awww... you guys are all so sweet and so encouraging!!! I really appreciate all of the support that you all offer...

I feel so bad that I haven't been checking on all of you and seeing how you are doing as much - this time of year is just NUTS with school work... I just realized that in exactly 2.5 weeks, I need to have 2 final exams, 2 response papers, and 4 final papers!!!! holy $h!t!!!!!

needless to say - I love ya all very much, and I hope that when you look here you know that I'm thinking about all of you!!!
 
I'm with you on the finals. One of my professors is posting our take home final on the internet the day after Thanksgiving! It is due Friday of next week. Then right after that I will have three more finals that are 3-4 hours long! Comprehensive finals at that. And I haven't even began to study! Holy sh*t is right!
 
hehehe... it's going well so far... three dinners down, two to go! bleh - i've been fairly good about not eating outside of meals... have gotten in some "exercise" with my fiancee, and my brother's girlfriend convinced me to go for a 2.6 mile run in the 20 degree weather on Thursday morning... so things are going fairly well...

My family has definately noticed a difference in how I look... they keep telling me how skinny I look and all of that... my brother's same girlfriend walked in the door and asked - what are you - a size 2?! (she's an aerobics instructor btw - and way more fit than I am)... While I enjoy how much they are commenting, it also makes me feel kind of bad... it makes me wonder how bad I looked before. My fiancee said that I didn't look bad before, I just look really great now... but still, it seems to rub the wrong way...
 
Honey dont feel bad you do look amazing and they are being honest and they arent telling you that you didnt look good before because you looked beautiful before too. When your fiance fell in love with you you were heavier and he still fell in love with you so apparently he never had a problem with you so there you go. Of course you look better now. Anyone does when they get healthy. Be happy and proud honey you are awesome. Congrats on the size 2 comment....I can only wish for me. Keep your head up darlin.You are such a role model for me.

Katie, I know what you mean on feeling bad cause you THINK you must have looked terrible b4... But girl, you did NOT look TERRIBLE! You were still the beautiful person you are today.
You have done amazingly well, and still are. Keep at it until you are where you wanna be and I know you will have no prob maintaining.
You are so strong! And beautiful and your Fiance is RIGHT! listen to him!

I know EXACTLY what you mean about everyone making a big deal over how you look rubbing you the wrong way. My parents both freak out about it everytime I see them, and so do my friends, especially the guys. Makes me think "jeez, what was wrong with me before." But I know they're just excited for my accomplishment and that they mean well. Just remind yourself of that-they all mean well. You're doing awesome. I hope the next 10 days of school don't kill you. They might kill me!
