if your going to drink, have bacardi light rum (no carbs) with diet coke! i think its about 50 calories a shot. well vodka, whiskey, and gin are also 50 cals a shot as long as they are 80 proof otherwise the calorie content is higher. just save up so you can partayyy! :D have a great weekend!
 
okay - scratch ALL of the above... except for breakfast and lunch I did HORRIBLE today!!! I forgot totally about coffee hour on campus, and had 1/2 bagel and a donut... so that's like an additional 400 calories right there...

then, I was starving this afternoon, and at work, someone brought this snack mix to a meeting... without realizing it I had quite a few handfuls... probably another couple hundred calories (it was frosted cheerios w/ life, raisins, cashews, m & m's.. you get the picture)

So now I'm kicking myself... last night fast food and today all of this extra eating outside of my perfectly good plan... I just have to get my $%!# together and do better next week. I think that because I have done so horrible already, I"m just going to go tonight, enjoy the party, not worry about it, and then tomorrow MAKE SURE that I go for a run/hit the gym... I'll start back up with my healthy goals/plan tomorrow as well...

Anyone know when the next challenge is starting? I think I'm going to need some small group motivation and support!!!
 
It is SO tough to get back in action. I know you can do it though. Did you make a new goal weight? I thought your goal was 130 before.
 
hey there everyone - I'm back! (again)

yeah, I did make a new goal weight... I want to try to reduce my body fat a bit more and after I got to like 132, I realized that I would need a few more pounds to do it... it is still well within my weight range (115-140) so i'm feeling good about it.

alright... I'm really hoping this next challenge will get me going again. the biggest thing that I need to do is get to the gym... i think that if I could start doing that again, I would be fine and the weight would start to slide off... but I must confess that I haven't worked out since I have been back in nashville with the exception of one 30 min run...

You have been doing so good. Don't worry about your cheat day. Put it behind you and move on. But get your butt to the gym!

okay - today is my first day back on the wagon... and unfortunately, because i was out to eat for lunch and didn't chose very wisely (VERY poorly in fact) I could have done much better...

tomorrow night I have decided that I AM going to the gym... I WILL go at 7:45, and do my normal workout... and then to reward myself i'll head out to a local restaurant to hear a friend play guitar... Sunday, I hope to make it to the gym, and then I am going to start going to the gym on Tuesday and Thursday mornings, between 6 and 8, since those are the mornigns I have class a bit later... that gives me two mornings, and one weekend day to get my exercise in... WISH ME LUCK!!!

alright - so it is only 3:30 in the afternoon - but I AM SO PROUD OF MYSELF!!!! I haven't deviated yet - I didn't slip up and have a donut at coffee hour this morning, only had one cup of coffee, drank my water, passed up the chocolate at work... whee!!!!! my DF is making dinner tonight, shepherds pie, so I have no idea about those calories, but as long as I did good the rest of the day, i'm not going to worry about it.
 
holy crap... if you just scroll up a little bit and look at my wonderful record for today, you will find that I not only STUCK with my plan, but GOT TO THE GYM! and DRANK H20!!!

you know, for as much fighting I have done in the past weeks with getting on track, it is amazing how just one day makes me feel so good... NOW i just have to keep it up!
