Kate's ~4 month~ Journal.

Alright. Im back.

Ive been slacking on writing down what I do, but Ive been doing really well on my diet & exercise.

The week 2 is STILL killing me, so I might have to spend a few more days on it.

As for the diet, its just become normal for me. I dont eat after 7-8, and Ive been good on not snacking too much. Im also not tempted by some of the junk food in my house, so thats a relief.

But I think I might be eating too much tuna...

Oh well. 11 days until schools out, so I hope I can keep eating a small lunch at home. Although my mom would probably assume I was starving if I only ate an apple and pretzels for lunch at home... well, we'll just see how that goes.

On the bright side, shes contacted the kickboxing people, and I get 2 free lessons to see how I like it. They didnt tell her how much it costs though... maybe thats why theyre giving out the free lessons.

On the dark and gloomy side, school is overloading me with work. I wrote 3 reports on thurday, and have about 5 more to do this weekend(Its extra credit work, Im not that much of a slacker). Im going to work my ass off so I can get all of it done, it would be bad if I just gave up at the end of the year.

So thats how my life has been without you, Doggy. Same boring shit...
 
Ive been doing poorly on exercise, so Im going to kick myself back into gear today.

Oh, and today was another weigh in. 167.7. :hurray:
 
Breakfast- 1 cheesestick. 8oz protein shake.
Lunch- Apple & pretzels.
Snack- Turkey burger and salad.
Dinner- Salad w/ chicken- about 2 small potatoes.

Snack- 1 chicken boob w/ brown rice

I didnt run today, but Im going to tomorrow. No worries.

I am so freakin sick of brown rice and apples. Not to mention pretzels. I HATE ALL OF THEM.

I get out of school in five days! Yay! :)
If the weather is decent, Ill try to get out and walk alot. Im also going to get into kickboxing, maybe, so thatll help. Im kinda worried that my meals will get bigger once Im out of school, since their is alot more opportunities to eat. Oh well. Self control I guess.

Im also planning on learning geometry, so we'll just see how that goes! :ack2:

My friend has been calling me fat ass, a lot, lately. Which is quite funny, seeing as how she only insults me when shes jealous. Cant wait to go back to school 30 pounds less, bet she'll be calling me fat ass all year long.

Hopefully I wont have any classes with her. Shes a very annoying person to be honest.
So I got out my calendar, and did a little bit of calculations. If I lose 2 pounds a week, then by the start of school, I would be 145.



Oh well. Time to get my fat ass on that treadmill and do some running!
 
Breakfast- Egg whites w/ ham. 8oz protein shake.
Lunch- Brown rice w/ 1/2 chicken boob.
Snack- 1/2 cup kidney beans w/ little bit of barbecue sauce. 1 banana.
Dinner- Havent eaten it yet.

Im going to ask my mom to buy some soy milk, almonds, and craisins. As well as some more kidney beans I guess. Maybe some natural peanut butter too.. ?

She always gets defensive when I ask for things like soy milk. We have 1% all organic low fat blah blah blah milk, so she doesnt see a need for it. She also tries to persuade me to eat meat at dinner if I dont eat any. I am NOT going to tell them Im trying to cut all meat except fish out of my diet, seeing as she would freak out and go on the "its all lean!" crusade.

Kidney beans werent as god awful as I thought they would be! Im surprised! Not the best thing, but hey, I can handle them. Now if only I could stomach some oatmeal...
 
Okay. Im going Nazi with my diet and exercise, because if I dont, I wont reach my goal in time.

Number 3 will take place once school ends, kinda hard to eat whenever you want when youre in class!
As will 4, 5, 6, and 7. I will have alll the time in the world to do those once school gets out.


1) Im going cold turkey vegetarian. (Hahahahaa. Get it?!)
2) Absolutely NO EATING after 7pm.
3) 5 meals a day. Smalll healthy snacks inbetween.
4) Walk to the library 5 times a week, unless weather or something EXTREME prevents you.
5) Run on treadmill EVERY morning, except if youre at dads house.
6) Stretch before each run for 15-20 minutes.
7) Exercise ball EVERY night!

Ill add more as needed.

I didnt eat after 7 today. *gnaws on shoe*

Well, the tea and god only knows how much water filled me up.
Lets see how I handle tomorrow without any meat.
 
Breakfast- 2 eggs/ no yoks. 1 piece wholewheat bread.
Lunch- Pretzels & apples.
Snack- 1 1/3 cup tomato soup w/ cheddar cheese
Dinner- Wholewheat pasta w/ sauce. Salad w/ low fat dressing.

1 and a half more days of school! -wets self out of excitement-

Well, I completed the first of week 3! Not as hard as I thought it would be, but it still got me panting like a dog and sweating like hell. This is my last full day of school! Tomorrow is a half day then its summer! :smash:

Im changing my weigh in day to today, so I can compare my weight from the last day of school(the weight the kids will last see me at) to when I return! My weigh in was supposed to be tomorrow so who cares.

165.7! Yay.
 
You're doing great! Good food choices, habitual working out. Stick with it and you'll definately be a whole new girl next year.

I didnt want to eat the muffin, I swear! Well I did.. Anyways, I was going to have a salad with the pasta but all the lettuce was rotten and moldy. :banghead:

Im going shopping tomorrow, so then Ill be able to make better choices.

I also need to make an eating schedule so I dont stuff my face all day long.
