Kaitie's Open Diary

mmmm.. pasta with red sauce is my weakness. You're doing great. Maybe the pasta fest was what your body needed.. a little boost. Keep up the great work!!

Thanks everybody!!

T2: I totally agree with you, I was just scared that I muffed it up--but thankfully the scale still said 175 this morning so yeah!!!

Dari: Congrats on the sit-ups! It's so not easy to do them but I totally lose a ton of weight when I do them religiously. I'll be thinking of you when I do mine tonight! :)

I wore my sexy jeans to school today and felt great! Lots of people, including my principal who caught me wearing them (oops!) said I looked fantastic! *warm fuzzy feeling* OH OH OH!!! AND I had to pull in my belt another notch. So when I got these jeans on Oct 4th I could hardly buckle the belt, now I'm in two notches! Weehee!

Gotta go exercise!

:) Hello Katie,
Congrats on the scale and on the sexy jeans;) !

tips on how to make them comfy on your back?Anything over
50 is simply amazing my tummy hurts extremely bad after 30 lol!
Do you do sets of 25/50 or all 150 at once?Cmon spill
the secret because my tummy needs major work along with my
booty! Have a gr8 day Katie!:) Tammy

katie bug you are totally kickin it man!!!;) I knew you'd do it, after all you are determined and too smart to let a bad day (orweek even) stop you now!!!!! just wait till your sucking that belt in 4 notches girl!!!!! Later gator, STAR

*waves back* Howdy!

I usually do my sit-ups 15 at a time, when I get really tired I do 10 at a time. It takes me about 10-15 minutes to get them all done. I am certainly not speedy at them. :)

I use a machine so there's no pressure on my neck at all--otherwise I wouldn't do them. But I know that you can sit on the edge of your bed, feet flat on the floor, cross your arms around your chest and do your sit-ups that way--no pain at all!

Exercises for today:

172 calories burned on the bike
60 rotary torso
150 sit-ups
75 abductions
60 adductions
75 lower back

Heehee, I only did 75 because I can't add! Instead of counting straight to 60 I counted on the 15's....and I thought there were 5 15's to = 60. Haha. You'd never think that my husband is a math teacher! :)

It's actually really really comfortable. You just sit in it and put your elbows on the pads, put your feet under the leg pads---then you sit-up! No pain on the neck, no trying to keep your feet on the floor, as much as I'm sick of sit-ups it makes them really easy!

I know ya'll will think I'm crazy but Oprah says she does 300 sit-ups a day...I don't think I could ever do that but 150 is pretty darned good.

Off to go weigh myself on the GNC scale (I call it the official scale)--wish me luck! My scale said 174.5 this morning!

I did 150 on Thursday! Plan to do the same this morning. I do them on the floor, but I alternate. I have 5 different ways of doing them, 15 reps of each. Then I do it again. 6 pack, here we come!
