Good morning! I remember there being lots of mirrors at the gym and I needed to do squats with a ball behind my back.The mirror didn't crack thank god but I picked an inconspicuous corner just in case. Wonder if you can do wall sits that way? Instead of leaning on the wall you have a stability ball at your back? That might be intense!

Also by being the nice guy you will find what you want when you are ready you will get it..Im a firm believer in that...I also believe that good woman finish last...

"ATAH YOU SO LACY, YOU NEE SIT LONG TIMEEE, LOOONG TIME...AGAINST THAT WALL...DO ET GAN, DO ET GAN..."!!! :(

...man, we would do 3 minute holds, and THEN....do it AGAIN & AGAIn :eek2:

...the trembling on my legs is worse than an earthquake....LOL....
....better start them up again....;) (cause between us...he was right...I am so lacy!!!) :D:!!!! LOL!!!
 
JZ, I was at the gym tonight and thought, "You know what would round this out nicely? A wall sit." I looked around and there was not one place to do it. Every wall had a mirror on it, and I'm not going to be the guy who cracks a mirror trying to wall sit on it. Oh, well, next time.

Funny about the mirrors... and why do people think that people who go to a gym, and care about there bodies are vain???!!! Get on the wall sits Trops... smash it!!! :smash:

What's up Mishi!!! Great idea... I'll have to try it out next time I do sits... prob mon. :) :) Good thing about not breaking the mirror... who needs the bad luck??!!?? NOT ME!!! :D

OMG I haven't been here in a while :x

You are still kicking @$$ at the exercise. I know I've said this before but I cannot get over how much you can jumprope. My PT made me do it the other day for like 5 minutes and I was DYING. What a great work-out though. But man, you did it for FORTY-FIVE MINUTES? INSANE!!!

I hope you're doing well. Sorry the whole relationship didn't work out but you got your head on right. You have a goal in mind and you know you're not ready. You are NOT an ass. If you were an ass you would have stayed in the relationship. I read through many of the replies to your post and I agree with I_love_muscle word-to-word.

I'm going to step out on a limb and say that the people on this forum are the nicest group of people I've ever chatted with. In fact, it's been an honor to read everybody's posts and get an insight into your struggles. I feel blessed that the members here share such intimate details of their trials and tribulations in their journeys.

That being said, you're not an ass JZ. And nice guys don't always finish last ... not if you're talking about (OK here I go again!!!) integrity, honesty, respect, kindness, etc. etc. Those are the things that matter in the long run.

There's a lot of support here. More than I've ever seen anywhere else. We all know you're hurting right now because most of us know what it feels like. And since most people here have really big hearts, I think there's going to be a lot of loving' vibes being sent your way :)

Totallyyyy agree. This isn't just a weight-loss support. Everyone is willing to listen to ANYTHING. The support on here is just...mind-blowing. :)

Thanks Jess! Glad you dropped in!! I appreciate the kind words as usual! I don't do 45 straight with the JR, I do 4 minutes on, 1 minute off!! And as I said before, I'm inspired to catch Trops!! Swing in more often, I'll do the same in your thread... deal? :)
 
Update!!

Thursday - AM CARDIO... 45 treadmill on "FATBURN" followed by 35 on the elliptical!! Great workout!

Eating... Perfect! :)

Friday - AM Upperbody workout performed as circuit!! NICE!!! 9.8 on scale... should have increased my shoulder press by 5lbs!! Next time for sure.

Food - stellar.... and I avoided the Pizza! It was the only "unhealthy" meal I gave my kids this week. THEY MOWED IT DOWN!!!! I think one of them got the end of my finger too!!! :D Actually, they have taken VERY well to the new nutrition. My oldest asks me all the time... will this make me big and strong and tough like you???? He's workin' some angle!!! Maybe a new bike!!! :D

I'm working all weekend and then driving home on Sunday night (6 hour drive) so I'll check back on Monday. Have a GREAT weekend. Enjoy yourself :) You have been kicking butt @ this amazing new lifestyle.

Great! Thanks Jess... I do feel like this is NEARLY a permanant change in my life! I just HAVE to stay diligent, and not slide back to some of my bad habbits!! I actually kind of worry about that. When I was sick with Bronchitis for like two weeks in December, I was not getting in very much excercise.... my eating was OK, but I was just soooo ready to feel better and get back to it!!

As for the PIZZA... I have been avoiding it EVERY friday night since I started this Journey.... IT GETS EASIER each time!!! But ya know what... next week, I am going to account for it in my weekly calories!!! Actually incorporate it BI-WEEKLY into my nutrition plan. Who knows... it will probably make my stomach do hoola hoops around my insides.... I haven't had "tasty" food in a while!!

Yes, my kids are cute.... but VERY CUNNING!!!! He's after something... I know it!! :D :D

Thanks Amanda! I'm doing very good with the lifestyle change, so the scale is showing me some of the results!!!

Thanks to ALOT of people(you know who you are) who have helped me veiw this in the way I stated above.... it is absolutely TRUE!!

MM PIZZA! I never even ate it that often but now that I know I shouldn't have any, I get excited and I salivate whenever I see a Pizza Hut commercial on TV. It usually happens when I'm at the gym and then I feel like such a heffer. Haha.

It'll probably taste really UH-MAZING when you do eat it since you haven't had any in a while. I think it'll be fine, calorie wise, since you'll be counting it towards your caloric intake. :)
