I'm gradually building up my momentum so eventually i can get to the point of running a full mile. That is my new goal before the summer... and today I was able to do more than i had before =) I have never been a runner. I always dreaded it when we had to do the mile in high school. I was always one of the last ones done. But for some reason, at this time in my life, getting out there, sweating it out, enjoying the fresh air, it is really a great experience.
I am so glad that I have this forum, because if it wasn't for the encouragement here to keep with my plans, i would have sat on the couch this afternoon watching television instead of enjoying the beautiful day. I needed something like this to make me stick with my plans. Plans that have now gone on for almost three months and a 20lb loss! wooo hooo!!!!
p.s. it sucks to live alone and have to buy things like grapes in such big bags... there is never time to eat them all b4 they go bad!
