an it makes me want to work out or do something so I can wear a size 7...LOL. Keep up the good work Katie. I know how it is with buying clothes I dont want to buy any even though mine are falling off. I will just have to buy more later so I have been waiting so I can shop once...well mayby I may have to buy a few things..LOL. Anyway Sweetie Im so proud of you. Hope you have a good weekend.

size 7, man, lucky you! I think when I was born I was a size 12, lol

Katie!!!! Hip hip hooray!!!!!.....Size 7...!!!!...WOW!!!!....Dont you just LOVE it!!!
I read about how you said you are always having to buy clothes b/c of the weight loss..and it gets real expensive.....around here they have like the vintage shops/ good will....and places like that.
If you take the time you can find some REALLY great name brand things in there. Its always difficult to find my size...but I am always finding gap clothing, Anne Taylor, Express, Bananna Republic.....If I was only about 12 sizes smaller...LOL....
 
yeah.. i have been doing alot of consignment store shopping in the past year!!! =) I also have a friend who works at Banana Republic - and she got me a HUGE discount when they had a sale earlier this fall, so that was nice.

Oh - and I drink green tea b/c it is good for me, and helps with metabolism, and I just really like green tea!

holy crap ladies... the burrito today should not have been eaten - at least not the whole thing... I totally should have eaten half and let the rest sit =( someone give me a kick in the pants!

I'm actually really bummed with myself for not getting exercise in... I haven't worked out since WEDNESDAY!!! Somehow tonight I need to find time to do it, and then ride the exercise bike when I go home on Wednesday (and maybe either friday or saturday) If I don't workout tonight - if I don't post something by tomorrow morning, you all have the responsibility/obligation/right to KICK MY BUTT IN GEAR!!!

Hey Katie, Dont beat yourself up over the burrito Sweetie. We all have our moments and for the most part you do awesome all the time. So its one mistake and you will do better tomorrow. I'll be watching your excercise and I'll come in and kick your butt if you dont get any in. Take care Sweetie!
 
size 7 juniors? :eek: i'm SO jealous!!! how tall are you? that is so awesome, what an accomplishment! i'm so proud of you girl!! :)

that burrito sounds yummy! you shoulda gave it to me ;)

okay - so the exercise didn't happen last night - BUT I got it in this morning!!!

breakfast:
banana bread (150)

lunch:
chicken and noodles (300)
toasted bread (100)
salad with swiss (125)

snack:
pretzels (40)
pecans (50)
cheese crackers (150)
coffee (60)
16 oz h20

dinner:
romaine w/ lemon juice (25)
toasted chickpea pizza?! (400?) - basically, chickpeas/lemonjuice/mustard/olive oil on french bread w/ feta cheese... then put in the oven under the broiler for a few minutes... it is SO good!!! It was supposed to be made with tuna, but I didn't have any... and its still really good!!!
