Kaitie's Open Diary

What I'm doing for me and my friend this week, since I'm home everyday and she works long hours, is I'm going to make a bunch of freezer friendly meals, yummy ones, and freeze them into lunch size portions. Just like lean cuisines, only better for you! I do it with chili and soup as well.

And Tammy, I've been collecting and trying recipes, as I'm sure a lot of people here do. We should start some threads on the recipe board.

*throws confetti*

Thanks everybody, I really appreciate all the support and kind words---if it wasn't for you I'd have given up a long time ago.

*super squishy hugs*

Great job katie! I had to stop by and say hi and congratulations, not even my death bed can keep me from it right now...lol! keep up the good work!

*guilty face*

Well, they were serving macaroni with red meat sauce at schooland I just couldn't get it out of my head....so I made it for dinner! I used whole wheat pasta (which sucks by the way) but I just couldn't stop....I think I had about 3 servings!!! It just tasted so freakin' good!! Then I had to make cupcakes for a Halloween party tomorrow night and well me and frosting---its a love, love relationship. Through all my finger slurps and the knife full of frosting I had after I was done....I totally went way over my calories for today. I actually ate about 2000 calories, haven't done that is 3 months! Fitday is still showing that I burned 1000 more calories than I consumed but I still feel guilty! Now I'm just trying to drink a bunch of water to help flush it out of my system.

Exercises for today (would've done more if I knew that I was going to lose control)

175 calories on the bike (6 miles I think)
150 sit-ups

That's it. Totally should'a, could'a, would'a. :) Tomorrow will be better.

Yum, I love pasta:D I'd rather waste the calories on food; I went out for a drink tonight; had 2, plus 2 pops. Soooo not worth it.

Hi Katie, thanks for dropping in on my diary. I havent been posting much in there. I have big issues with pasta. I cant stop at one serve. Its just too yummy. In fact all carbs are addictive to me. But we learn as we go along, and you are doing fine.

I actually ate about 2000 calories

Now wipe the guilt off your face :p

Try to remember this: An average human burns damn-near 1500 calories if they laid in bed 24 hours and never moved.

so...

A 500 cal overage would take 7 days of repeating to equal 1 pound. You must add on the extra burning you did in the tiniest of things like walking and doing things around the house and on and on + your exercise and I think you'll see that a 2000 cal day was no penalty at all here.

You're still doing just fine !!

Who doesn't LOVE pasta! You are doing such a great job. Everyone falls..just get up and keep going. Your still right on track.

T2 is very smart. Never realized that the average person burns nearly 1500 calories just chillin in bed. hmm neato! ( I am new to all this stuff..lol)

Keep up the great work Katie!! You can do it!
